A few weeks back we revealed our plans to launch a network wide tournament, mainly taking place on PokéJungle.net. We asked our readers to complete a quick survey regarding competitive battling and their skills and opinions on how we should hold our tournament.
Today we are pleased to announce that the tournament will begin in the coming weeks once all preparations are complete. However, we can’t start a tournament without competitors! As such we’re proud to open sign-ups for our tournament. The sign-up period will last for approximately 72 hours, after which we will close the submission platform, sort entrees and contact any unsuccessful sign-ups. Official tournament rules will be released in the coming days alongside finalised battle formats and more, so please stay tuned!
It is important that if you wish to take part, you fill the form below with correct information. If we believe the information you have provided is incorrect we will sadly have to disqualify you from the tournament. If you wish to back out of the tournament after signing up we will provide a form later for you to fill out, it’s likely back outs will have to count as a forfeit. As always if you have and questions of queries please feel free to contact us or chat with us in the comments or site chat!

I have a question: I my OPponent has only 1 pokemon and I’m winning while having all 6 of mine, then suddenly, my internet goes down, would that count as a loss for me?
If it was against me, I would ask for a rematch. I think that would be the fairest way

Leichi berry will increase your attack when consumed, so its an incredibly viable strategy XD

It probably won’t OHKO so you should probably switch into something quite specially defensive IMO
If you switch it in, it gets hit by a super effective hydro pump.

I got a shiny Sandslash last night in a trade. It’s awesome looking, but I was curious if anyone wanted it. I can’t nicknamed it, which is a huge disappointment. It bothers me to have Pokemon that aren’t nicknamed. So I’ll even take a shiny slash that can be nicknamed. Yup. OCD.

Breeding another Greninja and thinking of using spikes in the standard sp.attack/speed EV spread. Is that ok or should some EVs go to HP?
Klefki is the better Spiker IMO. It can guarantee 2 layers

In most situations yes. With solid rock and my bulk EV’s, the only moves I need to worry about are water and grass

I had that same trouble with Acid Armor Goomy: Muk–>Shellos–>Skrelp–>Goomy. Luckily, the Shellos I got from a WT from South Korea already had Acid Armor.

It’s way easier this gen. First off get female of the pokemon you want egg moves with. Then check the Pokemon’s egg group on serebii or something. Any Pokémon with the same group will be able to breed down some of their level up moves. e.g, pinsir and heracross are in the same egg group. Say if I wanted the baby pinsir to have close combat, after heracross learns close combat, breed the heracross with pinsir and then you get a baby pinsir with close combat

They made things easier this gen! To start it off, get male Pokemon that has the desirable egg move, get female Pokemon that you want to have it. Breed!

How fast are you expecting to get what you want? The point is for grinding not to be immediate…
Some breedable moves are just too good pass up. Examples such as Drain Punch on Scrafty, or stealth rocks/leech seed on Ferrothorn.
