The latest issue of CoroCoro has leaked, revealing the official Sugimori artwork for the remaining Mega Evolutions. No other news or new information was revealed, as expected. We’ll update the post with HQ scans once they become available!

  16. I am beyond angry. This guy puts FOUR of my guys to sleep, and never missed Hypnosis. He used Thunder, got the Paralysis, and used the Ice Beam and got the Freeze. WHAT.

I almost got into an argument over my atheism with my dad, threatened to send me to a shitty public school, ahh, establishment of religion, you divide society so much and disguise yourself with the illusion of good intentions when you’re one of the biggest reasons our society is so fucked up…..wait, what I say?

      • oh, I’m not that awesome, I just pick apart at the things people turn a blind eye to, like how many establishments of religion constantly try to denounce various scientific advances so they can keep the populous stupid enough to believe their horseshit, why do you think homosexuality being a choice or not is even a debate? science already discovered multiple probable theories to prove that not only is homosexuality natural, but its completely common in almost every species we know of, plus many credible scientists have already come to the conclusion that even if a god existed, it would be deistic (does not interact with the world directly)

          • sadly, being public about atheism in any way, shape, or form is considered political and social suicide, religion is so burrowed into the USA and even the world that not believing in religion seems jarring to people, hopefully peoples’ outlook will change as time goes by

          • yeah, well I guess any society can’t be perfect, and we certainly aren’t showing any hope for improvement as even the government now is becoming a big joke on the internet, I swear, the Tea-Party or at the very least Ted Cruz and The Koch Brothers should be considered US terrorists

        • I’m Christian myself, however I’ve found that a lot of “Christians” I’ve met are hypocrites that use their beliefs to judge other people themselves. Religion really has gone to crap. It used as an excuse in some cases.

          • I’m one of the most controversial people being gay and Christian and I can’t even come out down where I live because I’m not accepted in society by most.

          • I feel really bad for folks like you that can’t be themselves because of others, not to insult you in anyway, but I really do consider Christian and gay as oxymorons considering how many times homosexuality is condemned in the bible, then again a lot of crazy bullshit is condemned in the bible like eating pork or wearing clothes of two different fabrics

          • Actually, if read thoroughly, it’s not condemned for the act itself. It’s the way the acts were presented. Usually with pagan practices and false gods; Romans and such. The Bible seems to contradict itself a lot because of specific verses. I’ve thoroughly studied a lot of these passages for when I do come out…

          • yeah, condemnation of homosexuality was pretty ambiguous in the bible, thats one of my biggest complaints with it, if god was omnipotent, omnipresent and all-knowing, then wouldn’t he make sure his texts weren’t so lost in translation and taken out of context, if he was all-knowing, wouldn’t he realize being so broad in his passages would lead to disagreement and distress, it just sorta falls in on itself for me

          • I’m not the only one who thinks it’s been lost in translation… Good. So many different version of the book go around, I’ve come to the conclusion that no one TRULY knows what it says anymore. And with so many denominations out there, it’s obvious that none of them follow it completely. They either add to it or take what they want from it. It’s become one big head ache for the community as a whole. I claim nondenomination because of most churches being against gays. You have to wonder why they would be against a certain group of people instead of the ones with tattoos and piercings when that’s also in the bible. It’s insane now and I’ve gotten to the point I don’t even enjoy going to church because we are always being begged for money.

          • i’m always bugged by churches constantly asking for money, sons of bitches already don’t have to pay taxes, anyways, another thing I really don’t like is how many Christians are fundamentalists, sigh, fundamentalists are some of the most ignorant fucking people I’ve ever seen, some of them like Bryan Fischer think that gay activists are nazis of freedom of speech and religion, now even aside from the fact that nazis killed gays too, this is one of the most outrageous claims I’ve ever heard, I also really, really, really, hate when fundamentalist Christians act like if something gets legalized EVERYONE MUST DO IT, last time I checked, no gay or pro-choice activist ever forced you to marry the same sex or have an abortion

          • Abortion is a topic that can be either good or bad, but I can see what you’re getting at. They’ve been asking the congregation to give an extra $100 dollars because God told them to. It’s a majority of old people… None of this money is going towards charity or anything. It’s going to a new building… They just built a daycare that wasn’t really needed and we probably could’ve built I nice new main church with the money. Logic…

          • yeah, I don’t buy into that charity bullshit, the thing about abortion is that while no one wants to have one, women need the option, they might’ve been raped, they might not have enough money to support the child or they could die from giving birth

          • Those are the exact reasons and the only reasons we should have abortion. The thing about it that gets me is when it’s abused and the girl just doesn’t want her boyfriend to find out and kills a perfectly healthy child. That’s what I think should be illegal.

          • The money issue though, I think the girl should just put the child up for adoption. But then you get into gay adoption. The country is a never ending predicament and it’s ridiculous. Land of the Free my ass.

          • There are so many different versions and additions to it (i think 60 total, can’t remember where i heard taht so don’t quote me on it) with about 40 authors total over 500 or so years (again, no quoting) with all of them (damn near anyway) saying they have personal accounts of being in the presence of the fucker so….what the hell?

          • It really is. I’ve been threatened to be kicked out of my house if I came out as gay (ironic huh). This nation itself has gone to crap. I’ve got a feeling if we keep Obama in office as well we’re all going to be nuked by Iran. He’s already trying to turn us communist.

