Continuing our look back at the third Generation of Pokémon, we’re bringing you the next Ask PokéJungle.

Similarly to the second before it, Generation III is where a lot of trainers started their Pokémon Adventures, while, for others it was the third time they’d been introduced to a new batch of Pocket Monsters. Ruby and Sapphire undeniably introduced some of the biggest changes and additions to the series, including many that are still fan favourites today, such as secret bases.

If you’ve not already guessed, in this Jungle Asks we’re going to be focusing on all the Third Generation Pokémon games. We want to hear your questions! This is your chance to ask us and one another anything about the Third Generation, anything goes! So, yeah, have at it! And yes, just because I personally like the third generation the least, you can still ask me things…

  1. Guys, I made a CreepyPasta. Is it creepy enough for a first?

    My village
    was a calm, peaceful and quiet place. We never used to have any disturbances to
    shatter the tranquillity of the pretty, peaceful little village. Until, October
    1st. On the 1st of October, a family of hunters moved into the
    village. When they moved in, they told us how their village had a
    uncontrollable liking to Parasect Mushrooms. At the mention of Parasect, I felt
    a chill in my spine. I heard that Parasect were brainless bugs being controlled
    by the mushrooms on their backs so they were pretty much zombies. I immediately
    asked the Father of the family, “Since Parasect are zombies, don’t people turn
    into zombies on eating the mushrooms?” He replied cheerfully, “Nonsense. We
    have been eating Parasect Mushrooms for years. Do you see any zombie like
    appearance on our faces?” I looked up at his face. “No, sir” I replied. Still,
    my Growlithe was able to feel some dark aura coming from their house. On the
    night of October 1st, we all slept peacefully. All of us, except me.
    I heard noises coming from hunter family’s house. I let I go because they might
    have been watching late night television and I couldn’t doubt them. The whole
    village had been sleeping peacefully until October 30th.On the Night
    of October 30th, Everyone had been complaining about disturbed sleep
    and headaches due to the Parasect Mushrooms. For the past 2 weeks the hunters
    had been hunting for Parasect Mushrooms because the only food they knew to hunt
    were the Mushrooms and our village depended on the hunters for food . We had
    been forced to eat them. Even the Pokémon food had contents of Parasect
    Mushrooms. I had been smart enough to give my Growlithe Pokémon food that I had
    stored in my room and I survived on fruits. I was very hungry, but I knew I
    shouldn’t eat those mushrooms. But then, on October 31st, It all
    happened. The night grew darker than usual. The Miltank were mooing strangely.
    And a cold wind blew. My Growlithe looked scared. I knew what I had to do.
    “Growlithe, take this.” I said as I placed the Fire stone in its hand. It evolved
    into Arcanine. I ran out of my house with Arcanine and I saw a horrible sight.
    I saw tens of thousands of Parasect along with the villagers whose brains had
    been fully taken over by the Parasect Mushrooms. They lost the expression in
    their faces and their eyes were blank. My family, the village head, The Pokémon
    and everyone else had been taken over by the evil Fungus. The zombies had the
    power to turn regular people into zombies and they were lurking slowly towards
    me. I got onto my Arcanine’s back and told it to run into the woods. I had
    enough time to set up a pit-trap. When the Zombies caught up, they fell into
    the trap. They became raged and started to climb out of the trap, fast. I got
    on the back of my Arcanine. It kicked dirt in the zombies faces which seemed to
    slow them down. We ran deep into the woods. Then, we came to a stop. The woods
    had ended and we were standing at the edge of a cliff. The zombies caught up to
    us and without thinking about what was going to happen next, I said “Arcanine,
    burn them.” Usually, would not respond to such commands but this time, he knew
    his master was in danger and let out a scorching flame. All that was left of
    the villagers and the Parasect were Black piles of Cinder. I fainted at the
    sight of the burnt up villagers. Arcanine carried me on its back to the nearest
    Hospital. I woke up on the morning of November 1st and the Doctors
    told me I would be fine in a few days. I had broken a leg and I had to ride on
    Arcanine for a few days. Arcanine was also badly hurt and was not able to use
    moves until further notice. My village was turned into a graveyard. The graves
    of all the villagers and Pokémon were there. I told Arcanine to turn around. I
    swore I would never come to my village again. After a few months, I was adopted
    by a nice family. On October 31st I went out trick-or-treating with my new brother and
    Arcanine. I heard a noise in the woods. It sounded like my mother’s voice. I
    went towards it and I saw a pink figure with dark brown hair and a Pumpkin at
    the bottom of its body. It started to sing and I was starting to go into the
    light. I heard my Arcanine barking and then the world was blank…

    I need a name for it Tho…

  10. Actually, idk my Top 5 Hoenn Pkmn. I know 1-3 – They’re my overall faves, so – but the other teo are dificult. I love Shedinja, Salamance, Metagross, etc. So idk.

    I really want to play R/S/E for the first time, but there’s no Physical/Special Split, new evolutions, Mega Evolutions, Auto Repel, or Fairy Type!

  16. Oh I forgot while i was on vacation, I saw this really cool weapons shop and i found a real steel Master sword! I’m ssssoooooooo happy! (now to stay “on topic”)

  18. Anyways my favorite moment of 3rd gen was I went into the game unspoiled 😮 ( I didn’t know about serebi than!) so I basically went into 3rd gen blind and it was fun. It was awesome going into a game and not knowing what the pokemon evolved into or looked like XD I wish I could had done that for 4th-6th gen but the spoilers where too tempting :s but my fav pokes where Blaziken 😮 It was just assume and so strong plus I have a soft spot for fire types ( except Emboar :I) I also liked flygon cuz I was confused how a ground bug thing becomes a dragon @-@ I also thought electrike was a grass type XD cuz it was green and didn’t look like a electric type to me XD I also like Salamence cause I love dragon types and it was amazing and so cool. But I never got a chance to train one cause I had no idea where to find bagon and I was so sad ;-; The battle frontier was also fun. I also liked Milotic cause it was pretty but I had no idea how to evolve Feebas into it :I I tried everything( leveling up, happiness etc etc) but nothing worked ;-; and I still have that Level 100 Feebas in my PC Box XD

  24. I just wanna know how come so many people joined the Poke scene with Gen III, what attracted you to it? (Only ask this as I’ve been playing since Gen I)
