Today is the day! After 9 months waiting the games are finally here, Pokémon Sword & Shield are now available worldwide!
We hope everyone has enjoyed not only our countdown with The Path to Sword & Shield, but also spending the past 9 months (and longer!) on the site with us. We’ve grown significantly this year and we’re so happy to have shared every step of the way with all of our fantastic readers!

How do I access the Pokémon PC if it says I can’t use the item while it’s in my bag, but I can’t take it out of my bag?
Honestly it kind of sucks that all of the dynamax/gigamax pokemon glow red because it really kind of ruins their designs. You can’t really make out their details as well.

Question: does anybody know if we need Nintendo switch online for Home when that is out? I’m gonna use Inteleon when I get sword and I’m gonna use Grookey for another go at Shield (I’m almost at the last gym and don’t want it to be done yet so I figure all just start another playthrough and then go back to my main playthrough

How did you get Dreepy so early?
Yeah. Exeledus traded it to me, and she’s growing quick! But it’s not hard when you’re wandering the wild area and the exp share can’t be turned off. My Sobble is about to evolve and I’m not even at the first gym.

It’s time for an adventure update! About an hour ago I beat Kabu in a down-to-the-wire battle. I knew Thwacky wouldn’t stand a chance against Centiskorch so I brought along a Drednaw I caught. When that fainted I realized I ran out of revives! So I brought out my faithful Stunky and it knocked it out with Toxic and Aftermath. I’m pretty sure Skuntank will be here to stay.
Overall…I’m blown away by this game. I believe it’s an extraordinary leap forward. I don’t really care about the National Dex cut right now because I’m overwhelmed at every turn.
Also, is it true that Sizzlipede has a 1% encounter rate? Because I found and caught one inside of Kabu gym…
