  3. OMG
    I REALIZED SOMETHING
    AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH
    TRADITIONS
    INNOVATIONS
    THIS IS ABOUT THE POKEMON FANDOM
    WE WANT CHANGES, BUT WE DON’T WANT POKEMON TO STOP BEING POKEMON
    WE NEED GAMES WITH INNOVATIONS THAT STILL REMEMBER THE TRADITIONS…

    Past = Tradition
    Future = Innovation
    Present = Balance

    Present = Pokemon Switch

  4. So if a Nintendo direct could be coming out on the 1st (which would fit in the twenty day post mini direct timeline tradition) when do you think it will be announced?

  5. I just hope that the next set of starters have at least one non humanoid. Literally all of Gen 6 and 7’s starters are relatively humanoid. I want something like Venusaur or Torterra lol

  6. I get worried as we talk about what we want in gen 8, because if gen 8 had all the changes you wanted, would you even bother with buying a gen 9 (besides new Pokémon, better graphics and a new story), eventually it’s going to just feel repetitive right?

    • ‘would you even bother with buying a gen 9 (besides new Pokémon, better graphics and a new story), eventually it’s going to just feel repetitive right?’

      Probably considering this is what everyone’s been doing since Gen 1

      • Exactly, that’s been the case. But people still ask for changes, and I’m saying if in your opinion they made the perfect game, would you feel it was enough and not buy more?

        Basically, when will the improved graphics, minute new features, and new pokemon/plot become TOO repetitive.

          • Right but like, say all those changes were made (hm slaves gone like in gen 7, battle frontier, etc.) would it ever feel like, “wow they’re just doing small changes” but nothing revolutionary enough to warrant 50-60 bucks on a new game.

          • That literally sums up the whole franchise to this point tho. They’re never going to run out of criticism so I don’t see the point of worrying

    • Nah it wouldn’t, different region and story are enough to make the games somewhat fresh, also we already do that and been doing that since gen 1 basically

    • No matter what they do or playstyle they use, there’s a way to make it feel unique and fun in some regard.
      Take Sage for example or Phoenix rising or even ethereal gates

      Honestly, fangames are proof that GF does have a good base for a game but has somewhat lost their touch at working it over the years

    • Even if you Follow the ending of Joey were he’s in a relationship with his landlady or something and the rest of them are married with children that First one still seems like it would happen. It’d be like another Episode, Except Joey’s Married and Has Gray hair because Matt Leblanc doesn’t need to dye it anymore.

    *Jesse and James Look at the horizon*
    *A silhouette is running towards them leaving a cloud of dust dehind it*
    -Oh no…
    -It finally caught up with us
    *Bewear catches them into its arms turns around and starts running back to alola*

  11. Okay, I got an idea for a trio of teenage superheros that have been stuck in my head for a while, I wanna share them (that sounds really lamę, doesn’t it?)

    Death Rainbow
    Real name: Isabella Zgonya
    Age: 14
    Comes from a cult of women, descendants of a Death Goddess. She has satanic powers, can cast spells through arm movements. She ran away after learning her destiny.
    She’s usually an optimist, she’s very cheerful and making jokes. (Acts kinda like Mabel from GF)

    Fahrenheit
    Real Name: Josephine ”Jo” Douglass
    Age: 16
    Isabella’s Girlfriend, from New York. She stole a prototype from her stepdad’s lab, it lets her change the temperature of air around her with her brain waves. She can create beams of very hot or chilling air, boiling or freezing water in a second.
    She ran away from her rich stepdad when she learned about his plans, her mother wouldn’t believe her.

    Psyfists
    Real name: George Gisberry
    Age: 16
    Has the power to create 6 fists made out of an unknown material, and control them with his will. A scientist created him in an incubator, with these superpowers. The scientist wanted George to protect the world from his brother and other villains. Even though the scientist died, George is trying to fulfil his destiny.

    George met Isabella when he was fighting the cult she comes from and then they met Jo when she was running away from her stepdad, who is the son of the scientist’s brother.

    I know this is a long post, but first these ideas came to my head and then my brain just added backgrounds and a story to them and I had to post them somewhere.

  13. Fun Fact: Ash actually has 2 Pokémon that have more than 4 moves, being Snorlax and Kingler

    As Kingler used 2 moves before evolving (being Vice Grip and Harden) and then despite using 4 new moves throughout the rest of the match it still used Harden and Vice Grip later on.

    We all know about Snorlax though so no explanation needed
