  1. Hmmm maybe I should invest in a Fighting type mono run
    But which region?

Unova is the hotbed of premiere Fighting types (and the only region with six non legendary fighters)

    Emboar
    Conkeldurr
    Sawk
    Throh
    Scrafty
    Mienshao

    It’s a little kinky, but totally SFW~
I could really use the cash right now, if anyone is interested…

  3. There are some real missed opportunities in the Johto seasons. One being that Cyndaquil never evolved (until Sinnoh). There’s an episode where it trains with ash so that it can battle a Skarmory and during the match Cyndaquil tanks 2 steel wings and basically activates something like Infernape’s Blaze ability in Sinnoh where its fire grows bigger and stuff. Would’ve been perfect opportunity to evolve it.

Also, this song is cheesy and great

    • Yeah it’s another one where Ash doesn’t evolve much but at least the ones he had were awesome and the Johto stuff was largely good to great.

  4. Well a successful 2 out of 3 wins at the release, but here’s my full deck (You only build decks of 40 at these) https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/4fe2ce8d54e9d5f2ed9fe197d975df0f1345aa844a248e8b8c15f0b64bf8ea60.jpg
    Results of singular Pokémon
MVP: Empoleon, this thing plowed through everything way too easy
Great players: Slivally GX and Heatran both were perfect team players in the battles
LVP: Magnezone… This thing did nothing, was supposed to be my helper to get sh*t done and it never even went up in a fight (Still great card art though)

  5. ARRRGHHHH have you ever seen a cartoon or youtube video that you forget about and suddenly crave to watch it ad scour the net to find it?

    • Lickylicky. If it had to be created it should’ve at least be Poison type.
Spritzee’s Evo. I know it’s a reference to the French leg thing, but it’d be sooo much better as a Fairy/Poison Plauge Doctor.
And many mons are OK but are mistyped.

    • I wish that Raticate would’ve gotten a pure Dark type Mega instead of Dark/Normal Form. Honestly Raticate was my #1 want for Mega’s (Beedrill and Pidgeot got them sooooo) also knowing Raticate is one of my favorite normal types

    • If I had Tumblr I would.

Farfetch’d. Actually Infernape could be better, I’m still hoping it gets a great Mega at some point.

    • Hmmmmmmmmmm
      Ditch Emergency Exit on Golisopod
a bit more attack and defense on Pangoro
Aerodactyl having a Rock move that benefits from Tough Claws
EMBOAR HAVING SUBMISSION OR CLOSE COMBAT
Rhyperior a better hidden ability than Reckless (maybe Sheer Force or Sturdy)
      Heracross…..perfect in every way

      Reply
      • Yes a better ability for Golisopod, doesn’t even need to be anything amazing, Inner Focus would do for example. Though the best would be something like Tough Claws that would also fit the design.

        Reply
        • Tough Claws boosted Leech Life grraaagagggggggghhhhhhh
no more being forced out when i try to use Swards Dance AND MORE IMPORTANTLY NOT BE WRONGFULLY PUNISHED WHEN STEALTH ROCKS ARE UP

Mine’s Impish and it’s freaking rock solid bulky no doubt because of that 140 def

so get it on a physical attacker beef up with swords and suck back health and fight back with Aqua Jet, but the entire plan falls apart because of that extremely unfair EE forcing me out and forcing a switch out (only once in a blue moon it’s helpful) but really its just lets Stealth rock waste 25% of the already 50% away

          • It would be
            First Impression
            Aqua Jet
            Leech Life
Then depending on the ability that replaces EE
Swords Dance/Liquidation/Coverage. Actually you might forego First Impression for Liquidation.

    • Talonflame. It did not deserve those nerfs. At least make it so gale wings still work if HP wasnt 100%
      Vikavolt- Faster plz
      Alola Dugtrio- Arena Trap
ICe type Pokemon- Make them resist fairy, flying

      Reply
      • But that was the only Talonflame nerf wasn’t it? Alolan Dugtrio doesn’t deserve to be better. Not sure why Ice would resist Fairy, Flying maybe. Vikavolt should be faster.

