The final countdown is on until new footage is shown of Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon on Japanese children’s show Oha Suta!

  1. Just realized something. the part with Lusamine is located at the Altar of the Sunne/moone. that means that the event must happen very differently than it does in SM

  3. i gotta say the dark tone of the game is nice. and i think ive finally realized. i stop expecting too much. yes, usum still leaves me questionable on how much i really want to or care to play but its so obvious that these games are completely story driven which i guess is nice since the presence of a story in sun and moon was something i enjoyed about them

  4. Ok so this leak feels like it’s getting more and more real. Certainly still many things that aren’t checked off yet and even some that don’t really seems like they’d be a thing at this point, but still it’s quite interesting. The fact that they called the USUM initials right off the bat is quite intriguing. Now however we have even more things to wonder about. They got Necrozma getting new forms, new Z moves (but honestly no duh), new UBs, and while it’s a bit cryptic I still believe the comment about the camera stuff is more of hint about the new photo club than it is them literally saying it won’t be in there. They got all that more or less right. It’s certainly something to keep an eye on in the coming weeks as we get our last trailers in the run up to the games.

      • Well yeah that’s fair, but the idea that it’s two formS rather than a single form is something to note. Back then not only did we not even know the games existed, but we also had no idea Necrozma would absorb Solgaleo and Lunala making TWO distinct forms. For all we knew it would just get a single new form to combat the two of them.

        • well look at kyurem, 2 forms one with each of the 2 main dragons of the respective game. bw2 are probably the most comparable to usum. but to clarify, giratina was the third dragon of sinnoh, it got a new form in the third game of sinnoh. kyurem was unova’s third dragon, it got new forms in the third game of unova. then kalos had zygarde which got a form in sun and moon since Z never was. so really not a surprise

          • Not saying that a new form in general is a surprise, but knowing that Necrozma would get more than one form is a bit interesting. Sure Kyurem got two new forms, but up until USUM the favor was in the third legends getting a single one. Kyurem had 2, Giratina had one, and (while not really a form per say) Rayquaza eventually got a single mega. Plus at this point it’s looking like Necrozma will get a third form if that light being is anything to look further into. So yeah I’d while it’s not super crazy, it’s still impressive to guess that Necrozma would get more than one form.

          • but kyurem got 2, and zygarde got 2 (dog and 100%), now necrozma has 2. it seems to have followed a pattern since unova. zygarde actually got like 4 forms but only the battling ones i counted

          • Well idk if I’d call that a pattern, but whatever. Either way I’d say this leak is an interesting one and deserves to be at least kept an eye on

          • i was actually about to post the exact opposite. take it with a grain of salt. its not even a leak unless its all confirmed, rn its a rumor. rumors are meant to hype people because of the fact that info gets leaked early all the time so people are using the fact to start rumors.

          • lol im not trying to sound negative or trying to like push you for hyping or anything. im just very against rumors because i remember the sun and moon rumors and they werent close. they get you hyped only to put you down when you dont get what you think you were getting

          • No not at all I’m fine with having different opinions. That’s what makes this place great. That said I’d have disagree with you about the SM rumors last year being wrong, but that’s not something I want to argue about hahaha

  9. Epic trailer. Interesting changes have indeed been made to the story nice to see more of those mysterious people and I wonder who Lusamine is talking about, and that new area with Necrozma looks super rad. Even more excited now.

  12. Wow… this looks pretty intense. Now what do you think: will these be more of a sequel than just an enhanced version? I don’t have much experience with third versions (didn’t play DP, only Pl), and I haven’t played B2W2 yet.

    P.S.: I’ve been whining forever about the lack of National Dex in SunMoon, and I noticed something: the upcoming game guides for USUM are the walkthrough one and the complete National Pokedex. Happy about that.

  15. Alright so here is why I’ve gone from uninterested to super nervous about one main thing. Cutscenes

    Unless your game is an adventure game like Life is Strange or A Tell Tale game, cutscenes are not content. Especially so when the cutscene has been shown in a trailer before the game has even come out

    So I worry that they will mistake cutscenes for new and exciting content because they are flashy and really good looking on the 3DS hardware. Not because they are the best way to progress the plot.

    A second thing is, this is going to reduce replay value if you can’t skip them which you probably can’t. Because instead of playing the actual game, it is interrupted by a cutscene you have already seen before and have no way to skip. It’s like reading a book then every time you turn a particular you have to put the book down and watch the same YouTube video. Every single time you turn a page.

    I am happy to see that they are making the plot different.

  25. Nyrrrrhhhh…..tired but I watched the new episode
    It honestly was a snoozer, yeah the whole Cosmog being born thing and the introduction of the Aether Foundation and the Ultra Beasts were the only highlights of the episode and very little excitement p
    Hopefully things will pick up

    Also I want to know the whole Lusamine Lillie dealio is, why was she fussing over evolving a Clefairy
