We’re just days away from 2018 which happens to be a “Year of the Dog” according to the Chinese Zodiac. In Japan, the country of origin for the Pokémon series, there are reminders everywhere as New Years draws near. There are also plenty of dog-like Pokémon now in the series, so many so that it might be hard to just pick one favorite but today we challenge you to do just that! What is your favorite dog (or dog-like) Pokémon?!

    • For non-packaged games: Minecraft, Stardew Valley, Rocket League, Overcooked, Snipperclips Plus, Shovel Knight (if you have Pro controller), wait for Terraria.

      For packaged games that you rather want digitally: Zelda (or the DLC if you have it already), Mario Odyssey, MK8D, Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

      There’s like fifteen other games out there that are must buy, but 70 will only get you so far :P.

  11. Bad news. Crobatair, the RR leaker and friends with PokeSirena said this on Bulbagarden Forums regarding the deleted Tieba forum leak: “I’m acquainted with one of administrators. He checked the background process and confirmed that it wasn’t a self-deletion. Also that administrator who executed operations seemed to have some connections with inner leakers. The famous Chinese leaks for sun and moon were also deleted by him at first, then later appeared on 4chan. So ‘Kanto remake’ is definitely one of the most trustworthy leaks so far. I stand on it.”

    • Uhh, there already WAS a Kanto remake. If they’re thinking of a SECOND Kanto remake happening soon, well I’ll be pleasantly popping their nostalgic bubble for them, there is no way that Kanto will get a 2ND remake whereas Gen 4 and onwards must wait their turn and give up their spot in the line for Kanto just because it’s “nostalgic” and “original”. Besides, Alola basically had Kanto revamps, with the Gym, tons of the Pokemon and a whole lotta references to there, we don’t need second remakes of a game yet.

    • Omg, If we get ANOTHER Kanto REMAKE, with no new pokemon, no lasting post game, and for it to be the first console on the switch. I would be soooo done with the game. I wouldn’t get it honestly. I’m sick of all this Kanto pandering. And seeing the USUM RR ending with giovanni cliffhanger, it already seems like we are getting Kanto pandering next game, but the whole game on Kanto remake. Unbelieveable…

      • I know right! I get that kanto starter the series but the pandering or it is getting way out of hand. From charizard and mewtwo getting two Megas to alolan forms only being for kanto mons it’s annoying at this point

        • Ah, so it’s a new generation, but they’re too lazy to come up with a new region so they lazily use the excuse of it being a “reboot” of Kanto.

        • If we are actually going back to kanto I hope this is true x.x I am seriously getting tired of all the kanto pandering. We get it. It’s the first gen that started the franchise but can you please give it a break

    • Having a Kanto remake as the first switch game is a VERY safe move from GF part and also the fact that we’ve been in that region a crapton of times already, but oh well, maybe they finally make Kanto an interesting region for once and add Johto and add the necessary stuff to maye make it worth visiting again.

      But honestly, a new region is such a much better option because it’ll have a totally and completely new experience for everybody but oh well, gotta pander to Kanto like they’ve been doing for the past 6th and 7th generation -_-

  21. Rockruff and lycanroc day. I instantly loved both when they were revealed! Kind of have a soft spot for them because they remind me of my dog who passed away in 2011. Actually nicknamed the rockruff I used in my first sun playthrough after him. Brownie.
