  1. I don’t know what it is exactly, but during this playthrough I’ve found a ridiculous number of female Pokémon. I would have thought that they’d boosted their chances of appearance overall but I’m pretty sure my luck has just swayed in that direction.

  2. Alcremie was such a good idea with such bad execution. I’ve done five battle Cafe battles (which are daily) and none have given me any Sweets. The only sweets you get outside of these cafes is Strawberry.

    That sucks.

  3. Well color me impressed! Leon’s legit. That was a really tough battle. Here I thought I had over trained, turns out he is also about 10 levels higher than the rest.

  4. Just beat gym number 5 and love the character so far. I just wish she had a peculiar pokemon in the forest as their main instead

  5. theres a building with 2 fountains in front of it to the right if the kid. Whistle by the left fountain. I highly reccomend whistling by the right fountain first though.

  6. Speaking of aura pokemon on the overworld, does anyone know if they have increased shiny chance? My shiny maractus was one such pokemon.

  7. Are gym leader names still spoilers? They are in the opening ceremony thing after all, but I’ll spoiler this just Incase.Opal’s first interaction with Bede is one of the funniest things in this game, but it is second to Opal’s grandson calling her an old bat

  8. I beat Opal and I’ll be on my way to Melony after I take some well-deserved time away from the screen. I’m still enjoying myself a lot but I can understand where all the criticism comes from. The presentation and designs are stellar but the game still feels…hollow somehow. It simplifies and boils Pokemon down to its essence which has its costs and benefits. I’ll reserve further judgment until I beat the story, which will possibly be tonight if I’m crazy enough!
