Just a friendly reminder that the first episode of the English Dubbed Pokémon Origins has been released on Pokémon TV! The approximately two hour long special will be released in four parts – with Part One coming out today, Part Two on the 18th, Part Three on the 20th, and Part Four on the 22nd. You can watch this nostalgia-filled adventure through the Kanto Region on the Pokémon TV website as well as the mobile app!
For those who haven’t seen it, I HIGHLY recommend it; it’s everything you could want, hope, and dream for in a Pokémon anime. To put it simply, the special is pure undilluted fanservice for those who enjoyed RBY – It fast forwards through Red’s adventure in the Kanto Region without wasting a single second. The easter eggs and how the game meta is visible alone should be a reason to watch it!

It outspeeds mega gengar and mega alakazam and has a great attack stat. The only thing that annoys me is that it doesn’t get brave bird to work with tough claws/rock head

True lol it’s one of my favourite megas design wise, but taking competitive into account as well, I think mega kangaskhan and mega mawile are so op
you haven’t seen destruction until you’ve faced mega pinsir, aerilate boosts the moves it converts to flying and it also gets STAB from flying type moves, Quick Attack just became a whole lot scarier

I think it’s about time pinsir got out of heracross and scizor’s shadow. Mega evolution was the perfect way todo that
also Mega Banette can basically oneshot anything that isn’t too bulky with Phantom Force, it also gets Priority Destiny Bond, Will-o-Wisp, Thunder Wave, Confuse Ray, Taunt, Torment, the list goes on
I haven’t had the “pleasure” if facing a mega banette yet but from what I’ve heard, it’s a great attacker and troll lol
I use a Mega Mawile (For a short time though), Huge power from a 105 Atk stat is ridiculous, that is, only if it survives an attack from the OPponnent, Sucker Punch is unreliable and very predictable IMO
I can almost deal with the sucker punches, but it’s the added defences and play rough’s great coverage
For all I know, it doesnt affect EQ
I find it confusing. I think they mean its body shape being similar to original form because at the other line they mention how it turns into a rock while mega evolving.
In think it was a great way of justifying giving a Pokémon that’s meant to be extinct a mega evolution

bullet punch, U-turn, roost, swords dance. some people don’t like switching after getting in a swords dance, so x-scissor may be preferred. technician, trained in ATK, both defenses (concentrate mostly on sp.def, and maybe throw some hp in there)

I would replace U-turn with X-Scissor. Why would you U-turn after getting a +2 boost in attack?
the only reason one would use U-turn over x-scissor is because it bypasses magnet pull.
That’s good point but how many people have a well bred Magnezone? You can only breed with ditto. Plus Hidden Power Fire is nerfed, and no one is going to breed for that now.
I’ve got a Choice Band Scizor, Adamant nature, 252 Attack, 252 HP. Bullet Punch, U-turn, Pursuit, Aeriel Ace.
this set is actually pretty good. it really removes the need for swords dance, and in a way, the need for roost. I think I may go with this set from now on.
I’m not sure on the last move, but with no access to superpower at the moment, it does the job…and comes in handy occasionally.

i’ll be 100% honest with you, i just got the set off Smogon, but I am mainly using it to revenge kill fairies…U-Turn comes in handy if i need to switch out and keep momentum going…i.e if i predict a switch i can just U-Turn out..get some damage off and get a counter in

looking at spinda’s moves that it gets, it truly is a shame it has such bad stats, if it ever gets a mega evolution, it will surely be a beast

delcatty’s not that bad, its normalize ability makes it so it can paralyze ground types with thunderwave, or hit through other type immunities.

heal the team with heal bell, pass wish… it can do stuff.
Of course it can…. by why would you use Delcatty for that when there are much better options
especially when slurpuff, aromatisse, and florges are much better clerics with their usable defensive stats and access to aromatherapy, wish, and much stronger moves than delcatty
well, mainly because I like delcatty better. that’s the sole purpose of usiong one pokemon or another, because, ultimately, you like it better.
well, to be fair, delcatty does get cosmic power and baton pass now, but I don’t see any other reason you should use it over other pokemon (unless you just like to use this pokemon)
but its literally the same case as spinda, those are some really good egg moves
