Please Stand By. You Broke The eShop (And Bank)

Remember Pokémon Bank, the 3DS app that lets you transfer your old Pokémon to Pokémon X&Y? Well, it’s now released on the eShop! Wait, what’s that you say? The eShop is down? Pokémon Bank isn’t on the eShop? Ohh, I see now! Apparantly too many people bought a 3DS and Wii U as Christmas presents and the network went down from everyone wanting to download their system updates and digital games. Nintendo didn’t think the Wii U would actually sell, so I guess they took no preparations.

Luckily we’re all going to be paying $5 a year so we have reliable Bank servers, so Pokémon Bank should go live the moment the eShop goes back up, right? Nope. As the eShop servers went down, they took the online storage servers of Bank with them. Even if you had downloaded the game, it still wouldn’t work. So much for seperate, reliable servers. Just hope the $5 goes to development of RSE remakes instead of a new sportscar for each Gamefreak executive. Pokémon Bank has now got the tentative release date of To be determined which is not of much help. Still, I’d expect it in the next week or two, once the Christmas/New Year’s rush cools down.

Hope you all had a nice, exhausting Christmas, like I had! I also hope you don’t have to study like I do! I’m going to tackle Organic Chemistry for a while, see you soon. I also didn’t forget about PJM, an update will go live in the coming days.

  1. Pokemon Alpha and Omega
You, as any Pokemon trainer, start your
adventure after the defeat of team Flare in a new region. However, as
you continue your adventure, you encounter team Medius, an evil
organization whose goal is unknown at the moment. After you defeat the
sixth gym, the space around you shifted and every thing is not as you
remember. There are no gym leader, no police, no Pokemon center. People
are in poverty, and death and decay engulf the Earth. Only the rich,
Team Medius, rule. You seem to be the only person that retained the
memories. With the help of the local rebellion, you found out that Team
Medius, using the power of Serebii and Dialga, had traveled back in time
and changed history. Now, it’s up to you to stop them and restore order
to the world. In Alpha, you explore the beginning of world and stop
them in the past, in Omega, you explore the end of the world and stop
them in the future. Medius is latin for middle.

This is a bit late below, but do give it a read.

  2. I am intrigued as to what everyone actually thinks about this idea?

    Pokemon Order and Chaos
Region Based on Russia. Snowy Mountains, Volcanoes, Jungles. Nuclear Power Plants. Chernobyl (radioactive area can only be accessed when wearing a special suit. Allows certain Pokemon to evolve when leveled up in this area).
Team Theory try to take control of a legendary Pokemon responsible for natural Order (Poison/Psychic) or Chaos (Poison/Dark) (depending on the game), in order to try and take control of the Pokemon world. Both these legends are strongest when together, however are unstable and dangerous when alone. Are also stabilised via a special item called Neutraliser. It is hidden deep beneath Chernobyl and must be found in order to successfully catch the legends. Hence how the plot of the first game is thwarted.
Main base is in Chernobyl. Third legendary is the radioactive Posion/Steel Type, which also stabilises the other 2 legends. This is the plot for the sequels.
    99 New Pokemon
New modes of transport. Skate Board, Ice Skates. Skiis/Snowboard (down a couple of mountains). Swing via vines through the jungle. Pokemon jump out from trees
    Addition of Battle Frontier.
