I have to finish super training my Smeargle, it knows Geomancy & Spore lol. Its gonna be such an annoyance to players.

Sketch copies the last move a Pokemon used permenantly. The whole point of smeargle is that using this it can know every single move in the game

it learns sketch one time, every 10 or so levels.
I teamed it with Xernias, went to some restaurants in Lumiose (double battles) and had it sketch its geomancy.
Then i raised Foongus to lvl 51, it learned spore. Then wash/rinse/repeat steps 1.
Then it keeps the moves forever?
yep. its like a painter. it sketches the move and learns how to use it forever.
its tricky cause it can only learn 1 sketch at a time.

well we got people “who stays up all night to get shinys”
I may have been informed wrong, but I had read the initial chances in finding shinies in XY are
1/4000+ regular wild
1/2000+ friend safari
1/640+ masuda method
if these are indeed true, its a vast improvement over the 1/8000 the other games had.
Now imagine how much chances improve once we get Shiny Charm for completing National Dex.
I had also read that in past games, your Trainer ID number helps determine how quick it is for them to pop up too and that “pyramid”, “repetitive’ numbers, ID’s that end with 8 or start with 6 have higher chances. I’m not sure if this applies to XY games as well.
All I know is that nothing is really set in stone unless Nintendo/Gamefreak comes out and states the encounters. These are all just calculations people conducted.