        Reply
        • And it was a big nerf. Dont forget all the abilities and psychic terrain that stop priority moves
“Alola Dugtrio doesn’t deserve to be better/Not sure why Ice would resist Fairy…” The question was which pokemon do you wish was better, not what pokemon deserves to be better

          Reply
          • Oh yeah of course that was the other nerf. Actually with those I think the Gale Wings one may be less necessary. Or maybe Gale Wings could’ve let it bypass those abilities and terrain restriction but had the HP nerf, at least that way it isn’t completely down in flames.
Fair enough, I just don’t like Alolan Dugtrio.

          • Talonflame and Gengar didnt deserve the nerfs. But oh well ;~; I guess bad things happen to good pokemon

  6. Something I noticed in the Arrowverse:
There are a lot of references to Bruce Wayne in Arrow/Flash (same Earth), but almost none to Batman. But in Supergirl (alternate Earth to A/F) we get many references to Batman, but not to Bruce Wayne. Could mean that on the A/F Earth Bruce Wayne isn’f a vigilante and on the Sg Earth he isn’t a Rich Celebrity. If the Titans Tv show is in the Arrowverse (and it probably is) it’s more likely to be set on the Sg Earth, tho that could make the chances of Kid Flash joining Titans smaller.

      • I’m not entirely sure but the GS ball is definitely involved. From the source I got this from:

“The GS Ball is obtained after beating the Elite Four. You head to the Goldenrod PC where it will be given to you (for some reason you must move right after entrance to make the event work). You then head to Kurt who will work on it for one day. After that, you get it back and are now able to head to Ilex Forest to battle Celebi! Basically, same as the original except for the entrance thing.” Whether this means it is in the game already or something else idk as I didn’t get the original Crystal.

  7. So Dragon Ball Super is officially ending in March after the current saga is concluded. I’m gonna hit the bottle, genuinely depressed about this.

          • I’ve been interested in health for a few years now thanks to my school classes and I just don’t want to be sat at a desk all day only speaking to other people during breaks or when I’m not meant to. I want to be in a job where I’m either constantly moving and/or communicating, and all three somewhat fit the bill. Especially physio, that’s the dream.

      • Japanese dub been on air since 2014 i think? It wasn’t even supposed to exist in the first place, but Battle of the Gods gained so much momentum that they made Super as a result

        Reply
          • Well they did say that Dragon Ball wont end so we’ll probably get a new anime series which could be like a sequel to Super. Kinda like GT although thats not even canon anymore

          • There’s a new movie coming in December, but rumours floating around that it revolves around the original Super Saiyan God, so no original characters

  8. Guess I’ll turn this into a question time to kick up some convo. Excluding elemental powers, what superpower would you receive if it was based on your personality? How bad is it and/or how different is it from a super power you’d want?

  9. Back with some more maps! I updated Route 11 to better fit the overall region map (the region map shows it entering a city from the north). I also added the ice rock. Above that is Vouno City. I may change the design. Currently, it is a revamp of an old map I made for another area, but it seemed too complicated. So I’m using it now! The ski lift at the north of the city takes you to Vouno Peak, where one of the main characters lives.

      • Thank you! I was worried that the city is a little bland (I usually tend to split up my mountain edges, but this one I didn’t much). I might add some kind of skating rink or something silly in the space above the city and to the left of the ski lift part.

        • Changing it up and adding details could help but it looks like a nice little town anyway so I don’t think it’s something you absolutely must do.

That said, a skating rink would be great because it adds even more personality to the town

  10. Another, related question. If you could have any one of the following elemental powers, which would you choose?

    -Pyrokinesis (Fire manipulation)
    -Hydrokinesis (Water)
    -Geokinesis (Earth)
    -Aerokinesis (Air)
    -Atmoskinesis (Steam)
    -Magmakinesis (Magma)
    -Electrokinesis (Electricity)
    -Phytokinesis (Plants)
    -Cryokinesis (Ice)
-Psammokinesis (Sand, and to be nice throw in Glass)

Alternatively, you can choose two but they’d only be half the power of the ability.

