  2. Iris is a gym leader???/ thats actually awesome! I wonder if this might carry over into the anime and it will be a shock to ash when she reveals herself as the final dragon type gym leader

    • Pokexperto hasn’t said anything on the E4, has he? I think:

      1. Fighting (They’ve certainly got enough of them)
      2. Dark (PLEASE)
      3. Poison
      4. Psychic
      5. Champion (N!!!!one!!111eleven) mixed

      • If “N” is the Champion, I whould bet my money on that he is DARK type!! Why you may wonder?? First: He´s first pokemon (The cat) is DARK type. Second: The Psuedo-Legendary often appear in the team of an high ranked trainer, and this time, the Psuedo-Legendary is DARK/DRAGON. Third: This generation has a lot of dark type pokemons, usually uncommon but this time one of the most common kind. This may be a hint. If not “N” is the Champion, the real champion just have to be Dark type.

    • Maybe one of her parents are the gym leader, but when ash and co reach Iris’s hometown. The gym leader (Iris’s parent) retires and Iris is forced to battle ash as the new gym leader.

      • i think iris will always be tyhe gym leader- but i think her city will be a bit like blackthorn- full of tradition and rules and considering she is wild… i think she may be running away from her duties as gym leader and when they gtet there it will be revealed in a backstory of something….

    Electric leader —> Poison
    Ice leader —> Dark

OH!!!!!!!!! pero que buenos diseños los de esos lideres encerio, la de tipo electrico es la mejor que hermoza me estoy enamorando de un personaje ficticio, pero q importa y la mayor sorpresa esq iris lider mas fuerte y ultima nadie se esperaba eso ahora si la van a respetar a la pobre,ojala el campeon sea N q tenga tipo siniestro mejor no pueden ser las cosas, lo unico q no me gusto fue el orden quiero decir q los de tipo hielo siempre los septimos, otravez el volador el sexto y como en jhoto ultimo dragon . pero los lideres recompensan eso
    la de tipo electrico es una LINDURA

    • i like him too although im not too sure why they put the bug type gym leader in the largest and one of the only industrious city’s in isshu… it’s strange- i think he would have been better in one of the more rural towns or something… beside bug’s natural environments and stuff…

  30. Iris is a Gym leader!? It’s like they’re remaking the first season again! Also, the seventh gym is an Ice gym, with the Icicle badge, Candice is the seventh Sinnoh Gym, with the ice type, adn the Icicle badge, (it should be noted that the icicle badge (the Sinnoh one) is called the Glacia Badge in Japan)

    Iris is the last gym leader, with dragon types, Clair is the last gym in Johto, with dragon types as well.

  37. We have so many fighing types because dark pokemon are more abundent. 🙂 lawls

    I wished for a dark type gym, no rock type gym and a diffrent order of gyms and their types.

Hey, Pokejungle/Team of Pokejungle, Pokemon Project has found pictures, one with part of sanyou town (I think it’s called) and it also has someone battling the fire leader with the water monkey.   42. Very happy with those gym typings. Although I do think my last team member should be an Ice type.

  44. The gym leaders look decent imo. Just peeved that there isn’t a Dark type gym… (yeah that’s right, I jumped on the bandwagon… :P)

    Anyway, PJ, can you ask Pokexperto when he’s going to reveal the sprites please? Cos I was under the impression he was going to reveal them today… majorly letdown 🙁

  55. Wasn’t it said somewhere that there would be no Rock gym. So that it is a ground gym as gym 5, plus Quake Badge, yeah Ground. I’m actually excited about that. I do like the bug gym as well. The others are kind of tiring. And it’s nice to see Iris as the final gym leader.

  57. I believe that this is fake. I just don’t think that Iris being the first met traveling partner in Best Wishes is strange. It might just be a case of amnesia, which is why Dento tags along to jog her memories. And the Kibago is the Son of her Ononokusu. I just think it’s odd.

  60. To be honest I was hoping for a dark gym, but I suppose team plasma will use alot of dark so having a dark gym would be redundant
    I am opposed to a mono-type champion, would prefer a mix like cynthia.

    Overall the gyms of Isshu are a good mix I think, I wish bug was higher though…but I suppose we can rematch the leaders… I know we have known for a while about the first gym but I love love love the idea of type being dictated by your starter… im hoping the rematch is a 3v3 battle 😀

    I am going to avoid the elite four type just so I can be suprised when I finally play it. But my guess for the e4 and champ

    1: Fighting
    2. Ghost
    3. Psychic
    4. Dark
    Champ: mixed type- will likely have the pseudo legendary and zoroark

  63. According to Pokexperto, the 8th gym leader is different depending on your version – I think Iris is only pokemon White, abs there’s a White gym leader in pokemon black

  65. the game just came out 3 days ago !! in japan only if u download it like me u need to crack the exp virus they putted in so no problem i did now i am at the 3e gym AND I CANT BATTLE because an idiot stops me plz some 1 tell me how to get to the gym leader and how to battle hear!! huin city
