More new Pokémon…?
Currently there are several Mega Stones that have been found, but the Pokémon has not: Druddigon, Heracross, and Galvantula. Profilic Pokémon Black & White leaker “Hiro” also said that Scizor would be getting one too. A legendary trio could also surface in Kalos as well as unseen downloadable Legendaries.
What do you think? Are you OK with the smaller number of “new” Pokémon? Do you like the concept of Mega Evolutions and their role in battles?

I hate it when someone hates on a generation…i truly believe each generation brought something special to the games and yes some are better but each one had its strong points!
Gen 1: The Pokemon
Gen 2: Post Game
Gen 3: The Region
Gen 4: Metagame (It really made it with Wi-Fi)
Gen 5: Story
Gen 6: Graphics
I think are what really shone in each generation but there was soooo much more!

I agree with pretty much everything. Gen 1 the Pokemon were great + nostalgia.
Gen 2; a bit of everything but post game was definetly it’s shining light.
Gen 3: Region without a doubt the best ever. Also Battle Frontier.
Gen 4: WI-FI and just a good progression in the series.
Gen 5: Story and characters were great in this game.
Gen 6: ……
Thanks! Gen 6 i put down Graphics simply from what we have seen it will always be remembered for the drastic change to 3D models. Plus from what i’ve heard of the new orchestral music that too…complete revamp of how the games used to be and so far its been great.

Starter, Fletchling, Scatterbug line, Bunnelby definitely.
Also Caterpie line, Weedle line, Pikachu, Pidgey, and Spearow…I think. Saw it in a gamplay vid that was taken down…
The question was what NEW pokemon could be found but you are absolutely right they are all catchable before Gym 1 but they are old pokemon.

I’m happy they are veering away from dragon type legendaries in x and y. I mean, black and white had dragon types and they were really boring to look at. Even though z legendary is an snake, they made it look awesome. They are my favorite legendary pokemon since ruby and sapphire!

Oh I agree so much here. I hated the constant over use of the Dragon theme. Granted it was only two generation in a row (I’m not counting gen 3 as they only had one). It’s nice to have a change and the XY legendaries are the best we’ve had since Ho-oh and Lugia IMO and I’m a big fan of Hoenn so that’s saying a lot!
100% agree. The legendary Dragon Trio’s were getting a bit dull. Good that they changed it up a bit. Hope they continue like this. If i don’t see another dragon trio for the next few gens it will be too soon….

I really like the design and I’ll use it as long as possible so I don’t want to end up with an ugly pattern XD

Yes but that could have been a discolouration in the screenshot so until someone actually finds it in game or its officially revealed then we can’t confirm or deny it exists.
Hmm interesting havent seen garden pattern, yet. Im kind of hoping for a brown and orange autumn pattern or soemthing similiar. Either that or a yellow pattern looking like a brimstone butterfly.

I wasn’t expecting much. It’s good to see that I was proved wrong. That was a nice commercial. I feel like it’s kinda odd to see Charmander as the guy’s main Pokemon, but I guess it makes sense because of Mega Evolutions and them not wanting to spoiler the starters’ final forms ;P

Actually, game freak said that they wouldn’t have any future updates to change the balance of the games! Meaning they aren’t going to change any of the mechanics or anyone’s typing within update. They have yet to say a single word on whether or not there will be dlc. There most likely will be because mystery gift is pretty much pokemons dlc

Maybe the leakers can’t evolve the old pokemon because there are some they need to be traded to evolve, or there is some weird task you have to do to evolve it. They have no guide to tell them anything, why do we trust them like they’re gamefreak?

The only sad thing about the lack of new Pokemon in the game is the lack of certain types… most types only have 2 or 3 pokemon each.
I KNOW RIGHT, I didn’t really care about how much new pokemon I just saw there would be only 2-3 pokemon each type. I was really hoping for a bug type other than the beginning bug.
Im just disappointed by the lack of water types… normally there are loads and rightly so considering how much water is in the world.
I think they are using this Gen to add and upgrade a few things, such as usefulness for Poison and Steel. They may not have a lot of water types because there are already so many and we don’t need to go overboard with water types.
One can never have enough Water types hahaha I WANT MY DOLPHIN POKEMON 🙁

Max friendship on pokemon amie.
You have to Max out its Affection in Pokemon Amie which is different than the friendship stat. Once maxed out you level up and it will evolve 😀

Yes but you can only mega evolve 1 per battle.

Ups sry^^ Damn laptop. At the moment the best guess is that it is region based. If you evolve your Vivillon in a flower fiel it will be the pink version in grass it will be garden pattern and in snow polar pattern.
