  2. So my project was this
A tournament based on evil teams. All players start as grunts for a team they choose teams and work their way up. There is a catch, however.
You can ONLY use mons from that team. That’s right, from that team. And your rank decides what you can use. For example, a team Rocket Grunt isn’t just busting out a crobat.
It’s a little restrictive but the point is to get creative :3
Anyways, all players for each team accumulate points as they win, for themselves to spend and for the overall team
The team with the most overall points wins.

    Bam!
    Let’s see if someone cares

    • These things don’t come in boxes! I’m either going to go to the Pokémon Center and pick them up for you (in which case I’ll give everyone a Pokémon Center bag) or order them online, which might give some special packaging.

  4. Lol these leakers getting desperate asf

The individual parts of the UK would either get their own region or would work like Kalos/Alola with Republic of Ireland as a Post-Game area, the two pieces of Ireland would probably be named the same but with distinctions made like irl, and ‘Kuing’? Literally my mom’s word for a male monarch with a U thrown in

  6. I think remakes should bring the older games up to par with the newer ones ya know? Which is why FRLG has nice pretty improved graphics, and HGSS has so much new added including series staple (for 2 gens) a battle frontier!

So since X and Y had jackshit, so did ORAS! 😀

  7. I think the part of the reason why the post-game episodes of the 3DS games are so dissatisfying is that they reuse locations you already went through in the games. I understand why they did this for the UB Episode in SuMo, but they could’ve made that more immersive than just ‘cutscene catch cutscene repeat’, for example having the UBs as Totem-like bosses causing problems rather than just being in the wild.

Delta Episode is boring besides the Climax because you just fly around places you’ve already been too and either do really easy fights or have dialogue, or both.

Looker Episode in XY could’ve taken place in a small Southern Kalosian town or something for a new breath of air rather than Lumiose again, or at least a new part of Lysandre Labs or something.

RR has boss fights which can be fun, and it’s a new twist on an old area. But they made it tedious with the (imo) unfun puzzles and restricting grunts to one Kanto Pokemon each when they should’ve had a variety of Pokemon per grunt and have them use Johto Pokemon as well because Johto has no representative. Also, everyone should’ve had a Mega to make the fight harder, whilst Ghetsis, Archie, and Maxie should’ve been in their latest incarnations and made harder. Ghetsis should’ve had Reshiram/Zekrom and Black/White Kyurem depending on version, whilst Archie and Maxie should’ve at least had Mega Camerupt and Sharpedo, if not their Primals as well. It’s just boring because there’s so much they could’ve done with it but they restricted it to one place and paced it badly. Imagine if the dimensional distortion that effected Aether Paradise effected other areas too for you to explore and encounter new Pokemon from other regions? Like Maxie distorts Wela Volcano Park, Archie distorts Brooklet Hill, etc. And you can travel to these distorted areas after you beat the episode by Wormhole. Or something. This level of effort would’ve been fine if USUM had more major post-game but as the sole major post-game feature of USUM it’s disappointing.

    • it also doesn’t help that the Delta Episode is like being a dog on a leash. You’re just dragged around from place to place following an incomprehensible plot line that they probably wrote in an afternoon

      • I really don’t understand how ignorant, assaholic bitch Zinnia figured out the risks of shipping the meteor off to another universe before the top scientists did

Regardless of your opinion on Pokemon having a multiverse, it’s just so stupid. Like seriously, Delta Episode is whack.

        Reply
        • I think teleporting the meteor to another universe when you have that machine up and running and ready to go is a much better plan than summoning a dragon god to send an 11 year old child with to blow it up

          Reply
          • I think the better question is how there was no security strong enough to prevent zinnia from just waltzing in and destroying the device

          • Phrased it poorly. Like, what I mean is that why can Zinnia see that as a risk whilst the scientists deny it? If anything, they’d accept it as a possibility but do it anyway because that meteor isn’t guaranteed to even hit the planet in the other universe. Whereas Zinnia just lucked out that you just so happened to have the meteor Rayquaza needed, because if it wasn’t for you she would’ve ended the world.

    • Uh I agree, Delta episode and the UB hunt from SM were pretty lazily done and mostly of all, boring by pretty much the reasons you listed. If they want to make another episode (which I’m not very fond of that idea) hopefully they make it more interesting and not full of confusing exposition >_>

      Reply
    • Delta episode should’ve been a new thing that brought back in the Gym Leaders or something. If they are doing something new there’s so much more they could’ve done.

