I need your help with my competitive team. I got an idea of what my team will look like thanks to regidudeam and I have already started training. I just need some more ideas to perfect my team. Who’s better at that than you so will you help me?

So I’m thinking of Mega Mawile, Blissey, Garchomp, Chandelure, Azumarill, and Aggron/Skarmory. Thanks goes out to regidudeam for the help with the team. I’m just not sure of it the more I battle online. There’s a ton of people with Gengar and they’re fast. I’m stuck between Blaziken, Chandelure, and Gengar for my team. Then there’s that Talonflame which I need a counter for. Competitive battling is so competitive and full of strategies! Help me :p
Blaziken would be an awesome choice. EV train it in Attack and Speed. Teach it Protect so it gets an automatic Speed Boost on the first turn. I’m going to assume you’re aiming for an Azumarill with Huge Power? If so, gotta teach it Aqua Jet. There’s your potential counter for Talonflame, because it’s unlikely Talonflame can OHKO Azumarill.
Talonflame with Choice Band could possibly OHKO, but Azumaril will typically OHKO with Aqua Jet.

I’m unsure if my Talonflame will OHKO an Azumarill. It doesn’t hold a Choice Band, and I’m not revealing what it holds 😛 If you want a surefire counter to take out Talonflame, go with Aggron or Tyranitar. Garchomp could do it too with Stone Edge and bulk to withstand Talonflame’s attack.

You’re not allowed to use Greninja, you’re a Chespinator! Haha, but seriously, if you’re gonna go Greninja Protean, I’d get rid of Gengar. Speed for speed. And Greninja has more options available with Protean.
As for EV training:
Blaziken: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Blissey: 252 Defense, 252 Special Defense, 4 HP
Mawile: 252 HP, 252 Attack, 4 Special Defense
Greninja…I’d ask regi about this honestly.
Garchomp: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Azumarill: 252 HP, 252 Attack, 4 Speed

Oh, countering it is easy. I’ve been paralyzing it, but get something with Mach Punch and it’s a dead duck. Technician Breloom, for example, LAUGHS at Greninja.

I’m staying loyal to my team though, I also have half of the team ready to be trained so I’m not going to start over now. You’re my strategy/strength tester. If I lose to you my team is not fit for the beautiful alternate universe called competitive battling.

How do you do that?
When the battle ends there is an option to save the battle video. Click yes and it will save it. Go to the VS recorder in your key items and upload it. Then there will be a code and that’s how you share it 🙂

You could use Chesnaught.
I want Tyranitar as more of a support pokemon.. Chesnaught is a strong possibility with its bulk and power. Any other recommendations?

Espeon and Tyranitar for support, correct? Azumarill might be a possibility too. Funny how I am the SUPER EFFECTIVE KO NOW Pokemon Trainer, and yet I’m having a tough time choosing a support poke.. XD
You could use Espeon for support. I’m more offensive minded with Espeon, so I’d go with Magic Bounce ability to get rid of hazards, but also have it be an offensive threat rather than setting up screens.

Finally got a decent number of pokes bred… I’ve got a lot if EV trading to do, and this is the worst week for it. Where has everyone been leveling up at? I can’t get any decent exp anywhere.
E4 is probably the best place but people have been trying trevenant hordes. I have someone with an audino and chansey friend safari perfect for exp grind
I’ve only ran into a few hordes; none of which were Trevenant…the audino and chansey experience grinding is a good idea. I’ll have to see if I have someone with those.
