Pokémon has just announced that Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be released in November 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS. Not much more is known. Below is what the official site posted in their announcement:

Pokémon fans first enjoyed Pokémon Ruby Version and Pokémon Sapphire Version when it launched in 2003 for the Game Boy Advance. Now, a whole new generation of Pokémon fans will experience the dramatic storyline that unfolds in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.
Look forward to Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire when the games launch worldwide in November 2014!
These games will be released in November world wide as confirmed by the Japanese announcement. The Japanese mini-site is kind of cool, by the way.

I doubt this because they are all event legends and are/will already be available in XY. They usually go with putting old legends into remakes.
this!! volcanion & diancie are confirmed wonder card events, but hoopa (fateful encounter) doesn’t activate anything in XY so this means he’ll be encounterable in-game (but not in XY) 0_0

okay all this talk of the games got me realizing… full on remakes won’t be so bad after all lol. I was getting a bit pessimistic when I saw “full on remakes” but who am I kidding.. I’ve never been disappointed by a Pokemon game ever so I’m sure there going to slay me no matter what

Guys imagine how creepy Mt. Pyre will be. If I recall correctly the upper levels were misty/foggy. Imagine they do the over-the-shoulder camera in that area and random ghosts jump out at you from the fog.
