Pokémon has just announced that Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be released in November 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS. Not much more is known. Below is what the official site posted in their announcement:
Announcing Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems! Prepare for an epic adventure exploring a world filled with Pokémon!
Pokémon fans first enjoyed Pokémon Ruby Version and Pokémon Sapphire Version when it launched in 2003 for the Game Boy Advance. Now, a whole new generation of Pokémon fans will experience the dramatic storyline that unfolds in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.
Look forward to Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire when the games launch worldwide in November 2014!
These games will be released in November world wide as confirmed by the Japanese announcement. The Japanese mini-site is kind of cool, by the way.

Me too. Yet, as I said many times. Nintendo could just hold on news and show off a lot at E3. I’m sensing this is going to be a great E3!

Really? 2013’s E3 was amazing. Mario Kart 8, SM3W, X/Y Trailer, X from Monolith Soft, etc. Nintendo got a B+ at this last year’s E3! This one is going to be better!
Last year’s E3 was decent for Nintendo, but they have a track record for being underwhelming at times lol Either way I’m excited

I’m really surprised to see how quickly this game was announced. It took 3.5 years to work on X/Y. Development for X/Y took place after B/W was released. I wonder how long it took to make this game!

Expect Mega Latios & Mega Latias to make their debut in this game! That might be why the Pokemon were in X/Y coding. Just so we can trade Mega Stones with both versions (and Pokemon)!
I think that Latios and Latias will be distributions in X and Y around the time of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphires released.
Latios in X and Latias in Y.
You can trade them over to OR or AS to unlock an event where you can get the Latiosite or the Latiasite.

Not being rude dude, but your not understanding. Too much coding, too much money, too much work, and wasting too much time! GameFreak is awesome, yet there is a limit with what they can do. Adding models to 700+ Pokemon is a ton of work. This feature would highly never return in another game. Just too much for GameFreak! Also, the 3DS is not super powerful too.

Do you want to model 700+ animated Pokemon 3D models? Usually tasks get easier as time progress. Yet, think about it! In HG/SS they used Sprites. It’s easier to animate Sprites than 3D Models. This would be a huge and time taking task on GameFreak and the 3DS would likely not be able to handle it.
im not saying like now or next year i cann see it returning in Diamond and Pearl reamkes since they kinda had it 😀

Walking with Pokemon. It’s highly not going to happened. It would take a ton of work and it would slow down the 3DS greatly. Yet, if it does it’s a neat feature. PokeWalker was awesome! I hope something similar returns!

Not really. It was tough for them to bring Pokemon into 3D. 3.5 year development cycle is rough. Walking with Pokemon again my never return. There is 700+ Pokemon it would take too long and be too tough!

To me, I’m leaning towards more a B2W2 thing that they are hinting at, but if it’s just a remake, I wouldn’t mind either. It’s Hoenn, for goodness’ sake, who wouldn’t be excited for it?!
And I believe those might be Mega evolutions of Groudon and Kyogre, not forms, but hey, whatever floats GF’s boat. (I might have gotten used to Megas since I last talked on here regularly….what. I blame replaying the games and actually using them……and Mega Charizard X. And Mega Abomasnow. Don’t. Judge.)
