We’re just days away from 2018 which happens to be a “Year of the Dog” according to the Chinese Zodiac. In Japan, the country of origin for the Pokémon series, there are reminders everywhere as New Years draws near. There are also plenty of dog-like Pokémon now in the series, so many so that it might be hard to just pick one favorite but today we challenge you to do just that! What is your favorite dog (or dog-like) Pokémon?!
From Poochyena to Furfrou, Granbull to Manectric, what’s your favorite Pokémon that resembles a dog from our own world?
Here are some pictures to give you inspiration as you think of your answer! Tell us below!
so rumors are saying direct is on the 11th. heres a list of things i want them to announce:
-super smash bros on switch with new characters being added such as Rex and Ice Climbers
-pikmin on switch
-fire emblem on switch
-heres just a general switch want….GC games on switch VC. specifically fire emblem
http://pokejungle.net/2014/01/06/the-pokemon-plus-pokemon-minus-rumors/
three freaking years ago
theyre not real
stop.
Almost four, actually. It’s impossible that they could have been developing the Switch games in 2014, considering XY just came out and work on Sun/Moon was probably in its earliest stages.
Apparently according to someone whom I can’t remember, GF started prepping for this game since 2012
It would explain a few small things and it would mean the game would be big in a way
no they didn’t
that isn’t how game development works
I heard they started ideas not actually making the game yet (Or this is at leadt what I meant. Then again it was just a rumor I heard so take it with a grain of salt)
What if they were real all along.
*corrects glasses*
Actually, each remake is released on a diffrent platform, first the GBA, then the DS, then 3DS and now for Gen 4 the Switch. Them waiting until Pokemon jumps to another console actually is just following another pattern.
what are you on about
Nothing. Just explaining why we have to wait so long for Sinnoh remakes.
that has nothing to do with this
I agree with you on this.
This sounds utterly stupid imo and really should be finally put to rest
Watch it be revived in 2022 but changing the Wii U/Switch for something else, like I almost believe that this will happen
I honestly hope the games are called plus and minus and have nothing to do with the leaks
While these rumors are fake it won’t surprise me if the first gen 8 games are plus and minus in reference to the joy cons
http://boards.4chan.org/vp/thread/34597816
Clearly fake but it’s relatively interesting
this is why i dont care for 4chan. i love how they stress how they arent an expert on pokemon. thats how they get you. “i am not the best person to talk about pokemon so my source must be true” like who cares.
It’s obviously a fake but honestly I just enjoy reading whatever bullshit they throw
It’s hard to tell what’s fake and what’s real with so many rumors and leaks that are going around about the Switch game. I’m calling BS on this one because it’s from 4chan. I try to take anything that comes from 4chan with a coffee cup full of salt.
just think of it like this, nothing is real until confirmed. rumors and speculation are for fun. people made something out of 4chan posting whatever the heck they want to get people talking.
I really like the sound of this, and this person clearly went through a lot of effort to make something that seems somewhat believable. I wouldn’t go as far as saying “clearly fake” like you, because nothing here seems too outlandish. Something about the name Pokemon Marble also gets me hyped for some reason. Since it is likely fake, it’s a shame this idea won’t happen.
I only say clearly fake because they clearly mention removing Pokémon and a type
I mean we do know they’re interested in changing the game up
True but still… omitting mons is nuts
Before 2016 people would’ve said the same about the National Dex
One thing is to not have certain Pkms in the region but other thing is to not have them even in in the code making it impossible to get them in the game via bank or hack
^^
Most collection franchises (what Pokémon is) go through reboots. And remakes will hold those old Pokémon anyway. It’s improbable, not impossible.
Welp its gonna be a year since this beauty came from 4chan (and all leakers said it was fake)
https://s3-us-west-1.amazonaws.com/shacknews/assets/editorial/2017/01/switchleak4chan.png
One hell of a guess
Lol its best guess of all time
;3
Can we have another one of those pls
Ngl, I think this drought for a year is going to be hell thanks to leaks and rumours lol
Hell? Nah discussing those are fun, like the rumours and leaks are what I missed the most in USUM hype season tbh
Happy New Year, everybody!
