It’s time to get out and GO!
The latest update for Pokémon GO has gone live and introduces a few new (but previously reported on) features to the game:
- Added 50 Pokémon native to the Hoenn region
- Added new weather conditions and their associated benefits and disadvantages
- Added the ability to create Battle Parties – allowing you to create set teams for specific raids
We’ll update this post with a full list of the newly added Pokémon, moves and everything in between – stay tuned!
Gen 7 and BoTW both Disappointed me with the LACK OF PUZZLES.
Pokémon has rarely ever had good puzzles since Gen IV imo
Gen 5 at least had different ones between BW and B2W2

The Scale of the DB is a little small, which is a common complaint. I expected like one Leg of the Camel to have Multiple Medium-Sized Rooms in a tower Formation.

At least there’s ZC, a program/Engine that originally was designed to mimic Zelda 1 but now has limited Scripting capabilities and Hookshots and stuff
There were a Lot of Puzzles in BotW, they were shorter individual ones too… Also we only had Bombs Ice Pillar Stop Time Magneto and Arrows and Occasionally Fire Arrows to work with. Not to say they were able to pull off a myriad of puzzles with them.
No I mean… the beasts themselves were the puzzles
I know that too, THAT PART WAS FLIPPIN AWESOME… I do think scale was bad though. I was thinking maybe a big Circular room as Part of a Leg of the Camel One
Am I wrong in thinking Chandelure is one of the most beautiful pokemon? Its design isn’t overly complex, but it’s very pleasing to look at.

Its Moveset bothers me Like almost all Stone Evolutions.
You mean like how it doesn’t learn moves after evolving?
Yes, that Always freaks me out. I don’t think I’ve ever used a Stone Evolution Pokemon because of that Either, except Eevee because Eeveelutions don’t do that for the obvious reasons.
I just hate how it basically forces you to wait forever to use the stone

It’s certainly very underrated. Maybe not as much now, but at the time it was sadly lumped together with Trubbish and Vanilluxe

I just like ones that are creative/cool in their design. They don’t necessarily have to be fun to solve or anything

Yeah I forgot to mention her second one is cool too. Just slightly less so. I like how the rollercoaster fits the theme park, though the fashion show fits her personality better. So it’s a win win either way

To go the Fashion show you had to do the Roller Coaster again and then you could get in.

Anyone here Ever Designed their own Gym Puzzle?
Mines a mix of a dark maze with strength and rock smash boulders

Dark, like Brawly.
In my head. A dark type gym in a castle. You go through different rooms traversing the castle. Basically it’s a mystery on how you get to the leader, but through clues you find secret passages and rooms, which will eventually lead you to a dumbwaiter that takes you up to the tallest spire, which is a secret library overlook tower holding the gym leader. This would be the 8th gym so it would be quite expansive

Maybe best competitively. But looks wise to me it’s ugly. The anime it did give it good appearances. But it’s not a Water type or have a perfect throughout evolution line *cough Chicken wing second stage cough*
Blaziken looks pretty cool to me, which holds the title of best Fire-type Starter to me. But I do respect your opinion. Emboar on the other hand, imo, is the worst Fire Starter.

It goes to Delphox, Serperior and Blaziken (Still think Blaziken didn’t deserve an early mega)
Who do you think is preferred out of Samurott and Empoleon? Both are amazing to me, but I have a hard time edging either one for top spot (and they both edged Swapmert).
I’d say Samurott imo, but Empoleon is a close second for me

Samurott is the most awkward starter Pokemon.
It’s samurai without the fighting type or steel type
It has two swords like its a dual wielder like Dewott, but Its quadrapdel so it can’t use two swords and can only use one. How weird is that. And it’s the worst water starter in battle

And in-game its the most fun of Unova to use its moves are diverse enough to battle really well tho in BW2 I actually got lucky and it learned Megahorn
And Blaziken started a trend that would drone on until gen 6
Trapinch has the same base ATK as Flygon.

Lycanroc is the First Pokemon I’ve used in two Consecutive Playthroughs since Gen 5 with Samurott(of which I actually used 3 times since I lost my first White Cart and bought a new one, later found the old one and reset it to serperior)

Canonically speaking, Lance is no longer in the indigo league as he was unseated in HGSS. Though I suppose it’s possible Kukui did the league long enough ago for Lance to still be in the E4

I had been there, done that. My first Pokemon game is Emerald, so on that Christmas, I stayed in that chair all day. They nicknamed me Chairla because of it.
Cute on one Christmas I got Kirby Squeek Squad and beat it the same day

After playing Pokémon Go for 10 minutes, I am not sure if I am getting lucky with what I am catching right now. I have only caught a Spoink, Gulpin, and Skitty in the game. Also I have just fought against Guzma for the second time in UM. I am officially underleveled now compared to the Trainers. Guess I am going to have to grind a little.