  8. wrote a little thing about earthbound for a reddit post about favorite nintendo games

Earthbound is everything you want in a game. It’s surprising, it’s silly, it’s happy, it’s sad, it’s bizarre, it’s scary, it’s a good damn game. It’s really sort of a personal game too. The first half of the game is weird stuff going on in small American towns. And you’re just a small kid with a couple of friends. The spin is that everything wants to kill you.

Birds, dogs, snakes, skaters, hippies, middle aged women, robots, aliens, mushrooms, Salvador Dali Paintings, clocks, cars, exploding trees, eldritch abominations, ants… this game has alot of weird enemies dude

And this wackyness never feels forced. It just feels right. Like “yeah, that makes sense to be fighting a walking noose with eyes” because it builds up this personality and world. The game never lingers on anything.

Anything is possible, and with that, some truly creepy stuff slips in. It isn’t afraid to dip the player into uncomfortable waters before yanking them back out to some new thing.

The simplistic art style with the vibrant colorful areas that all are consistently varied and memorable all form together to create a truly unique world. It’s like being in a cartoon while still giving an air of very real nostalgia for being a kid growing up. Just.. ya know… with psychic powers

Earthbound is my favorite game ever and I’m glad the audience for it continues to grow through the years. Now, come on Reggie… give us Mother 3

Harder mode: Same as above, but they must all be from the same evo line (counting branched evo lines)

The art is good, a shame there’s only 2 but quality over quantity I guess. I basically chickened out of doing one because whilst I can picture exactly what I want to do I can never get it out on the page anything like it. I know I need to practice more, I just have no confidence and really didn’t want to showcase my lack of ability.

Hope everyone’s year is going well so far, I’m sick again myself. I did manage to see The Last Jedi again today though. I realise whilst I really like it there’s definitely some issues, but also things I appreciated much more this time around.

    Thursday, January 11
    Switch:
    -Pikmin 4 (Summer)
    -Animal Crossing (Early Fall)
-Kirby Star Allies (April) with light pink Joy-Con
-Yoshi full title (June/July) with light green Joy-Con
-Lots of indies and third party stuff
-Super Mario Odyssey: Isle Delfino DLC with Super Luigi Odyssey campaign
-Random new IP that looks good coming out way sooner than expected (March)
-Ends with Smash Bros for Switch logo (more details at E3)
    3DS:
    -Wario Land (late 2018)
-new 2D Zelda game (May) with limited edition gold New 2DS XL
    -localizing some useless eShop stuff
    -that’s it

      • I’d like to see some kind of Link’s Awakening successor or reimagining on Switch before the next big 3D Zelda. I just feel like it’s the only kind of story and world that would really fit the system and the post-BotW world we live in. And I could totally see Paper Mario at E3 considering how they announced Kirby and Yoshi last year. It’s cool that after this Direct we’ll be able to predict Nintendo’s 2019, which sounds nuts to me.

  22. So after winning a lot with Zelda in smash, I have a question relating to Pokemon.
What is an underrated Pokemon, and why do you think it’s good?
Personally, I think Staraptor is pretty underrated. It’s so powerful I think people need to use it more. A more underrated is Granbull. With Intimidate and a base 120 Atk Play Rough is too strong. I gladly use it in OU.

    Reply
    • Just wanted to say I freaking love staraptor! Easily my favorite regional bird! And honestly I would say almost any grass starter is under rated. Bulbasaur and turtwig come to mind! Both really good Pokémon (IMO) with awesome evolutions but they are overshadowed by the water and fire starters

  23. Question I thought of last night. Do people actually think we are getting the switch Pokémon game this year. Or in 2019? It it comes in 2019 would anyone be against a new muster dungeon game on 3ds and Nintendo switch similar to the first mystery dungeon being on gba and nds? Honestly idk when the game will come out but if it’s this year the latest we will get a trailer is e3. If it doesn’t happen there it’s definitely a 2019 release. We shall see I suppose.

    Reply
    • I don’t think we’re getting anything else on 3DS for Pokemon. It really depends how long they’ve been working on the Switch game.

      Reply
    • In all honesty I can see it coming out early 2019. They’d start promotion this year, but obviously it technically wouldn’t be out until next. Early as it be tho

      Reply
        • Yeah definitely. I just can’t see them stretching out the SM/USUM content as far as a whole 2 years. There’s just not enough for them to do that. Especially since they’ve already burned through 2 out of 3 mythicals.

