Pokémon has just announced that Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be released in November 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS. Not much more is known. Below is what the official site posted in their announcement:
Announcing Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems! Prepare for an epic adventure exploring a world filled with Pokémon!
Pokémon fans first enjoyed Pokémon Ruby Version and Pokémon Sapphire Version when it launched in 2003 for the Game Boy Advance. Now, a whole new generation of Pokémon fans will experience the dramatic storyline that unfolds in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.
Look forward to Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire when the games launch worldwide in November 2014!
These games will be released in November world wide as confirmed by the Japanese announcement. The Japanese mini-site is kind of cool, by the way.

ps- Personally I cannot be more excited about these games. I don’t know what a heart attack feels like, but I think I had one when I saw these announced.

For the first playthrough in a new game, I always picked the best based on my gut feeling:

I feel shamed.
I just came back today and I broke the rules.
I am dishonored. Disgraced.
There should be a rule not to post anything that may lead to a frozen sing a long xD
That would be the hardest rule to follow for me.
Well then we will be banning ice and their is a type for ice.
Elsa type confirmed! 😀
Omg that’s actually sounds ok.
That rule is impossible to follow, I’m afraid.
It’s all your fault!! Lol just kiddin :p

Delta Emerald.
The announcement was made only yesterday, so we were unable to include them in the supplementary document for this financial briefing, but the latest installments from the Pokémon franchise, “Pokémon Omega Ruby” and “Pokémon Alpha Sapphire” will be released globally for Nintendo 3DS in November this year. They are full-remakes of the Game Boy Advance “Pokémon Ruby” and “Pokémon Sapphire” games, which sold more than 5.44 million units in Japan and more than 16.22 million units worldwide.
I KNEW IT THEY WERE REMAKES yay for me
Remakes? Does this mean that events in Kalos happen in the same timeframe as those in Kanto? That’s impossible!
