Just a friendly reminder that the first episode of the English Dubbed Pokémon Origins has been released on Pokémon TV! The approximately two hour long special will be released in four parts – with Part One coming out today, Part Two on the 18th, Part Three on the 20th, and Part Four on the 22nd. You can watch this nostalgia-filled adventure through the Kanto Region on the Pokémon TV website as well as the mobile app!
For those who haven’t seen it, I HIGHLY recommend it; it’s everything you could want, hope, and dream for in a Pokémon anime. To put it simply, the special is pure undilluted fanservice for those who enjoyed RBY – It fast forwards through Red’s adventure in the Kanto Region without wasting a single second. The easter eggs and how the game meta is visible alone should be a reason to watch it!

I know for sure that Johnny Yong Bosch is Brock. It can’t be anyone else. I thought maybe Blue was too, but I’m not 100% sure. I can’t put my finger on Red though. Kind of sounds like the guy who plays Kirito on Sword Art Online.

… Yes. Because I was a 8/9 year old kid, and to be honest, I had absolutely no clue WHAT they were supposed to be at the time. At all. Had never heard of a Rice Ball, so yeah, my only thought was where the hell do you get Jelly Donuts that look like that.

In that case, i recommend forretress. It only has one weakness and can learn stealth rock, rapid spin and spikes. It also can learn volt switch

I thought them toning down the crying seemed a little appropriate. It was kind of a rough thing to listen too and it may not jive with some audiences outside of Japan. It really wasn’t all that bad of a censor though.
Although, considering that Pokemon: The Origin was made for the older target audience of the franchise, for the people that played the original Red and Blue (as the trailer said) I thought it made sense for it NOT to of been toned down
Well either way I didn’t see it as a huge deal. I actually found it more enjoyable and less cringe inducing, but that’s my opinion. lol

As far as I can tell, the first fight between Red and Green was censored when charmander screams but nothing too major

Just watch the Dub, and I must say as with the rest of Origins this is another thing that takes a dump on all 800+ episodes of the original Anime. So far great voices and I totaly had Red’s voice pegged.
I like how it actually showed the pokemon’s hp bar during battles.