Maybe it’s because they’re a fossil set and not super to get during normal gameplay in most games. Maybe one day I’ll make a point to breed an egg or something to use on in a playthrough. Maybe I’ll even hold off until the inevitable DP remakes and use them then.

          • well does that even work? i mean if the Exp All gives out EXP then shouldn’t whoever’s battling need to wear it? otherwise do the non participating poke get more exp because its also holding it

          • Lucky Egg only affects the Pokemon holding it. Exp All shares the base experience gained from the opponent, not the boosted exp of the Lucky Egg holder. It’s the same as if you were to use a Pokemon with a different OT out in front, the experience shared isn’t more.

To answer that, I’ll say this.
Have you ever listened to something that sounded so beautiful that it gave you goosebumps? That’s what a well tuned Vocaloid song is like for me. A lot of modern day music just doesn’t do that for me or even come remotely close.

    • Uh, I don’t get why people tell you it’s weird because you can’t understand the language, knowing the lyrics won’t add much to a piece imo And yeah this sort of “goosebumps beautiful” songs is something that today’s music doesn’t care much as far as I know :/

So his name shows up in all the “Special Thanks” sections of those 4 movies. Hopefully relatively soon Viz Media/Warner Brothers can get the rights to those movies back so they can completely redo the credits and remove his creepy ass from them….You learn something new every day I guess

For regular Pokemon sure stick to the current formula. When they show the starters or the first Pokemon of the gen to be revealed they should make a big show of it.

  59. Can we admit for a second some of BW’s dumber moments

-The fact going into a Bug gym that he boxed his Flying type
-Brought only Palpitoad to Elesa and then got a Grass type to fight a Flying type
-The fact he chose to use a Krokorok versus Swobat when *correct me if I’m wrong, had no dark moves on it
-Never told us exactly why Cilan hated Purrloin

Ash never caught Rufflet (This ones more a personal one, but it looks like it would fit his team)

    • The anime takes liberties with type advantages Because the focus of the anime is to have cool looking battles, the anime isn’t an rpg. Literally when anyone complains about how ash is “dumb” Because he ignores type advantages i get the strongest urge to punch them.
Also, as i recall bringing in palpitoad to fight elesa was done on purpose because it’s part Ground.
As for the swoobat vs Krokorok, again anime takes liberties with type advantages, besides stuff like this has happened in every series.

Bw is utter trash, but not because of the reasons you listed

      Reply
      • But they mention type advantages many times in the anime. They should either delete type advantages as a concept, or make Ash follow them.

In my head I was thinking that normally starters aren’t something you can find in the wild so this was incredibly rare. I believe no had this dream sometime after gen 2 and before gen 3 came out. I’ve always been fond of that dream despite it being a very simple one.

    • Pokemon/Digimon dreams are always a nice surprise
I remember the most recent a Pokemon dream I had (kinda foggy), took place in the a cloudy area kinda and I was with the Advanced Protags. And we were walking through and we started getting chased by a Steelix. Steelix then started to attack Nosepasses and May was like “Oh no! It must be because the Nosepass use photosynthesis!!” Then the dream ended

    • I still remember my most bizarre dream ever
I was a Nuzleaf inside a house, one of the kinds of houses in Pokémon MD Red Rescue Team. I was with Olaf from Frozen and Patrick Star and we were sort of having a cheesy cartoon like adventure in the house…

I still question how my mind made that dream in the first place.

I’m debating putting myself through the BW anime, but we shall cross that terribly built bridge when we get to it. For now I’m going to enjoy my trek down memory lane. I’m even watching the movies at the points in time where they should be watched in the series. There isn’t an exact time for them technically, but I’ve found a page on Dogasu’s Backpack where he puts them in the timeline as best as possible.

  63. Ya know what I enjoyed from Sun and Moon? The side quests where people would ask you to catch a pokemon and bring it to them. It’s a small thing but it really encourages catching more pokemon in a game where it can be really easy to just catch your 6 team members and nothing else

I didnt use a Bug type until Vikavolt. I do regret it because gen 5 had amazing bug types and I totally missed out then, but oh well. Vikavolt is awesme. I also didnt use a ghost type until gourgeist even though I should have used Aegislash.

