I triumphed over hoenn with a bug team actually. I didn’t expect to get as far s I did, but I finished it! beautifly dustox, armaldo ninjask shedinja and volbeat was the team
if it helps, I started with chespin in x. and the runs ive done so far are :Normal (emerald) Bug (emerald) water (leafgreen)
I guess grass is the best choice
Since you started with chespin already, I’d go with fire. You’ve never done it before. 🙂
that’s what im thinking. ive never even chosen a fire starter before, and I really wanna save grass for white 2. so, I think delphox and maybe charizard are givens. any other suggestions?
I would do chespin because of the vast amount of grass types in the game. Be sure to pick up a roselia on route 7 🙂

the thing with mono runs is you gotta pick the type carefully. im pretty sure the first fairy you run into is flabebe, and nothing else until almost the second gym spritzee/slurpuff. (unless im mistaken) otherwise hell yeah id do that one! maybe in a future game 😀

Why do they have 2 of the worst offensive types as weakness? I mean the only viable attacks that hurt them are Flash cannon, Gyro Ball(lol), Sludge bomb

its because gamrfreak wanted to give people a reason to use steel and poison types. but what they fail to realize is that the type of the attack doesn’t make people use a certain type of pokemon. look at ice, its astounding offensively, but the wielder doesn’t need to be ice type!

I’m just saying yesterday I bred a 5 iv mareep and raised it to lv 100 in one day, so its not that hard to do, and you only get one tyranitarite per game, and one articuno per game so its a pretty ridiculous offer, and you shouldn’t expect someone to trade you a mega stone if you wouldn’t trade one in return, or else it wouldn’t be a fair trade

You can’t purchase just a 3ds capture card, you have to purchase a modded device or the matierals to mod a device

Yeah I found a couple days ago a site that still has them in demand, but with things like this its more you order it, than they mod the 3ds and it takes like 4-6 weeks, rather than with most things how you order a premade item that is shipped to you. This is just because its not a nintendo device and not being created in bulk, its made by private groups who buy the 3ds than mod it

Sadly i can’t afford a capture card myself as of yet due to me needing to get my computer repaired which is why i wish there’s was a 3ds emulator about now so everyone can do high quality 3ds lp and pokemon x and y wifi battle but its cam corder wifi battle for me into i get a capture card or if there’s a 3ds emulator
but that’s doesn’t stop me from uploading other high quality lp and stuff on my DRABAHAMUTGONGARAOS youtube gaming channel and being a youtube partner

Clawtizer can learn both and is in the water 1 egg group along with Squirtle.
I have a M. Blastoise with those moves. I used Clawitzer as well. Make sure you have two heart scales

You’re much better off using a Choice Band set with Aqua Jet. More Attack power without having to sacrifice all that HP.
I also agree. Ones with Mystic Water are probably 2nd best.
You have to use it very wisely. Never use it in the beginning of the match because there are too many counters
