Many fans are eager for a return to Sinnoh—a region left unexplored since Pokémon Platinum was released in 2008 for the Nintendo DS—but it isn’t necessarily the only title which may see a remake in Generation VIII or beyond. Pokémon Red & Blue/Green never got a true remake on the Nintendo DS or 3DS, although Kanto was seen in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. Solid information is nil on the Nintendo Switch Pokémon game, but interestingly enough rumors about Kanto and Sinnoh being remade keep popping up.

FOR: Haven’t seen Sevii Islands in almost 15 years, no true remake in just as long, more mature Red & Blue (JP Green) teased in Gen VII
AGAINST: Already saw Kanto in the Nintendo DS in 2009, Red & Blue have already gotten a remake, fans may be tired of the original story

FOR: Original Diamond & Pearl games came out over 10 years ago, fan interest in seeing Gen IV again is very high
AGAINST: Game Freak may be waiting to release their next remake considering Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire only came out 3 years ago

Wouldn’t Hauntraw or Haundraw work better for a name? But I do like the designs, but maybe make legs shorter on the first one or have it float altogether

Energy Ball hits both Ground and Rock. Electric hits most Fire neutrally. I’m not even sure it needs a HP tbh.

Hollowknight just does everything it wants to do right. The only flaws I can really think of is load times between rooms can be a bit annoying (not longer than 5 seconds but I feel like it should be instant. I bet the optimized Switch version will fix it) and when you die, you leave behind this ghost that you have to kill to retrieve your money but if you fail to kill it, you lose that money forever and I feel like that’s kinda harsh in a game where you can die ALOT

I’ll be getting Kirby and probably Yoshi, but that list is not enough to carry the switch for a whole year. Kirby and FE are big, but not big enough to carry the entire lineup. So I’m going with either that it’s fake or there’s a lot more coming in the year as well.
So I found these old sketches of characters I made like almost a year ago for a Rom hack of Ruby I never ended up making called Pokémon Wish. It was a sequel taking place years after RSE.
It centered around Jirachi and you would get a weaker form of Jirachi halfway through the game but I never settled on a design

-Flannery had a water type specialist fiancé and you fought them in a double battle for the badge
– Ruby took over Norman’s gym after Norman quit to spend more time at home (Sapphire was a post game boss like Red)
The player character was an assistant to Professor Acacia who studied space. You just arrived in Hoenn and she sends you out with a Pokedex for whatever reason. There’s also that star festival like in the Jirachi movie. But for some reason I couldn’t come up with, these two dope punk sisters wanna capture Jirachi so you gotta stop them
So it wasn’t made because 1) I was lazy 2) I couldn’t think of a reason why the sisters wanted Jirachi specifically

Thinking about my Spinosaurus fakemon, I think it will evolve from a Platyhystrix a sail backed amphibian https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Platyhystrix and a Dimetrodon https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dimetrodon which existed before Dinosaurs. Both have sail backs and Dimetrodon has a similar diet. Not sure on names or full designs yet but likely they’ll have developing traits of Spinosaw.

Last year, the September Nintendo Direct was announced at 6AM on Monday September 11. The last time they tweeted before that was Friday September 8. This month, their last real tweets (besides an advertisement for FE Heroes) were on Friday, and that included the Pink and Green Joy-Con and an obvious hint in the form of Talkatoo from Odyssey. With this, I conjecture that Nintendo could announce this month’s Direct tomorrow at 6AM! Maybe. It could still be Tuesday or Wednesday morning as well. Please announce this thing and put me out of my misery Nintendo, this is important to me…and us!

Depending on how big the direct is, I definitely think we could get the name of Yoshi’s new game and a release date, Kirby’s release date, the names or at least some info about the upcoming pokemon games, and if we’re lucky, something breadcrumb-y about animal crossing or super smash bros.
Pikmin 4, Animal Crossing, Donkey Kong Planet, and a tease for Smash Bros to be revealed in full at E3. Then some third party stuff and new Joy-Con and pro controller colors. I think that’s a very solid event lineup.

I kinda forgot about those, but I was only thinking about new announcements. I think they’ll fully reveal Yoshi with its name and release date and then say “Oh yeah, Kirby Star Allies releases at this time”. There must have been a strategic reason why they revealed Kirby’s full name before Yoshi’s.
