Generation III Now Live in Pokémon GO!

It’s time to get out and GO!

The latest update for Pokémon GO has gone live and introduces a few new (but previously reported on) features to the game:

  • Added 50 Pokémon native to the Hoenn region
  • Added new weather conditions and their associated benefits and disadvantages
  • Added the ability to create Battle Parties – allowing you to create set teams for specific raids

We’ll update this post with a full list of the newly added Pokémon, moves and everything in between – stay tuned!

    • Although I’m not Earthen, I’d say that it’s definitely worth the money. Challenging, tons of puzzles, one-hit challenge at the start that can be compared to Galaxy’s Daredevil comets, amazing ending plot twist boss, cute new cutscenes, amazing new rune, etc…

      And it will keep you busy, I tell you it was not a small DLC it was pretty decent definitely took me all day yesterday to go through it blind, but I don’t like to force it on people

      Either buy it and enjoy it or not and just live with it

  4. BTW, for anyone playing The Champion’s Ballad and forgot to take pictures of Monk Maz Koshia, Igneo Talus Titan or Molduking , all you need to do is just re-encounter it, and for the boss, you’re allowed to immediately leave after that and keep the pic.

  7. Initialisms are what most things we call Acronyms actually are, because Acronyms actually have to be pronouncable as a word, so NASA is an Acronym, and FBI is an Initialism.

  8. So we’ve Determined if you add all Cross Gen Relatives to the Kanto Pokedex it adds 31 Pokemon, making the total 182, or 183 if we add Miltank since it’s a Counterpart to Tauros, or 184 if we also add Heracross as it is a counterpart to Pinsir.

  9. There are some Real Questions somebody needs to ask a Pokemon Dev
    1. Why can’t Nidorina and Nidoqueen Breed, it seemed like a Glitch in Gold and Silver, but yet it remains to this day.

    • The first one actually is quite simple why only Nidoran can breed from the group of 6

      It’s due to fact of Genders, as the forms share a very unique trait of sharing a dex entry, but having two seperate gender ratio’s at 100% (Forms still have have typical ratio’s of 50/50, 87.5/12.5, 75/25, etc.), but Nidoran is basically two seperate Pokémon that are still similar enough to be classified as the same.

      This sets the difficulty of the process as if Nidoking and Queen bred the computer would have an anomaly in its hands of which form becomes the gender of the child and which doesn’t as it would be set to need to calculate 100% or 100% which it is incapable of doing as it wasn’t programmed that way.

      It could possibly be a simple fix on GF’s part, but instead they decided to just sterilize the evolutions. I hope you can make heads or tails of my post

    Slice of life BOTW

    With Calamity Ganon defeated, Link returns home in Hateno Village and lives his life like a regular person

    -Woke up
    -Made a omelet
    -cut grass outside his house
    -chopped wood
    -harvested apples
    -made lunch
    -bought groceries
    -talked er…stood close to villagers as they talked
    -rode a horse for a while
    -took a bath in the pond
    -made dinner
    -went to bed

    • Don’t forget:
      – 1 hour leisure drive on Master Cycle.
      – Tinker with remains of Guardians and create sculptures and other useless trinkets.
      – Host a dinner for Paya and Zelda.

          • I have a Crazy Turbine “Powered” car, which uses the flowing air created by the car’s movement to turn tubines to create electricity to reduce power consumption.

          • Fun fact: you’re the one supplying the power to the turbines by increasing load on the engine. Source: I’m an engineer.

          • There’s no real calculation involved, just some basic newton’s laws and first law of thermodynamics. First air speed to ground = almost zero relative to car. The second, the force the moving air exerts on the turbine has to be compensated by the car, and since it moves that means extra work (energy). Combining these two makes it clear that the car is powering the turbine. (compared to a wind turbines, which stands still and the air moves, and the axial force the air exerts does no work).

          • Well, you do extract a little bit of energy from the air, but you’ll only extract as much as (wind speed relative to ground – wind speed after leaving (which can be zero)). That’s never enough for the drag it causes.

          • So as I thought, the Increased Drag would outweigh the potential amount of energy generated by the air being displaced by the moving car pushing the turbine

  12. Super Mario RPG is F****** B***S***!! I spent so long trying to beat the Czar Dragon and I finally did it, then a group of KNOCKOFF POWER RANGERS stole my star and killed me! AND I THOUGHT I WOULD BE ABLE TO SAVE! BUT NOOOOO!

      • This is some seriously hardcore stuff, I don’t think I can handle it…especially considering how I can’t save (unless I backtrack but I’m not sure if I can, and I’m never going to beat that damn dragon again). And there are still some harder bosses after this, assuming I ever beat this part at all. I’m calling it quits for now, I’m pretty peeved.

  18. Well that’s something interesting I have already rehit the mark I left before changing up my Fan game Howlite as I had at least 90 Pokémon and I have rereatched that mark now on to 208!

    Fun fact already 10% of the whole Dex is Water type as of now, but some stages of some at be dropped and some ideas completely dropped

    Also why don’t we have a Plankton Pokémon yet? I’m making one to compensate

      • I think the reason of the pushing Zoraora in the 7th gen is cuz they wouldn’t to introduce any gen 8 pkmn in the next movie ………I think Zoraora will act like a hero against Necrozma and the UBs.

          • Introduce new mon in the movie is very delusional idea …..for sure the movie will be about Necrozma and the UBs and now we have Zoraora …the movie can’t handle more than these…..wat happened in the past is not my business …we should analyze the present.

          • Necrozma and the UBs can easily be in the main anime because the Mother Beast plot has already been done and they haven’t even reached Ula’ula yet.

            Movie 21 will mean that Alola had used all three of its mythicals. Magearna was revealed before SuMo. Mega Mewtwo Y wasn’t revealed before XY iirc, but we knew we’d probably have a Gen 6 Pokémon in the Genesect movie because Genesect was revealed so early. This can easily happen again with Zeraora being revealed soon and then we get a new Pokémon revealed in February time.

            There’s nothing but Zeraora left to surprise is about in the movie. The surprise of the Keldeo movie was Keldeo being revealed and then it getting a form. The surprise of the Shaymin movie was the same, which is also true of the Hoopa and Diancie movies, as they had forms in upcoming or recent games to show. Zeraora can’t get a new form as it doesn’t have one in USUM, unless it gets one in Gen 8 in which case they’d still be promoting Gen 8 which a new Pokémon also accomplishes.

            You know what other mythical didn’t have a form or anything? Volcanion. You know what got revealed in Volcanion’s movie? Magearna, a new Pokémon. A new Pokémon may not be in the movie but you’re the delusional one if you think that it’s impossible. You are (thankfully) not the person in charge of the movie lol

          • It’s not GameFreak who markets these things alone lol, it’s the marketing that pushes GameFreak to do things.

            And I never said it will happen, I said it could happen. Maybe apply the time you take ‘loughing’ and use it to learn how to spell ‘laughing’.
