Depends
On defense I know. But even if, I’m trying to get solar beam on two guys so if pyroar dies but sets up sunny day, I can still solar beam.
It mainly depends on who it’s up against. If it’s your lead and you have a favorable match up (i.e. an Ice-type, lead set-up Pokemon), you’d be able to set it up and get off a Solar Beam