          • People against homosexuality piss me off. I’m not gay, but why should I worry about someone else’s sexual attraction? How does that affect me in any way? There are bigger problems in the world than if someone likes a man or a woman, which shouldn’t even be a problem, we’re all wired differently, genetics or whatever xD

          • Very true. It’s not like anything can be done about it anyway. Here in Mississippi, if you say you support it, you’re automatically practically socially unacceptable. Oh you like that music? You’re gay. You like show choir? You’re gay. Yes. Show choir is totally gay since I’m backstage with naked girls and you’re in a shower room full of hormonal guys.

          • I live in one of those areas where kids and teens throw gay around like an insult, it bugs me to no goddamn end, also you can’t file for discrimination in the state I live if you were discriminated for being atheist

          • It is like that down here too. Only we don’t have atheists. Mostly college professors or instructors from other states are though.

          • Yeah. Unfortunately. It’s a shame too… Southern guys can be cute. (Usually) but most are dicks and douche bags. Our choreography from Minnesota got tired of being insulted for being a northerner and gay that he said that he would never teach our group again

          • A lot of the guys I know here are also dicks and douchebags except they try way too hard to sound thugish, the only people I know personally that are gay are my aunts, sorry to hear that about your choreographer, I’m in one of the schools that if you even make the slightest hint of being gay, you will be persecuted by the kids

          • I hate how people are about it in Louisiana too. I’m not gay myself (honestly, struggling internally trying to sort myself out), but I do support as much as I can. It really gets on my nerves to think what my best friend has to go through since he is and since he’s a brother to me…yeah it just makes it that much worse. Why can’t people pull their heads out of their asses?

    • I don’t care what anyone else believes. I follow my religion, that’s all I care about. We can believe whatever we want. Not gonna think differently of you if you believe in a God or not.

          • You should never feel bad! You need to see some of my bad matches…..like I got 6-0 ed. But I tried to learn from my mistakes. But did you see a bit of my strategy? A bit different right? I focus more on defense than offense xD

          • And my offensive oriented Pokemon can’t even do anything to the defense oriented. I mean, Espeon got off 2 Calm Minds in that first battle, and it did practically nothing to Tyranitar with Dazzling Gleam =/

          • I’ll give you a tip: Use Saikou a bit more for it’s ability. The only
            reason I never used spikes with Chesnaught or Tyrantitar in the
            beginning was because I was trying to see how you would think before laying hazards. As you could have easily bounced them back and I have no rapid spinner. I had to pay close attention to your Saikou….then I used stealth rock late game.

          • And I was so close to switching into Saikou when you Had Tyranitar out against Lapras. But then I remembered Pursuit, so Saikou would be a goner. Then I had Mega Mawile against Arcanine, and I didn’t know if you’d try for the Burn again or Switch out. I was gonna switch to Talonflame to eat up the Burn, but then I thought that wouldn’t really help at all, Extreme Speed would probably knock me out anyways next turn.

          • With Saikou….play more riskily but not too risky. Tyrantar’s biggest threat believe it or not is chesnaught as it resists everyting. Oh my team’s biggest weakness is pure stall with toxic/toxic spikes xD. My team is strong against offensive teams.

          • Well I definitely know your team is strong against offensive teams xD And that’s why I’ll never beat you 😛 I love my Pokemon and don’t want to train others just to try and beat you 🙂

          • You don’t need to change your team xD Just add a few sneaky moves in there that my team hates….for example give Chesnaught toxic or Lapras Rest xD

          • I just wish I could make my Chestnut have its Hidden Ability :'( Your Chespin is so tempting to train, but I love my first Chespin =/ #PokeProblems

          • I’m considering giving Chestnut Weakness Policy. It has the bulk to survive a Super Effective hit, and might be able to hopefully open up a can of whoop ass on that one Pokemon. If only it had a priority move.

          • Hmmm….I haven’t tried that before. I was thinking something like Red Card, but that needs some spikes or stealth rock support.

          • If a pokemon attacks you it is automatically removed from the battle and swapped by another pokemon. Basically like roar!

          • Attacking pokemon, but it’s one time. You could also try eject button as you could safely bring in something that theatens the opponent!

          • eject button is extremly good for hyper offensive teams that have pokemon with riduculously high attack but terrible defenses so they are tough to switch-in

          • Hmm. One last question. Well two, actually. How exactly does Encore work? Do it only work on the move the Pokemon used beforehand? Or whatever move the Pokemon is about to use, it’ll have to keep using that move? Same thing with Taunt, what if they’re using a status move that turn, but before they did, you used Taunt. Do they then become incapable of using the status move that turn? Or do they still get it off and the Taunt is applied next turn?

            And what moveset would you recommend for a Garchomp? I’m thinking Dragon Rush (No Outrage yet until Tutors, and I don’t wanna breed), Earthquake, Fire Fang, and Poison Jab, with the Choice Band.

          • Encore works on the move the pokemon used before encore is used. It lasts 3 turns. Taunt prevents any status move from being used for 3 turns. If you use it right before your opponent then their status move is prevented and for 3 more turns.

            Hmmm Garchomp. I personally like Substitute Dragon Claw/Outrage Earthquake Swords Dance. And just have the rest of you team handle togekiss. Life orb also works but with Poison Jab instead of Substitute.

            Hmm you could try Lum Berry on the one without substitute. Or sitrus berry on the one with substitute
