Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Announced

Pokémon has just announced that Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be released in November 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS. Not much more is known. Below is what the official site posted in their announcement:

Announcing Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems! Prepare for an epic adventure exploring a world filled with Pokémon!

Pokémon fans first enjoyed Pokémon Ruby Version and Pokémon Sapphire Version when it launched in 2003 for the Game Boy Advance. Now, a whole new generation of Pokémon fans will experience the dramatic storyline that unfolds in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.

Look forward to Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire when the games launch worldwide in November 2014!

These games will be released in November world wide as confirmed by the Japanese announcement. The Japanese mini-site is kind of cool, by the way.

ps- Personally I cannot be more excited about these games. I don’t know what a heart attack feels like, but I think I had one when I saw these announced.

  3. O.K how about some secret base Speculation?
I really want a more elaborated and useful use instead of a just a personal space
Integrate it into PSS System and Super Training and Amie and more
[PSS] The Pss will still have a Touchscreen Application with your PokeNav but at the same time can be accessed by a PC in your base, where u can organize friends an other statistics

[Super Training] Now is a new feature that can be accessed at your base via a Punching Bag Station where you take your pokemon and preform a similar mini game but involving a Punching Bag to strengthen your Pokemon’s Core

[Amie] Now you can use a specialized (and Colorful) Play Mat to play and interact with your Pokemon, and while you can feed your Pokemon Lesser Pokeblocks to both feed and increase their contest Appeal

Some other functions include doing mini games with other Trainers and Entering others bases

    • Hell yes for the punching bag inside of our secret base. the Amie mat is a bit too complex for me, my brain is fried atm lol, but yes to making things more convenient in our base.

… now… to figure out where my base will be.

      • I’m just saying the Mat is similar to the Punching Bag its a station where you just sit down and play with your Pokemon

Its all about location and what the Layout is
My favorite spot was the Bushes right out of Fortree and i remember having to find covers for the holes to go back there

      • Gen 5 they shiny locked every legend in-game (Zekrom/Reshiram included)

        Gen 6 they shiny locked xerneas & yveltal & the 3 birds…

they will def shiny lock the pentagon kyogre/groudon or whatever shape they get in their summary.

I would say I’m not 100% guaranteed, but the fact that since Gen 6, Poke’s who can’t breed will always have three 31 iv’s makes it seem like… they won’t release the shiny lock. Cause then we’ll be soft resetting for 3IV shinies (or more iv’s).

        • Whats so bad about shinies?
Now I wanna barge into Nintendo and force them to release the pointless shiny lock.

          • I absolutely agree. It’s dumb tbh. Then they get disappointed when people start hacking.

They probably made it like this though because it was easy to get ahold of 6IV Shiny Groudons in the old games, from RNG’ing or from hacking

          • Yep. Just cause they made the game doesn’t give them any reason to hack theirs.
that got me thinking… why is it when you slap a policeman you get arrested but when you slap a non-policeman no one gives a sh*t (except the person who got slapped)

I think you mean only Zekrom, Reshiram, Victini, Keldeo, Meloetta, and Genesect (the latter 3 i think are the only ones you dont actually find in game, and Genesect is the only one which was dist. as a shiny)

  4. Sorry for bringing up other pokemon sites competing with PJN, but serebii states that the game will have “never before seen pokemon”. Thoughts?

  5. Thou hath been avoiding the gen 3 hype.

My brother says that the boxart is just groudon and kyogre with more pizzazz, even though its been classified as all new pokes. lol, take that brah.

I cannot care less when or what info we get. I just hope they don’t give us the info drought of gen 6 at least.

On a side note, finally finished levelling a new pokemon, hoping that it goes well.

also, think bout dis. A Fire/Poison Pokemon / Limber. Imune to burn/Poison/Para. Put a chesto berry on it and it’ll be almost statusless
