More new Pokémon…?
Currently there are several Mega Stones that have been found, but the Pokémon has not: Druddigon, Heracross, and Galvantula. Profilic Pokémon Black & White leaker “Hiro” also said that Scizor would be getting one too. A legendary trio could also surface in Kalos as well as unseen downloadable Legendaries.
What do you think? Are you OK with the smaller number of “new” Pokémon? Do you like the concept of Mega Evolutions and their role in battles?

Did anyone see what it said on serebii?
“It has been announced that within the show “The Professional” on Japanese channel NHK, there will be an episode featuring Tsunekaz Ishihara, the CEO of The Pokémon Company on October 28th. In it, it states that he was working on a game in the summer that is said to boldly tweak the Pikachu character. It’s not currently known whether this is referring to Pokémon X & Y or a completely new game, but we’ll provide details as and when we get them.”
What do guys think this is?
I think pikachu will have another form! Not a mega form, but a new form that will drastically change its appearance.

I’m actually okay with how Shauna will give you her starter, because I’d rather have a fighter like froakie rather than that ugly snooty stuck-up Fenniken. Its evolution LITERALLY has a stick up its ass. (I would laugh so hard if that’s what gamefreak was actually shooting for!) Like, look at its face. It’s making fun of me. #srrynotsrry #2manyhastags4u #protectiveteamchespin. But in all seriously, I don’t understand why shauna would surrender her pokemon? What do you guys think?
I think it’s a Fennekin she hatched, not her own personally evolved Delphox.
Maybe that because they already had your rival give you their fully evolved pokemon in heartgold/soulsilver.
They never did that…
when you battle clair and lance at that dragon palace in blackthorn city, he’ll give it to you.

I heard they were all supposed to have 530 base stats total. Oh and a “stick up the ass” means someone is strict and snooty. I have no idea where it originated from, all I know is what it means.

I’ve heard that Pokemon that can evolve through stones are considered to be fully evolved. Which means in the first gen Eevee would have been a fully evolved Pokemon however stones don’t truly evolve the Pokemon but change their genetic makeup meaning that they just change appearance. It isn’t a true evolution.

No Chansey is technically a true evolution, by stones I literally meant the evolutionary stones we all know like Thunder/Fire/Water/Leaf Stones as well as the ones introduced for 4th gen.
I am sure they are talking mega. I assume the change will apply to ash’s pikachu in the anime as well. Anything like a split evo or new typing would be odd. Though a temporary change, into a mega would seem more fitting.
mega would seem the oddest seeing as it breaks the rule, typing would be less offending seeing as it isnt anesthetic

I like that it’s a low amount of Pokemon but I thought it would coincide with more evolutions for old Pokemon, but I guess that’s the role Mega Evolutions play. Still some fantastic designs in Kalos. I’m going to sound really bad here but: is a Dolphin and a Peacock Pokemon so hard to create? And a Dark Gym. It’s been 5 generations so far lol. Thoughts?

(FAN NOTE, JUST RECITING IT)- No Dark gym (but we have FAIRY!)
(LARGEST CON)- 69 Pokemon (and NO poison types in X, nor any good Ground types or a nice Bug type line, not a Gen VI variety to choose from, mostly restricted to Gens I-V, which is fine, but would’ve been better with 100+ new Pokemon)
(NOT A CON, BUT SOMETHING TO NOTE)- Lack of creative badge names (not that bad, but BUG Badge for a BUG TYPE gym leader, and Fairy Badge for a FAIRY type gym leader– really?)

I’ll admit. I would PREFER more new pokemon as well. There are flaws in all pokemon games, and things to improve upon. I will play and love this game, especially with the new 3D models, however, as I said, the game would be even more enticing that it already is with that addition.
No dark gym, meh, it’s a minor detail, yeah, a bit annoying, but it’s not a huge deal to me. But, I agree with the number and variety of new pokemon. That is the centerpiece of new games. Maybe around 100, new pokemon lines would have been my preference, though, not too many more than that since we just had a 156-pokemon generation.
So, no one should criticize you. It’s the people who completely put down the game and act as if the new mon’s are some creation of Satan that should be called out or ignored.