      I’ll probably use comfey first

    • I can’t really fully remember any of my teams past like ORAS so like… I vary my types a lot because I really enjoy varying my team each time but if I’m thinking of my two ‘first’ teams in each region, I used

      Blaziken/Roserade/Gyarados/Glalie/Aggron/Salamence

      And for Sun I used

      Primarina/Salazzle/Lurantis/AloChu/Ribombee/Lycanroc

So haven’t used Ground, Fighting, or Dark in any first teams yet but I don’t feel like I’m missing much because I enjoy them so much. I do tend to prioritise having a Fairy, a Grass, and a Poison tho.

Throwing in my first (and only) Ultra Sun team of Incineroar/Meganium/Kingdra/Lycanroc/Florges/something else I don’t remember rn so I probably still haven’t used Fighting or Ground

Including all my teams tho I’ve used every type but I’m low on Dragon. I’ve done monotypes for Dark (White), Normal and Poison (White 2), as well as Water (ORAS).

      Reply
    • Oh wait beginning teams only?

Rock, fairy, normal here… never first ran with one of these
I have a feeling fairy might be used soon for me though

      Reply
    • Hmm Water type… JK I always use a Water type

But I’ve never used a Poison Type on my main team I believe if never beating a game, but starting games with Bulbasaur counts then I’ve used every type (But least used is Dragon with only Turtonator)

I sorta regret not using Poison types knowing I like quite a few (Oh or to face my brother so he could be rivaled in X v.s. my AS I used Muk)

  71. Three separate, yet simple, questions.

    1) What type do you usually go for when it comes to starters?
    2) Do you actively try to incorporate the Grass/Fire/Water triangle into teams using a starter?
    3) How much of the Eeevees have you used in a team?

    Reply
    • 1) Fire, even if I’m not a big fan of the line. I broke my streak in Sun and got cursed with the worst Popplio possible. So back onto the fire streak.
      2) Not actively but I think it might be subconscious. It just tends to happen because of how good the synergy is in game.
      3) All eight of them. Sue me. They’re all great and I love them all. Now just give me a Poison type one, or finish it with a Dragon Eevee and then make a physical type counterpart to Eevee.

      Reply
          • It suffers from a poor movepool and the fact GameFreak hates physical fire types

But it has decent stats and the ability has easily abused ingame where the AI’s prediction is abysmal. Use Leavanny as bait. Switch in Flareon. Sweep with… uh…. fire fang

          • Turt is an example of shallow movepool =/= bad because it just doesn’t have the stats to pull anything off. It either needs a bigger moveset or better stats.

In-game Araq for example has a shallow moveset for a water type but it works because it has what it needs to use said shallow moveset

          • Wait, i meant Turt is shallow = bad in game. It was one of my least favourites because it only really helped for stalling physical things and things weak to fire.

Whereas Araq in game is ‘shallow, but it works’

          • I got you
I’m being dead serious when I say Turtonator might have just been the worst thing I’ve used ingame. Literally Magcargo was better

    • 1) Design mostly, I just pick what I think looks better, sometimes I pick some that I haven’t picked yet

      2) Nope, when it happens is usually coincidental

      3) Actually none

    • 1. I WANT to go for water starters, considering its my third favorite type, I’ve gone for grass a lot. Bulbasaur, Chespin, and Rowlet to be specific. Its tied with water, meaning I’ve chosen fire a total of once
      2. Actively no, my teams do focus on balance and beating types but I also wanna ensure it uses mons I like
      3. A total of one: Glaceon. I plan on using Sylveon soon

    • 1) Water, almost always the Water starter appeals most to me, but I’ve gone for Chespin, Turtwig and Charmander over the Water types (Granted I still use Squirtle and Piplup alot)

      2) Meh sometimes

      3) I used Sylveon and Espeon, that’s about it

    • 1. Depends on my order in the group and design. (I have choose 3 grass 2 fire 2 water)
      2. No, no need to limit self
      3. Flareon, Umbreon, Espeon, Jolteon, Vaporeon.

    • 1) I always choose based on the designs, sometimes also typings
      2) Not really, tho I am satisfied if I have the triangle
      3) Uhhhh… Sylveon… And I think that’s it. I really wanna use a Jolteon tho.

    • 1. Until Gen 4 I loved Fire starters the most, even though my favourite from Gen 1 is Grass.
      2. I try if I can, but I don’t strictly enforce it, I prefer a more balanced team even if the means foregoing the G/F/W core.
      3. I’ve used Jolteon, Leafeon and Sylveon in main games, and Umbreon and Espeon in Colosseum so most.

