Dae asks: How addicted are you?

You can’t hide it from me anymore. XY have been out for several weeks. It’s time to boot up the 3DS activity log and show the real playtime you’ve got.

Surprised? Or is it manageable? Do you dare to post it here? I really hope you do. Or else this post was completely worthless :(.

Anyway, I’ve been really busy busy with studying and life and stuff and I’m feeling a creative block for writing my review. I hope that will get better once I finally get some good sleep. See you soon, with (hopefully) my review!

    • Depends on what your Pokemon relies on. For example, a Greninja doesn’t mind too much if he’s got negatives in attack, defence or special defence as long as either his special attack or speed are boosted. So I would say definitely breed for a Good nature, but perfect isn’t essential. If you have the patience it’s definitely advisable though. Just get an everstone and find something with the nature you want.

  2. Still need that ability capsule guys, let me know if you have one. I don’t care if it takes you a while to get it, I just don’t enjoy fighting endless Maison battles. I need it before 6pm GMT tomorrow but that’s it.

  3. Now that I think about it why did pokemon mystery dungeon gates to infinity catch so much flack? I liked its storyline, The graphics were great, but the only thing thatI didn’t like was how it didn’t do that personality test thing in the beginning, and they just made you pick. I loved its soundtrack, Withered savanna was my fave: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAyAw8BziFQ

    • Honestly, it didn’t drag me in as much as the other two did.. and I’m a giant PMD fans. I guess, to me, it felt like the beginning was very slow. Like, text, movement, transitions, and story wise, it’s very very slow and then I get pretty confused of where I’m suppose to go or how many more missions I have to do. I wish the dungeons weren’t as long feeling as it is, cause then it makes me not want to do missions like I usually would be ok with.
And, really, the character choice list.. just.. huge sadness to me :c went from a medium list.. to a big list.. to a biiggger list [in sky] .. thennn 5 characters..? I don’t really like Unova’s starters enough to be them, and nor did the person I tried basing my partner on, so it was a little harder to connect to them as well.

However, I know I have to try beating the game one day to fully judge it. I’m sure the music and real, deep storyline is going to be amazing. I just wish they had more stuff to convince me into getting to that point.

    • ive only ever played 2 PMD games, and quite honestly I just felt that i’d rather have been playing the main series. to me it just felt like less. I mean, the stories were more in depth, sure, but the battle system was just… bland. for me, at least, or maybe I just don’t understand it, or they improved upon it later?

      • The plot man, the plot is the single thing that makes Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time the beautifully crafted game it is. Red Rescue Team has a brilliant plot too, but for me, EOT’s plot is the best. I still cry and get chills every time I replay it, I just love it so much. The battle system is also a lot of fun, and I really loved exploring dungeons too. Those were just the icing on the cake of the Plot. Hands down, EOT is my favourite videogame ever.

      • I like because why I like all other spin off games: They’re challenging, and they have a lot of puzzles. Not may people like that though

  4. Is anyone else dissipointed with their friend safari? I have a Rock one with Shuckle, Pupitar, and Dwebble. Meanwhile, my brother has Phantump, Spiritomb, Shuppet. And the irony is, Pupitar is Y exclusive, and I have X

  5. I leave for twenty minutes and this place turns into a Music Battleground! Don’t make me send in my Natu Army to smack yo asses with Verdanturf Town.

      • Trust me, they will. They can’t backtrack and lose all of the progress they have made. For example, making TMs unlimited in BW/B2W2 and then making them limited in X & Y.
