Mega Evolution Giveaway coming to Pokémon Centers in Japan

A new promotion has been announced for Japanese Pokémon Centers. 6 level 50 Pokémon with Mega Evolutions will be given out from May to June. Below are the details:

May 10 – 18th: Gyrados (Gyradosite)

  1. Waterfall

  4. Dragon Dance

May 19 – 25: Scizor (Scizorite)

  1. Bullet Punch
  2. Swords Dance
  3. Roost
  4. U-Turn

    I know some may consider this spam, but I’m hosting a Minecraft event in approximately 7 hours, and I want to know who would want to join. I have Shiny Lickitung and Lionblaze joining, but that’s not enough people.
    I can give out rules and info upon request.

      • Ultra Hardcore. In a nutshell, it is Minecraft where you can no longer regenerate health from an almost-full hunger bar. Instead, you can only use Golden Apples or Regeneration Potions.

        What is Ultra Hardcore?

        Ultra Hardcore is a new gamemode (NOT A MOD) to Minecraft, developed by a group of people known as the Mindcrackers. In this game, you only regenerate through the usage of Golden Apples or Regeneration Potions– natural regeneration through an almost-full hunger bar no longer exists. However, you can still die of hunger.

        What are the rules?

        You are not allowed to use commands such as /heal or /feed, or any commands to give you ANY sort of benefit through the game. The game host is not running through a Minecraft Hosting Group, so the client will be open and all commands initiated by others will be seen.

        You will be allowed to travel to the Nether, but portal trapping is not allowed.

        Stalking other players is not allowed. You will be spawned in a location at least 1000 blocks away from other players, except your team.

        Towering is not allowed. In other words, creating a skybase and just sitting there for the whole game is not allowed.

        Strip mining (mining in the same direction) will be allowed.

        Team Killing is not allowed. If you kill another member of your team, whether or not it is on accident, you will be removed from the game and the person you killed will be allowed to come back to the game.

        How will the game run?

        At the time of the game, all players will be sent into a spawn location and given an additional reminder of how the game will run. Afterwards, a random number generator will determine your teams, and you will be taken to a random location across the map. For the first 30 minutes of the game, PvP will be disabled, and from there on, as long as the game needs to go (7 hours maximum), PvP will be allowed, and you will go on with the game. At the end of the game, the winning team will be announced and given their prizes:

        FIRST PLACE TEAM:

        – A question and answer session with server host SteliosBogdan.

        – A Golden Apple statue with their names engraved, visible from the server spawn.

        – The opportunity to host THREE UItra Hardcore games on this server, whenever they choose (first priority on which days/times to host).

        – The opportunity to create your very own minigame for my server, and you will be asked to be a part of my server staff!

        – The publicly-seen rank of “Kings of UHC.”

        SECOND PLACE TEAM:

        – A Golden Apple statue with their names engraved, visible from the server spawn.

        – The opportunity to host TWO Ultra Hardcore games on the server, on whatever days/times that First Place did not choose.

        – The opportunity to create your very own minigame for my server, and be asked to be a part of my server staff!

        THIRD PLACE TEAM:

        – A Golden Apple statue with their names engraved, visible from the server spawn.

        – The opportunity to host ONE Ultra Hardcore game on the server, on whatever days/times that Second Place did not choose.

        What is the server’s IP?
        68.104.70.128. It will open at 4:15PST on the 18th, and will close at 12:00PST on the 19th.

        More about the game and server?

        The server does feature additional minigames. Feel free to play the games IF you have been eliminated from UHC, but do not spam chat with questions about the minigames. You are not forced to leave the server if you are eliminated. You will be muted from chat by default if you are eliminated, to prevent chat spam and interference with other team’s chat. To speak to other members of your team without making your “secret plan” visible to the public, using /whisper [Person’s Name] should work fine. It would be appreciated if you could record for YouTube, but this is up to you. There will be 48 slots on the server, and depending on the number of people that sign up, there will be teams of 2 if there is a small amount (-24) of people, or teams of 4 if there is a larger amount (24+). If you send me a message (through Google Plus, or Disqus, or other) you will have a spot reserved in the game. Everyone else will be on a first come, first serve basis. If you, for some reason, disconnect, you will be given 5 minutes to return before you are eliminated from the game. In addition, the gamemode will be set on Hard for the duration of the game.

        Can I have a somewhat exact schedule?

        4:15 to 4:30PST: The timespan for participants to join the server.

        4:30 to 4:40PST: A rule reminder.

        4:40 to 4:55PST: Teams will be assigned and a location in the world will be given.

        4:55 to 5:00PST: A small wait time, and the game will begin.

        You will be announced every half hour of the time you have spend ingame.

        PvP is enabled after a half hour.

        Registration opens as soon as this has been posted, and I will no longer be accepting reservations after midnight the day this is posted. If you have reserved a spot or said you would be joining, and you do not join the day of the competition, you will be restricted from joining a future UHC.

          • It’s not up until then. That’s the max time that it can go.
            If you join, with myself and two others present, I don’t expect it to go past 7:00PST, or 10:00EST.

            Please Dae. I need more people to be on. At least try it. If you don’t like it you can leave. At least I’ll know you tried it.

          • In other words, the game automatically ends at 12:00PST. That means that if people are still alive by then, the game will automatically end.
            That’s only if there are still people alive by then.

    • Not to be rude, but I’m sure there are a ton of Minecraft fan sites out there where you can gather a bunch of people for your events.

          • I gotta hold off on adding junglers to the game until we get some things worked out, like gyms and e4 and stuff. Cause then i will forget and people will be upset ._.

I’m fairly decent at designing things and I saw you mention promotion above, and if you want help spreading word online I can help but I’m a manager in GameStop here so I talk a lot of pokemon anime etc to people on a daily basis, I’d be glad to mention your project to them 🙂