    • 1. I alternate between fire and water ( snivy being the only exception I picked a grass type starter )
      2. I try to incorporate the triangle when I can, sometimes it doesn’t work out depending if I already planned out my team before I start playing
      3. I have used Umbreon in VC Silver version and used Sylveon in Y version

  72. Alright I’m joining in on the fun of replaying Black. Will prolly dump my starter as I’ve already used all three, but should be fun to try and use Pokemon from the rather larges dex I never have before.

  73. think I might make my starter a Pansear. I know Simisear it the most hated Pokemon in the world……But I actually really like it a lot

    • For the 20th anniversary i decided to bank a team with every starter and I included every Simi

They’re decent fun to use but i exhausted myself in the process lol

      • Idk why people hate it so much. I’m actually surprised I never ended up using one in my first playthorugh. Iirc it was something to do with it’s moveset, but now that I look at it it’s not that terrible. Just takes a little easing into.

  74. Last question of the night, so maybe a more thoughtful one for banter. So a ‘if Pokemon were real’ one.

    1) Pick your dream team of six.
    2) With your house as it is, how well would they live there? Would you have to remove any of your team or keep them in their ball most of the time? (This includes family who’d have their own six Pokemon, but don’t think about what they’d have just consider the fact)
    3) What changes would you make to your house to keep all your mons happy?

    Reply
    • 1) Chandelure, Gallade, Galvantula, Gliscor, Porygon-Z, Weavile

      2) Lol not very well, this is six Pkms after all, and we don’t even have enough space. So I’d have to keep them in balls and get outside sometimes to release them. I wouldn’t mind removing one or two tbh

      3) How do I even do that without changing the entire apartment, better to move to another house

    • 1) Irl Dream Team: Kantonian Ninetales/Primarina/Sawsbuck/Vivillon/Stoutland (based on animals around my area with a bit of leeway)
      2) Meh-ish size house for Scotland so if they stay in their lane the only real issue would be the stairs and getting water for Primarina.
      3) It’d probably be a bit bigger if Pokemon were real anyway because everyone would need more space (and I’d imagine there’d be less humans competing for space) so besides getting like IDK a pool for Prima there’s little issue.

Rhy 7’10” (my Rhyperior Trainersona-wise is slightly bigger at maybe 8’2″
Emboar 5’03” (it pains me that i’m taller than Emboar)
          Hera 4’11” (and 5’7″)
          Pan 6’11”
          Goli 6’07”
          Aero 5’11” (and 6’11 Mega’d)

          Deez are big bois

          • Aero wouldn’t of been in a house regardless of size due to wingspan and besides doors the only one that would really inconvenience you is Rhyperior with how tall it is, maybe Goliso for not being able to squeeze through thanks to its appendages. Goro should be fine traversing the house if it isn’t knocking stuff of the walls by accident.

And your megas probably wouldn’t be in your house :p

          • i’d probably need a gigantic tank for Golisopod to stay hydrated
a large sandy pit for Rhyperior to wallow in
Pagoro need foresty piles of leaves to be comfortable
i’d need a large stone roost for Aero
and Emboar can bunk with Rhy
Heracross is the only one that can happily live in the big tree in my backyard

  75. Remember when Cheren was first shown and people thought he was a a female gym leader? Little did they know that they would eventually be half right hahaha

  77. My one and only problem with Colress in SM/USUM is that he is constantly playing with his arm computer thing. He’s not even doing anything with it most of the time……I wish it made more sense……Other than that I love Colress so more of him in every gen would make me VERY happy!

    Reply
      • Right? I know they wanted to make it part of his theme, but it was more annoying and didn’t quite make sense.

        Reply
    • The other thing that I had a problem with is that it didn’t make sense was that B/W Ghetsis was angry with Colress when Colress isn’t introduced until later in the timeline. It’s of course possible that Ghetsis knew who Colress was before Ghetsis failed during the events of BW, but why would he be angry with him? It seemed to me that Gamefreak again didn’t know what they were doing with timelines

      Reply
      • I always got the feeling that they did know each other prior to BW2 and that since Colress wasn’t really an evil person at all Ghetsis had always kind of had a problem with him. I get the feeling Ghetsis never really liked him, but was willing to put up with it as Colress had the tech he needed.

