PJM Newsroom – End of the Year Edition

I apologise for the quietness. I have to study hard for my finals, and most of the remaining time is gobbled up by family needs. In the little that remains for me to go on the internet, I’m too exhausted to do anything. Due to that, work surrounding PJM has been on the back burner for a while. With the exams only ending February 9th, that isn’t going to change soon.

Due to this I will prolong the deadline for PJM 2014 Contest – Round Two by about a month. The original deadline was January 3rd, but seeing as I still haven’t received many submission, I figured out some of you must been busy too (or forgot). Seeing as I didn’t send any reminders, I might as well give anyone more time. I will put the new deadline at February 3rd 12.00 am UTC.

What this also mean for the magazine is that it will be pushed back a bit. Don’t worry, it’s still coming, but writing content and putting it together still takes a lot of time and effort. I can’t put a date on it, but rest assured it comes in 2014.

Seeing as it will feature an interview of both me and Pokejungle, you can mail us possible questions through [email protected]. I’m now back off studying! Keep the comments civil and don’t fall for upvote scams!

    • go to lumiose city, find the Le Wow resturant, put amulet coin on a leading pokemon, do a double team battle with your two strongest pokemon, and just before talking to the lady, activate your money o power and try doing it perfectly

  1. I think there should be a fairy type move that makes it night in the battle, considering the Fairy type has a lot to do with the moon. It would boost the power of Fairy, Ghost, and Dark type moves, and lower the power of Electric type moves.

  2. Guys what do you think is best for my team?
I want to center my team around a Wish Sylveon with a Rapid Spinner Blastoise. Should I keep Espeon to set up Light Screen and Trick Room? A Vaporeon to applaud my Blastoise’s Rain Dish ability? I’m not sure…

    • If you wanna applaud Rain dish, go with Damp Rock Drizzle politoed. Espeon should never set up trick room, as the thing is fast. Klefki sets up screens well, go with that

      • I was thinking of setting up Trick Room, Baton Passing out to Sylveon or any of the other really slow Eevee’s. Or just getting rid of Trick Room. Send out Esp and set up walls and if any hazards switch out to a Rapid Spinner Blastoise.

        • Sounds good. But, the in the time it takes you to baton pass, your opponent can predict and kill espeon, or set up. I’d go with bold, max speed and defense, Light screen/reflect/ Baton pass/ wish or psyshock.

  3. Got Piplup from WT and i must say, Chimchar and Piplup’s animations for X/Y are NOT the best. Too much swaying from side to side

  4. Is this a good blazekin set

max ev in attack and speed
    neutral nature
    holds focus sash

    moves

    blaze kick
    swords dance
    sky uppercut
    stone edge

    Ablity: speed boost

    • Neutral nature? as in HArdy/Serious/Docile/Quirky and such? Why? Jolly for off the chart speed, and Adamant for ridiculous power. Moves are good, but if SE misses, talonflame is gonn have a ball against this. and azumarill i think can take a +2 SE without a crit, so that’s another issue.
