A quick reminder that you have until Sunday 24th to send in your PJM applications! Go >>>>>>>>>HERE<<<<<<<<< and start emailing right away! I’ll email everyone coming Monday 25th, after which a post will be put explaining the second round. Don’t waste your chance and do it now! And if you email me before Saturday 23rd, you’ll receive not only one but two replies! (shipping costs not included)

In other news, we’ve been testing out some tournament software, and applications will be put out rather soon. We just need to find a good date. Stay tuned!

And in other, other news, there’s been not much of news! So, we would like to hear what you’ve been up to. Got any ideas for articles you’d like to see? Cool battles you’ve won in XY? Tell us in the comments! (note: bragging about shinies is a bannable offense until Dae catches a shiny himself. everyone who violates this rule will see him permabanned until he catches one. sarcasm is not a bannable offense whatsoever)

  3. I just posted my idea over on Mt Moon for their fan game going on. I hope they like it. I’ll post it here:

    it’ll be a new ability a Pokemon can have called “Darkness”.

    It has an effect that works in battle in a similar vein to Drizzle/Drought.

    What it will do is, when this Pokemon sends out in battle it makes the arena turn into a slightly darker light for 5 turns, causing the accuracy of moves to decrease by 5% (example Thunderbolt going from 100 to 95).

    -All Dark/Ghost type moves increase in accuracy by 100%.

    -Ghost Pokemon have their evasion increased a tiny bit

    -Dark pokemon have their attacks increased in power a tiny bit

    -Then there will be an attack like Sunny Day/Rain Dance called “Pitch Black” that can also turn the battlefield slightly dimmer if you don’t have a Pokemon with “Darkness” ability.

    -To clear the battlefield up, you will have to know the move “Flash” – so I can see Flash becoming a popular move on movesets.

    !! Then, there can be a Cockroach Pokemon.

    Since roaches are common in houses, they can be Zahrre regions common wild Pokemon (ala Rattata, Bidoof, Bunnelby).

    -The typing can be Bug/Dark

    -ability 1: Scatter (speed triples if hit with Flash)

    -ability 2: Swarm (power of bug moves increase when HP is low)

    -hidden ability: Persistency (HP increases a little every turn in Darkness)

    -Pokemon with the ability “Illuminate” clear up the battlefield when sent out. (Starmie!!!)

    -“Moonlight” heals 100% HP in darkness

    -“Protect” has no effect in darkness

    -“Nasty Plot” raises +3 in darkness

  21. What’s better EV training in hordes or supertraining?
    I feel as though i’ll get better stats in the long run with ST because i’m leveling with max EVs at level 1.