As I enter my fifth year on Pokejungle, I reflect back on the wonderful people I have met and shared my passion for Pokemon with. This platform has changed my life in so many ways and I am thankful for each and every one of you that have impacted it. Thank you, and here’s to a prosperous 2018 <3
2018 and lots to be done~
What of these games excites you the most this year? (And possibly beyond?)
*Pokemon Switch
*Kirby: Star Allies
*Yoshi Switch
*Metroid Prime 4
*Fire Emblem Switch
*The Next Legend of Zelda?
*Nintendo 64 Mini Classic? (I can dream, right?)
*Or the supposed release of VC Titles on the Switch?
Metroid Prime 4
The new zelda won’t be here for years
Zelda and Pokémon swap marketing strategies and the next LoZ is just BOTW with slight changes
My god
Ultra Breath of the wild
Kirby
Pokemon
Maybe Smash port pls
Octopath
and
FE like I need a trailer or atleast the title 😮
Pokemon for Switch and Yoshi for Switch.
Also going to get Kirby for Switch (Kirby: Star Allies?). It’ll be my second entry in the Kirby series. My first was Kirby 64. I bought it on Virtual Console for the Wii. Not as excited for that as I am for Pokemon and Yoshi for Switch.
That’s neat. I started with Kirby Super Star Ultra, but I also have and or played Triple Deluxe, Planet Robobot, Amazing Mirror, Nightmare in Dreamland and Squeak Squad
Animal crossing
Pokémon, Kirby Battle Royale, Kirby Star Allies and possibly whatever game Yo-kai Watch decides to throw at America
Other than that nothing unless something new beholds (Or if I get Money to buy Cuphead as I really want it)
A new Mario Party/Paper Mario/other sideline Mario game.
I need them to reveal mother 3 so I can make a video idea I had
Can we get a new kid Icarus please
I think nintendo forgot about that franchise
It was very popular when the reboot came out and its made by sakurai so of course its gonna be awhile
Well, smash 4 had two newcomers from Kid Icarus. But seriously uprising was so fun to play i realll want a new Ki
Huge leak! https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/e342b4cfe460b7a8495790d42f789e1f2a7070ca829345e588088ca104a70664.png
Victini is calling
He wants its V motif back
Lol. Love this! (I know it’s not real)
https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/82159d9c741ed52f9e877a5d960e80efcfa672e9bc1ea16266a9a0aff294839b.jpg I see what you did there.
2018 is gonna be immense in terms of games man. I’ll need a bigger wallet
So, they aired the first 3 Pokemon movies twice today and some Sun and Moon on Disney XD. Pretty cool way to start off 2018. They’re gonna air Lucario And The Mystery Of Mew (my favorite movie) tomorrow too.
i just want to know when they’re gonna dub the Nebby arc
It still says 2017 on Serebii, so that’s a lie
I took a 3-mile walk today and an 870 CP Xatu was waiting for me right next to our car! Safe to say it’s my buddy Pokémon now. It also has above average stats apparently which is nice! I’m also level 19 now, which isn’t actually very exciting.
Everyone is doing their top 5 games they played in 2017. Guess I should do mine
5. Pokemon US
4. Pokemon SoulSilver
3. Pokemon Volt White 2
2. Pokemon Sun
1. Smash 4
This was one of the best years in gaming and you played nothing. Smh
He wasn’t in to any of the games that came out
And not all of us have the funds to afford a Switch you know 😛
There was so much though? Like.. especially indies. They knocked it out of the park this year
Oh well. I dont play much games anyway lol. Also Im trying to save my money
5.Kamen Rider:Climax Fighters
4.Gundam Versus
3.One Piece Burning Blood/Ultra Sun/Fire Emblem Heroes (It’s a mobile game, yes, but I don’t care)
2.Resident Evil 4
1.Persona 5
Why didn’t you play anything, but USUM that was new?
