More new Pokémon…?
Currently there are several Mega Stones that have been found, but the Pokémon has not: Druddigon, Heracross, and Galvantula. Profilic Pokémon Black & White leaker “Hiro” also said that Scizor would be getting one too. A legendary trio could also surface in Kalos as well as unseen downloadable Legendaries.
What do you think? Are you OK with the smaller number of “new” Pokémon? Do you like the concept of Mega Evolutions and their role in battles?

Oh God… Why not a Mega Raichu? It’s expected for Ash’s main pokemon to get a mega though…
They need both, and they should make Pikachu a Special Attacker and Raichu a Physical one.
Hmmm I suspect 2 things: Pokemon Yellow the remake, OR Mega Pikachu? Or a Pikachu retype?
If they would have retyped him, they would have done that in XY… I suspect Mega…
But I’d love a Yellow Remake.

I suspect so as well seeing IF gen 3 got remakes, we would then see a remake OR a sequel to the Gen 1 games as well lol I still hope we get a RS remake and a Yellow remake!
GSC were supposed to be sequels originally. I just wish they would release the original Red Blue and Yellow versions on the eShop. With upgrades to work with the 3DS’ wireless features for trade and such of course.

It’s just referring to the gemstones for wedding anniversaries. It’s a legit traditional gift to give rubies or sapphires on those specific anniversaries, and that NPC looks to be wearing a wedding dress so she either just got married or is going to renew her vows. Just gotta find a reason to suspect those remakes don’tcha?

Could be her 40th or 45th anniversary. Doesn’t necessarily have to be a hint at Hoenn but die hard RSE fans just want those references to be that, hints.

Technically Pokemon that can evolve through evolutionary stones are considered to be fully evolved so a Mega Pikachu can be possible.

Mega Pikachu
Retyping
Pokemon Yellow remake
RS remakes (not sure what exactly that has to do with Pikachu but yeah)
Possible split evolution
Pikachu is one of the first pokemon you can obtain in the game
Here are my teams:
Pokemon X: Chesnaught, Talonflame, Aurorus, Malamar, Dragalge and Heliolisk.
Pokemon Y: Greninja, Pyroar (F), Tyrantrum, Hawlucha, Trevenant and Sylveon.
Pokemon Z (if it happens): Delphox, Barbaracle, Noivern, Pangoro, Gogoat and Aegislash.
Those are pretty balanced teams, you have a lot of type coverage on your hands too. 12 in X, 11 in Y and the possible Z!
That’s what I was going for and it really helps that they made plenty dual types for the number of new Pokemon we get this gen. And I really just want to use new Pokemon on my teams.
Pokemon Y: Geninja, Talonflame, Meowstick, Goodra, Gourgiest,
Nice team, I really love Goodra, I wish it had Poison as a second type though. I wonder if some of the Pokemon for this gen were set up for Mega next gen, like Goodra, Hawlucha and Florges in my opinion.

I would LOVE a Hoenn remake
Honestly, I would love a completely, and I mean completely new game, with new gym leaders, elite four, villains (or an evolution of the Magma/Aqua teams, plus a grass team), a few new pokemon, new evolutions regular/mega for gen 3 pokemon, and subtle changes over time in the various areas of the region we have all come to love. They should really make a SUBSTANTIVE remake with a mix of nostalgia and new adventure.
Like BW2 with more changes. Further in the past or future.

The part about New Pokemon is so right on. I wish that everytime they remake an older gen they add a couple of new Pokemon that have only so far been found in that Gen’s region. Like if they’d made Heart Soul and Soul Silver with their own Fossil Pokemon for that region.
There are like uninhabited island in south of Hoenn i dun get why gamfreak is not using it <_<
Think about it this way though, would you really want to have to deal with Team Aqua/Magma and their same, in my opinion, boring plans? It would get pretty old and it kind of amazes me that no one that wants remakes has thought of that as far as I know. I would much rather see sequels of the 3rd gen games because the Hoenn games were a bit bland aside from the Pokemon.
I would love to go to Hoenn. I would hate to deal with that story line

I’m worried!!! I spent so much time breeding my Lucario so that it would have Hidden POwer Ice and i’m not going to be pleased if the entire system just shifts for some odd reason. I wouldn’t mind if they made it like a property of the Pokemon that is randomly generated and the ones from older gens already have their’s determined
I avoid hidden power because the typing and ev think for a specific type makes no sense to me…

EVs are so easy cause you control them after they hatch. You’re thinking of IVs. IVs are what they should have made trainable in this gen cause they’re random and can never be improved. It’s pretty hard to get a lot of perfect IVs but with practice you can get at least two pretty easily.
I actually know the way to control them kinda. It’s based off of the characteristics. I maxed out bastiodon’s defense and almost my swampert’s attack by getting perfect ones.
I wish gamefreak would remove them entirely. It completely undermines Ash’s Philosophy of every Pokemon being good enough with sufficient training.
