Want to have your own article featured in Pokéjungle Magazine and win a printed copy? Now’s your chance! We’re doing a contest a few months in advance so everyone has the time to write their articles and we have time to rate them all. How does this work? Well…
General Info
The contest consists of two rounds. Everyone can enter in the first round. We’ll then evaluate everyone and will send back mails to those who passed into the second round. After the second round one winner will be chosen and announced in advance of the magazine’s publication. His/her article will remain a ‘secret’ to the rest however. He’ll then have to manually mail (the paper kind) a letter we’ll send him/her granting us permission to publish the article. Stamps will be reimbursed from the ‘PJM Fund’. The winner will receive a printed copy of the magazine mailed to him by normal postage as a compensation!
Requirements
There are no hard requirements except for having a knack at good and creative writing. Your English doesn’t need to be perfect, as we’ll edit out the kinks together if you happen to win. A sense for punctuation and logically sounding sentences are a plus though. There are no age requirements, you can live anywhere you want and you don’t even need to own XY!
Round One
In round one you will have to write a short bio introducing yourself and a not-too-long article (more than five sentences but less than a full page) about anything you want as long as it is Pokémon related. Be sure to provide us with your Disqus name and an email which we can use to get back to you. Your real name and other personal details are not necessary (although keep in mind that when you win we need your home address to send the magazine to).
Round Two
Round Two details will be sent to you once you pass round one, but it’ll mainly consist of writing a two-page article you want to see featured in the magazine. I’ll have more to share once we near December.

I am the Pokémon Warrior. My journey has been going on for at least fifteen years now, since the dawn of my fifth birthday when I received that fateful Charmander from Professor Oak. swords dance, hopefully he has 1 IV in both defenses (hell a nature to increase atk and decrease def r sp.def would probably be better) andand 1 IV in HP so that focus sash will trigger and if not, hes pretty speedy anyways so against slower pokemon it still is sorta a win. if they set up he can encore. swords dance on switch…. im liking this so far! does he learn mach punch though? even if you are fast, priority is important

So I have a theory for the huge amount of shinies appearing in Friend Safari. I think the shiny encounter rate maybe influenced by how “Stylish” you are. Like the more stylish you are, the more likely you’ll find a shiny. Tipping helps your style i believe and Heavymetallamb is getting really lucky with all these shinies and they tip 1000s all the time. Plausible?

if its anything like the power items, then one will activate at random… bt its not a power item, so I cant say. I know you can force one stat with a power item, which also passes 2 other stats from the parents, and have the other parent hold destiny knot to pass down 5 more stats. doesn’t help with nature though

yes, it garantees the corresponding stat from the parent holding it, along with 2 stats from either parent chosen at random. it can be very handy, but you can only use 1 power item while breeding.

yeah. but the destiny knot has a higher chance of passing the stats you need. you can have ditto hold the bracer and meditate hold destiny knot, and have luck decide the nature

speaking of rage quit, I remember back when I first started battling in the diamond and pearl era with my first team, a mono normal team. I made a guy rage quit because spinda owned him.
I gotta see this Spinda of yours in action when December comes
nope spinda didn’t make the cut again this gen. but he had a thick club marowak, he tried to, for some reason make it use 3 swords dance, and in the mean time, I got off teeter dance, attract, AND body slam paralyze. I proceeded to sucker punch, and he killed himself in one shot from confusion. he rage quitted after a similar situation happened twice more.

off topicness ahoy, just got done watching steven universe, 4 words, PRETTIEST FUCKING SHOW EVER
What’s it about?
It’s like a mixture of real life but with a fantasy threat against humanity
Takes place in a coastal town called Beach City, Steven is a part of the crystal gems, a group of super beings who are all female except for steven, they are the heroes of the universe , the three crystal gems, garnet, amethyst, and pearl look after steven and help him try to master his gem’s power. Garnet is a calm, cool and collected motherlike character. Pearl is very serious and doesn’t like childishness but won’t let it get in the way of taking care of steven. Amethyst is an easy-going party girl who likes to eat food, she likes to hang out with steven. steven is a very energetic and innocent kid, he aspires to become a true gem like the others, he also enjoys music a lot