          • I know I just work with a ten elemental system

            Fire
            Water
            Wind
            Earth
            Electric
            Ice
            Plant
            Metal
            Light
            Shadow

          • Well we’re working off my elemental system

            Fire
            Water
            Air
            Earth
            Vapour (Fire + Water)
            Electric (Fire + Air)
Magma (Fire + Earth), sometimes replaced with Metal
            Ice (Water + Air)
            Flora (Water + Earth)
Sand (Air + Earth), sometimes including dust and glass

          • I’m not disavowing your system, you must understand I’ve had this system ever since I discovered my “connection” to the elements and I’ve had this feeling for as long as I can possibly remember

But back on task I just find as you stated those other abilities mere fragments or fusions of classical elements unnecessary on their own

          • I know, I just felt like sharing mine because it’s where the question is coming from. Also, light and dark manipulation are the same from a physical standpoint because ‘making darkness’ and ‘removing light’ has the same effect, and vice versa. From a fantasy sense they can differ tho.

In my system, fusions are separate because in whatever writing I use it in people can’t have both so the fusions have to be their own, with Ice and Vapour being separated from Water because without that distinction Water is just simply far too varied.

          • I personally put light and dark more of the spiritual and evil sense of the building blocks of the world since good and evil are very much apart of any world and must coexist together (to remove any of the two creates imbalance in the grand scheme of life)

          • If I was to incorporate it, it’d definitely be more ‘preserving force vs destructive force’ rather than good vs evil tbh.

          • Yeah that’s just me. There’s a spiritual sense of the elements or a logical viewpoint

Like Fire is warmth light and a fundamental source of life on this world

Opposed to it merely ignition and high temperature of gasses

          • It’s definitely more interesting handling it from a physical and metaphysical standpoint, I’ll give you that.

    • It enables manipulation of existing elements like Avatar bending right?
Aerokinesis would allow flight, creating vacuums and air voids to suffocate, tornadoes etc so probably that.
Otherwise there’s Hydrokinesis with blood control, drowning, dehydrating/mummification, rain control, whirlpools, tectonic shifting via control of the sea, other stufff
Electrokinesis which could potentially destabilise someones cells, electrocute, power stuff, explode things, burn things etc
Pyrokinesis is largely obvious, being able to put out and absorb existing Fire might be very useful.

I can probably think of very destructive uses for all of them and some if not many constructive uses. The Plant one I’d make plants that produce ‘meat fruit’, that is exactly the same taste, texture and appearance as meat but doesn’t come with the killing or the negative health aspects for example.

      Reply
      • If they were powerful enough, then couldn’t someone with Electrokinesis (which is what I’d probably choose) use a lot of the others? Atoms are inherently electronic in nature, and their interactions are primarily electronic.

        Reply
        • Also read minds is a ability

Thoughts are mere electrical pulses and if you can sense and feel them you can decipher thoughts

          Reply
        • Yeah, electro is very much a gamebreaker if we’re using real world logic which is why I prefer more fantasy/magic scenarios because you can stretch logic for balance

          Reply
          • I mean you potentially can short circuit any living creature’s heart with a direct hit

Then again the elements can pretty much kill anyone with their raw power

  11. And final question, related to the last two.

In a world of superpowers, would you rather:

Live in a futuristic sci-fi world
Live in a world similar to our own but adapted to that huge change
    Live in a fantasy-based world

      • I went in knowing nothing and had a blast. Don’t understand why people complain about the ending. That was like the one think I knew, that the ending sucked, but I liked it ok.

        Reply
        • I didn’t know anything going in either, what I knew was the directors previous work, which is why I expected different. I liked it just didn’t love it.
