It has been recently discovered that if you now buy copies of Pokémon X & Y at a Walmart in the states, they will contain special serial codes. If you buy Pokemon X you’ll get a serial code to download a special Garchomp; if you get Y you’ll get one for a special Scizor. Both of these serial codes are one-time use only.
The details of these event Pokemon as well as how long this promotion lasts hasn’t been announced yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you guys updated!

Why wouldn’t it make sense? Dogs make barking and whining and howling noises. How is that different? They are just noises. There’s no guarantee Pokemon say their names…they may have been named after what they say.

People argue that a fictional world doesn’t make sense. To me it is a fictional world, and thats why it doesn’t make sense.
It is like when people say movies are unrealistic. My honest reply is ‘it is a movie, that was made for entertainment, if you want realistic stay at home and watch Jeremy Kyle’
‘Speaking’ are just noises. The brain is capable of comprehending these ‘noises’ to have meanings. For example, ‘water’ is just comprised of noises made by our tongues. We have associated those noises into a string of noises to relate to a meaning…ie that clear wet stuff you can drink and bathe in. When you think of ‘words’ on that scale, not only is it terrifying, but makes a lot more sense.
It’s why dyslexic people (like me) have such trouble with word comprehension, among other things relating to languages like math. Language is just sounds.
Movies are completely unrealistic and yes are made for entertainment. You should read Cracked.com if you don’t, it’s hilarious. They taught me a lot about how faked movies are.
I know how the brain works to comprehend and then re-iterate the ‘noises’ it has heard. I also know of people that have defects in these areas. It is a highly interesting topic, as is anything associated with the brain (in my opinion).
I agree that to us, the clicking noises that a dolphin makes, or the bark of a dog are little more than sounds, and the sounds of an ‘animal’ (real or fake) shouldn’t annoy someone.

I have watched the first few episodes, and i have so far enjoyed them more than i did the first few episodes of BW. However after BW i have learnt to not get my hopes up.

I follow the anime via Serebii, however i don’t really watch all the episodes, just important ones, Gym battles, E4, Rivals, League e.t.c. Basically i watch it for the animation in battles. The story i followed up till the end of DP, and after that got put off it for some reason…

You could find one through Consecutive Fishing. They are rare so the chances of getting a shiny Dragonair and not a shiny Poliwhirl/Basculin are pretty low.
I tried that a few days ago :p
You should use Encounter Level 3 to speed up the process. I mean, it’s a Dragon safari, if you don’t get shiny Dragonair, you get something else equally awesome. (Like that time when I got shiny Druddigon, and later shiny Noibat,)
You can get one for free in W2

I recommend friend safari. Dragonair/Dratini are too rare to ensure the chance of shiny.

My first game was Pearl (don’t get into games until much later, but I’ve been with the anime since it’s started). Then I went back to FireRed, then onward from Platinum to X and Y. I decided to skip Hoenn because I want to wait for a remake.
I would be so furious if they came out before Hoenn. There’s not much to expand upon the story so I highly doubt it.
