Pokémon Crystal, first released in English in 2001, is now available on the Nintendo 3DS eShop in some regions and will continue to roll out globally as January 26th arrives in different countries.
For the first time ever English speakers will be able to access the special GS Ball mini-event which ends with the player encountering a level 30 Celebi in Ilex Forest. Whether or not you’re motivated by Celebi or pure nostalgia, the game retails for $9.99. Don’t forget that this landmark game was the first to introduce players to a choice of gender when starting the game, animated sprites when entering a battle and was the first game to add the challenging Battle Tower gauntlet.

It’s Sword of Destiny by Adam Sapkowski, part of the Witcher series. It’s a collection of 6 50-70 page stories, all following the same main character. I think going in blind wouldn’t be a problem. You can probably find it at any Big book store.
It’s fantasy, with a lot of swearing, sex and drinking and other Slavic goods. It’s written beautifully, it can make you laugh and it can make you sad. I really think any of you could really enjoy it. Just go and pick it up, it became one of my fav books of all time.

Am I wrong in saying the best thing about USUM is Poipole?
I mean I like a few things more but it’s up there
What else is a better addition? The only thing that comes to mind is move tutors, which don’t really count because it’s not an original addition and are just a staple of updates. Blacephalon is great too, but not quite on Poipoles level

Grand task for sure. Those 1 in 8192 chances are going to be a pain and then some. I bet Game Freak’s going to be really lame and release a shiny Celebi through an event or something next year, making all of our efforts seem less amazing after the fact. I don’t care though, I still have my eyes on the prize.
I have that same fear. But that Shiny Celebi won’t have the Gameboy icon. They really should release Shiny Mew since the only legit way to get it is Faraway Island in Emerald. Hm…which I suppose may be possible if they release Gen 3 on VC.
That’s a guarantee for sure. I think they’ll definitely include the Deoxys event too considering they’re not really mythical anymore.

Since my DS died (I saved before it died so) I haven’t been able to use it yet, but I bet he’ll be a wonderful addition to the team
I also think I know which team member will take their leave during the final battle. Echo… Nothing against it, but of all my team mates its the only one that isn’t super necessary to be there (I would refer it, but the final battle wouldn’t be perfect without the Legendary right?)

After this playthrough I have decided each member of my team is now my favorite of each of their respective types (Emboar for Fighting, Bisharp for Steel and Palpitoad for Ground)
Even with the 114,688% greater chance of finding a shiny from this egg I haven’t been successful yet. To be fair, I haven’t tried it too many times yet, but it feels like ages since it takes 11+ minutes each time. Save me from this eternal pain.
