  1. GameFreak has produced the first man-made Pokemon: a Porygon. It’ll be able to help with daily chores, calculate data, and has minor teleportation abilities. It can also act like a guard dog if you upgrade to Porygon Z. However, work on Porygon Z is incomplete as its behaviour is very sporadic. A prototype Porygon Z recently ruined most of Masuda’s favourite polo, hence the lack of the popped collars on Smash.

  2. from what most things are pointing at, I would assume it’s the eeveelution thing and ultimately comfirmin a 6th generation. but I myself have thought it could be something simpler like the first battle based console game since battle revolution. although the fact that it’s an international announcement makes me think it’s more of a big deal.

    I am just too impatient

    • I think countdown estimates it from your computer time. Mine says 27 hours, if I add it to time right now(here) it is 8 pm(but for my timezone).

  3. A month ago, Pokemon world seemed to be a little dead, but now it’s good to be excited about something again. Oh god, I’m lovin’ it!

  4. I’m surprised that no one has said this just for the Lols, but I hope the announcement isn’t “the pokemon franchise has been bought by Disney” lol. (a la Star Wars)

  6. I’d love to see the 3rd generation remakes before Gen VI (like with FR/LG, HG/SS), I would be disappointed if not, but I also like the idea of a new Eeveelution (as it would match up greatly with the anime)… There have also been some new Pokémon in advance to Gen IV (Munchlax, Chatot, Mime Jr.). But I don’t think they will reveal the Gen VI games yet, it would be quite early… Each year a new main game, compare it: 2006 D/P, 2007 “only PMD”, 2008 Pt, 2009 HG/SS, 2010 B/W, 2011 “nearly nothing”, 2012 B/W 2, 2013 R/S?, 2014 Gen 6?… But they are also more quickly concerning the films: 2006 Manaphy, 2007 Darkrai, 2008 Shaymin, 2009 Arceus, 2010 Zoroark, 2011 Victini, 2012 Keldeo/Meloetta, 2013 Genesect. means 2014 again something about the remakes and like Zoroark or already the first new legendary?
They also have to cover the “special Pokémon” of the 2013 film as every year around February..and there’s no currently known Pokémon remaining… Eevee would be in the short film or maybe they use one hinting R/S…We’ve already had the “last” legendary of the “old” region and all new Pokémon of the next region in one film (Deoxys in 7), would also be a possibility for 16..
On top of that, it will be the 10th anniversary of R/S in the US and Europe (March 17/July 25, 2003)… It would be a little bit too late for Japan (November 21, 2002), but if it’s all prepared, everyone could already get it in September..
The big procedure involving the whole world (like never before in a livestream – great to experience the global collaborance after all these years waiting more than a year for the things to come from Japan) would not be worth it mentioning something of lower importance than what’s written above. Tell me what you think of it, I’m already excited!!

  9. Hello, I am a Janitor at Nintendo of America. While cleaning up last night I stumbled upon their plans for tomorrow’s nintendodirect stream. The names of the games are Pokemon Pine and Maple and will be on the 3DS, I also saw a map of the new region, it seems to be based on New Zealand and contains many forests. Tomorrow they are also showing a new Bug type Eeveelution, it seems to be based off of a wasp. They are also showing the starter pokemon the Grass Pokemon looks to be based on a Kiwi, the flightless bird not the fruit, the Water Pokemon is definetely a dolphin, and the Fire Pokemon is a rabbit.