      • He knew colress from before and was angry because Colress shouldn’t hold anything against him but he did because Ghetsis failed in that colress’ timeine

  79. Hey, I know this isn’t that topical to the article, but if I have watched a good show I would want to recommend it to as many people as possible and that includes all of you. I just finished binging Devilman Crybaby on Netflix. The original manga that it was adapted from ran from 1972 to 1973. Over nearly 50 years since it was originally published the work has had many adaptions and accompanying works. However, none of them was a true adaption of the source material. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this is the anime adaption that I and many others have been waiting for. Deviations from the original story and dialogue were made in this adaption, but that was to make the story more contemporary. (Since the themes of the original manga reflected concerns of the Cold War such as a similar manga called Cyborg 009 had).I know it is a bit early to say this since the year has begun, but this will probably my favorite anime this year. It is on Netflix so it is pretty easy to access for those with a subscription. Forewarning, this show is for mature audiences and should not be watched by children. To give you an example of what I mean, in the first episode a women’s breast ate the upper half of another human. I reiterate this is on Netflix, I am kind of suprised that the company was okay with showing scenes like those. To end this on a more personal note, I will try to post more often and to keep it Pokemon related-no promises if a Drought Torkoal pops up and there is no new Pokémon news for a while leading me to post about other stuff like this lengthy comment. If you have read to this last sentence you can redeem 1 Dae Star at the end of this year.

      • Yea it is quite dark. I have not watched the Little Witch Academia Anime on Netflix. I have heard a couple opinions that the anime pales when compared to the OVA that first caught the General public’a attention. What do you think of it?

        • I think it’s great. The characters are great, it has an amazing score, it’s got great action and humor, and the animation itself is something I love. I love Trigger animation, and it’s personally my favorite style of animation for anime, but that’s besides the points. I loved the OVAs, but I think the anime is better.

          • Nice, I might watch that since I still have a week of winter break left, but my parents will be consuming a lot of that time since it will be one my last breaks with them. In addition to what I have said before about Devilman Crybaby, you might end up being a Crybaby at the end of the series. If I didn’t already know the plot there would have definitely been many moments where I would have cried.

  80. There’s almost no place to grind outside of Striaton city before the gym battle…….I ultimately had to go in at lvl 11 and hope that the X defend and speed would allow me enough of an edge to beat Cilan. Was able to do it, but there really should be a better place……If you beat all the trainer before the gym you’re basically stuck if you wanna use the Pan monkeys

  81. Just watched the new Steven Universe episode today. I really did not like it. It might, no it is, worse than the Slice of Life episodes that are common in this series. Now I want to rewatch Devilman Crybaby as I don’t want to end my day after watching this episode. I’ll probably will rewatch it eventually because I just found out it has an English Dub which is also good on Netflix.

  82. I’ve only played 18 hours of Xenoblade 2 and I already love it so much! It’s just so fun to play (and funny to watch the cutscenes!) I can tell I’m not going to be able to put this game down for a long while. However, I saw the estimated story length being 65.5 hours and I just don’t see that happening since I’m a ways through Chapter 4 at this point. I guess I’ll have to wait and see.

    • Maybe, but seems unlikely. A supposed proven leaker of stuff (not Pokemon specifically) said there is a chance they may show a small teaser, but who knows. I’m still gonna hold steady that they first need to show the final gen 7 Mythical before they reveal any actual news on the Switch game.

        • Actually, it was magearna as a new mystery pokemon, then volcanion alongside the movie when magearna had a role, then sun and moon reveal shortly after, they usually start with a mythical or special pokemon each gen.
          Gen II was Togepi
Gen III was actually the only one i cannot remember, sorry…
Gen IV was Manaphy, Munchlax, Weavile and Lucario
          Gen V was Zoroark,
Gen VI was the only gen that caught me by surprise, as the titles were announced at first pokemon glance.
          Gen VII was Magearna.
5/6 possible sequel gens isn’t a bad guess to say we’ll either get another Gen 6 scenario, or a new pokemon first.

  83. I finally watched the new SU episodes and they were pretty good! One scene was weird and the animation was sometimes lacking (tho the backdrops are great), but I liked it! It had a lot of creativity and pretty good storytelling. I really like how they handled Pink Diamond’s face reveal I think if SU got a new animation team, or the current one worked harder and maybe Rebecca Sugar wrote more episodes with less filler, SU could be much better, even tho it is good now.
