Plans for launching our first Official PokéJungle Tournament are moving along swiftly, and we’re steadily laying down ideas behind the scenes ready for a full summary and rules set soon. While the majority of the organisation for this tournament is down to us staff, we still want some key input from our readers and potential competitors. There’s a shiny hack exploit which I don’t know if it’s able to change the gender and all of that. But you get perfect IVs and guaranteed shininess.

I have terrible luck with breeding. I have a friend that gets the right egg after five or six tries.

meh… i like the excitement of obtaining a shiny correctly and not through some kind of exploit. Which seemingly takes just as long everywhere and probably not as safe. You trade someone the egg than have to trust that they trade you the shiny back? And then it’ll be a kick in the arse trying to find someone with your shiny value.
but its definitely tempting and at this stage, i’d do anything for a shiny noibat tbh lol

I have a couple of hacked ones, but just because I could do it at the time.
I have a bunch of RNG’d ones cause like you, I was able to do at the time. But finding them without the use of any device or program on XY is much more exciting and fun.
Gen 5 comes to mind….I honestly lost my love of shinies then cuz they were so common
it can’t change abilities.
Basically, you are given a “trainer value” when you begin the game, for ex. 1234. Every pokemon you run into or breed will be assigned a random “shiny value”. When your trainer value is the same as the shiny value, then that pokemon will be shiny.
All the exploit does is show you what your TV is, and what the SV is of your eggs, so if someone has an egg w/the same SV as your TV, they can give it to you to hatch a shiny (and then probably trade back)
Eh….I’d rather IV Breed….the (painful) but rewarding way….don’t really care much about shinies as much nowadays

Swift Swim Ludicolo is a huge threat if set up right. Protean Greninja is the way to go if you don’t want to have to set up.

Your best bet is to go to Frost Cavern and fight the Vanillite. You’ll be done in no time with Pokerus and you might even find a shiny!

Catch a Clawitzer with Super Rod outside Cyclage City and then go to move tutor and make it relearn Aura Sphere and Dragon Pulse then breed with a female squirtle

i went to smogen and clicked on this survey thing about the whole trading shiny values stuff and one of the questions was ‘what kind of shinies would you be willing to trade’ and one of the choices said ‘all except ugly shinies (like scizor, mamoswine,etc)’.
