When Mega Evolutions were revealed a couple of months back, fans were taken totally by surprise wondering what exactly we were being shown. Now that we understand just what Mega Evolutions are, we’re all guessing what Pokémon could be one of the select few to receive a Mega Evolution.
A while ago our close friend AAPF began researching trademark filings for Pokémon names. This research has previously uncovered Pokémon that have since received Mega Evolutions, and it seems highly likely that more Pokémon from this list will receive a Mega Evolution.
The following Pokémon have all had trademark registrations made for their names since the release of Black 2 & White 2, following the trend of other Pokémon with their names trademarked again there is a possibility these Pokémon will receive Mega Evolutions. Pokémon with a * next to their name have recently been confirmed.

As long as there is one and we don’t have only 70 Pokemon, I could care less. All I want is over 70 Pokemon and about 100-120 new ones and I am set for life.
I agree, but remember Quality>Quantity, I don’t really mind the lack of Pokemon, but GF would really make this Gen so much better if the added at LEAST some pre-evos/evos of old Pokemon after you beat the game, kind of like in Gen 4.
Yeah, that makes sense, and we need a squirrel Pokemon to be acknowledged as a legendary. After all, Gen VI is different, and GF should be taking risks with Pokemon kinds, and so far, they’re doing a great job (keys, icebergs, etc.).

Ya I’m very happy how Skrelp turns out. At first I wasn’t going to use him, but as time went on I warmed up to him and this evo makes for one badass Pokemon lol

That item that changes abilities is supposedly obtained at this game’s Battle Tower like facility for 200 BP… that’s a lot. I hope that BP is easier to earn, but 200 BP almost seems worth it. I’ll breed a perfect Bulbasaur in BW and send it over and make it have Chlorophyll. I’ll be so happy finally getting one. Also, this means that other DW abilities will be permitted. Nice!
