The trailer for next year’s Pokémon movie has been officially released on YouTube after airing earlier this morning on Japanese television. It has revealed that they are partnering with OLM and that it features a slightly new look for the anime.

Although “Pokemon: I Choose You!” had its shortcomings narratively (the animation was gorgeous), it was nonetheless a very solid effort from a studio and director that seemed to be churning out copy-and-paste versions of the same film. A breath of fresh air so to speak. Thus, I am profoundly joyous about this particular film; reminds me of the Sinnoh Trilogy. Conclusively, the girl looks very much reminiscent of Plumeria. Excited for this film. Should be another solid offering. However, this partnership with OLM is not new. Almost every single Pokemon movie has been created in partnership with OLM, Inc.

As for moii
1. Power of one: Need I say more. What an epic movie and adventure. The plot was great, the setting and so much nostalgia!
2. Lucario Mystery of Mew: Probably the best movie quality wise in terms of creativity, plot etc Awesome movie.
3. This is tough. I guess Jirachi wishmaker!
Honorable mentions. The original movie, movie 4 and 5!
1. Destiny Deoxys – I actually watched it again the other day and it made me cry. It’s an interesting story and I love the setting and Deoxys.
2. The Power of One – I have fond memories of watching it with my Mom and Sister when it came out in the theaters.
3. This is tough. I guess I’d say Mewtwo Strikes Back. Just because, first movie is always best movie. Lol. In all seriousness, loved this movie too. Mewtwo is among one of my favoirte Psychic type Pokemon to this day.

2) Rings of Hoopa I found the part where Hoopa pushed Team Rocket into a random ring hilarious. Plus I found his beast form bone-tickling.

This honestly gave me real happy nostalgia and gave a lot of hope in life (it actually is my third favorite movie of this year and second overall in my life)

Did you need to ask? Favorite Pokémon is Weavile, Great story, good memories, the Regi’s voices are lit! Honestly never thought it could be topped
3.) Pokémon 3 the movie
Great plot, interesting ideas, Totodile beat a dang Granbull in one hit! Love it!

In no particular order:
Pokemon Heroes, Jirachi Wish Maker, Lucario and the Mystery of Mew
For me it’s:
1. Mewtwo Strikes Back – has a pretty dark story with cloning and all that, sure it’s flawed and I hate they removed the young Mewtwo scene completely, but it’s still my favourite. I love the clone Starters, some great Gen 1 Pokemon see action and I really like Mewtwo in this. It also has major nostalgia for me of course, I saw it in the cinema which was amazing to me at the time. Also first look at Donphan.
2. Spell of the Unown – I really like Entei in this, and I enjoy the imagination battles Molly has with our heroes. Also the beginning has a really nice battle with Aipom in. The crystal takeover of the house looked really nice to me and I enjoy the showdown between Charizard and Entei.
3. I choose you! – Mostly because I don’t remember or haven’t seen many of the others. I actually probably prefer the second movie but I haven’t seen it in so long.
1) Rise of Darkrai. I just love this one because it’s emotional without being too cheesy. And Oracion is amazing! Super surprised no one else has this in their top 3..
2) The First Movie. What can I say? I’m a 90’s baby. This one is too nostalgic not to love for me.
3) Jirachi Wish Maker. Love the action scenes in this one. Very fun
Yes! I also love the Rise of Darkrai…I’m ashamed for not including it
All I’m saying is that if Oracion doesnt hit you with the feels, you probably don’t have a soul

Just finished US (well, the main game anyway, which is more than enough of this boring generation for me), and I was bothered by something that Has been bothering me since Sun and Moon. Why does no one talk about how Olivia is clearly helping Aether and Skull? The Aether employees found in Diglett Tunnel are definitely notorious to me and are directly related to her. Then when you get out of the tunnel you head to her shop, where she’s conveniently not at. She tells you to go to the Tapu shrine, before which you’re ambushed by Plumeria. This was clearly a plan to slow you from progressing, yet in the end Olivia is made E4. I don’t get it, man.
Disqus is being stupid again so I can’t upload the image I just saved, but at 12-13 seconds in the trailer you can see that Ash has that same red and yellow on the fringes of his jacket. It’s a very deliberate design choice, making Spain (or China) seem like a likely candidate for Gen 8…unless we’re just looking into it too much.
Another thing. The girl has two very interesting streaks of color in her hair…where have I seen those before?

Although the partnership with OLM is not new, OLM has partnered with Wit Studio to create this project. Wit Studio is responsible for Attack on Titan, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, and The Ancient Magus’ Bride.

I just need to get this off my chest because I cannot bottle my excitement within myself any longer. I’M SO EXCITED FOR MEDIA MOLECULE’S DREAMS. Like, equally as excited as a I was for Breath of the Wild. I felt old this evening when I realized that LittleBigPlanet launched in October 2008 – assuming Dreams comes out around that time of the year, it will likely be a 10-YEAR anniversary celebration for LBP. That game defined my childhood right alongside Pokemon and Nintendo as a whole. To blow your mind even further, its possible to recreate all of LBP and LBP2 WITHIN DREAMS, since you can create 2D or 3D worlds, your own characters, import music, create logic systems, everything. In every way, this is the spiritual successor to one of the best games ever, since it basically does the same thing as LBP in a 3D space. Imagine having one eye for your whole life and then magically getting binocular vision – that’s basically what Dreams is. Mind-blowing stuff. Also, the PS Move and PSVR technology will make it the all-around perfect experience. I have to stop typing at some point, so I’m going to post the trailer for the game shown at PSX. 2018 will be glorious. Xatu out.

So I just played salmon run on splatoon and ended up getting put alone. This has never happened before. Needless to say I was destroyed in the first wave lol wasn’t expecting that at all

And considering that GF and Nintendo said they may have the gen 8 switch game by this time next year there will probably be a gen 8 pokemon featured too as a preview to the next games as its always been in the past. I’m really interested about the idea of it being a continuation of Movie 20.

I was wondering where this was, it was talked about ages ago and I knew nothing about it until now.
You know, if there’s one compliment I can really give USUM it’s that the difficulty is pretty good. I don’t know who did it, but someone on Gamefreak’s staff woke the hell up and decided to turn it up a notch (and I’m not talking about THAT battle either).
Thinking about it hindsight, I find it glorious that right in the beginning, they set you up against a pokemon that’s certain to do you in at the trainer school. I love it honestly. It’s a nice wake up call to the player telling them to get ready for more things to come.
However, I guess in some cases the difficulty is debatable. For example, with Totems, while they are harder in USUM, I always felt that the 2 on 1 fight was always setting up the player for some sort of unfair advantage. It’s not bad, but I really want to see more of what could be done with it. If that really happens…