What’s your favorite Smash character? Whatever it is maybe try to play their series like I do (With the exception of Duck Hunt as it was never remade and I have no access to a Nintendo 64)
You may like it and you may not, but you should at least try them (As a suggestion to play if you’re looking for a similar game to Pokémon then you should play Yo-kai Watch (You can always before buying use the demo to see if you like it)) https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/60c92ffdd24684a94e889f7faaa308c189de87386cdd79dd9264572914808e53.jpg
Either it doesnt interest me or I dont feel like buying it. Im also trying to save up a lot of money for future investments Im planning on making soon.
Ok, Just a suggestion
Even if you don’t want to spend money I do really suggest Yo-kai Watch demo as it has a few similarities
-Uses 6 on a team, yet a more opened up Battle system
-Uses animal like creatures based on Japanese myths
-Good story line
The Demo is a real strong seller at least to me and if you do eventually buy it, knowing how its older now and wasn’t super popular it could be bought at a much cheaper price than its original cost
https://boards.4chan.org/vp/thread/34491401/generation-8-leaks
Yet another rumor to add to the pile. This one is old as it came out before the Chinese leaks after Christmas did. It’s interesting to note that it also mentions the changed battle system and that it will be “disruptive” like how one of the Chinese leakers put it.
From the first sentence: “Screen cap this! It’s fake tho”
Axiom Verge is a must play for anyone a fan of Metroid. It’s such a fun romp. The gameplay nails the Metroid style and the pixel art is just fantastical detailed.

I need this
Looks neat!
Reminds me of Sirius from Bomberman 64
https://pre00.deviantart.net/ddef/th/pre/f/2016/017/6/e/sirius_iii_battle_tribute_by_obstinatemelon-d9odp1k.jpg
It’s Shishi (Lion) Red Orion Mode from Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger and I love it (the form, I still need to watch the show)
Super sentai! I am looking forward to the next seasons figures! May actually pick up the mecha and actually check out the show since I really don’t care about the current power rangers season. Not a fan of the zords

I REALLY AM INFURIATED WITH THIS DIMBO KOROK!
Why. won’t you. stupid. rock. go. in. the. rock. hole.
Good thing nobody here comments several times on their own comment! That would be completely obnoxious :3
No need to be unnecessarily rude!
Sorry Lunamoon I meant that towards Lunamoon, not Lunamoon. I know it’s hard to tell with all the different Lunamoons
If you’re going to be snappy at me please talk to me later.
Snap crackle pop rice crispies
Forget it. I don’t want my first day of the new year to end off rough. Plus i’m tired. Let’s just drop this OK?
You reeeeally remind me of someone
Agreeeddd, can’t put my finger on it ;3
I’m sorry, k? I’ve haven’t been feeling well recently and plus I’me exhausted and I’ve been trying to get this 45th kook seed for the 2nd last weapon upgrade.
It’s okay, just don’t spam so much
Snubbull is my favorite dog Pokemon- I wish its 3D model was a little cuter, but oh well
The internet: 2018 is going to be great! Can’t be any worse than the last few years rig-
*Logan Paul swooces in*
*Ajit Pai swooces in right after*
He already swoced in a few days back
He’s swoocing in again
He can’t, you only get one swooce. To swooce again you need to earn it. Each person starts with one
I think I should probably log out or even delete this acc, honestly the fact I already snapped at the first day means i shouldn’t do stuff like this. Sorry but I don’t think this is healthy for me.
Eh, heck wth it. I’m just going to leave, probably not the best place for me to be.
Well that just happened
Wonder if ReviewReviewer will come back after that

These endings are always kinda weird, but I like them
Also, I really like the Magiranger/Mystic Force suits, they look nice
I wish I wasn’t the only one here who cared about Super Sentai or just Tokusatsu in general (besides Power Rangers)
Mystic Force is my favorite season besides the original Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers through Power Rangers in Space story. Loved the magic, loved the elements, loved… that red ranger. Mmph.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is a great game, I’d recommend it to anybody! I remember playing XCX in the early parts of 2016 but stopped playing after a while. This time, I definitely see myself playing it through to the end. Of course, I only just started Chapter 2 and I’m sure it’s a long road ahead, but I’m enjoying myself!
