The final countdown is on until new footage is shown of Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon on Japanese children’s show Oha Suta!

  2. The quote from the trailer about a sign of darkness is immediately followed by what looks to be an eclipse? Could we be getting a Team Eclipse? And would they rival the Aether Foundation? 😮

    • Well from Lusamine saying that something is a monster after fainting, I think that we can assume that the Aether Foundation won’t be bringing their “A” game in USUM. Or tentacles.

Random ass theory: what if those Ultra Spacey looking people either have teams full of Ultra Space Variants (way less likely), or full of Pokemon with Totem Auras (more likely), as well as some of the UBs? Really hope if these characters are from Ultra Space they run with that to deliver good fights!

  7. I swear to god if they’ve just been holding out on the biggest stuff up until now I might freak out. Obviously USUM are very different compared to SM. That much is clear. If there’s even more that we don’t know yet like new Aloan forms/characters/etc then USUM might just be the best kept secret ever. Maybe even to a fault.

      • Very true, but I fear that the start of all this has soured things for people a bit. they started off on the wrong foot and many people are still probably trying to process how they feel about these games. I know I am. No matter what I’m sure it’ll be fun and amazing, but I don’t want to finish playing them and having a feeling like I wanted more out of them.

        By overhype! The story looks so hype and dramatic, like we’ve never gotten something so urgent feeling and the Necrozma Nebby fight even tho they’re just balls of light looks like it’ll be amazing!

          In other words GF know how to make good stories.

  12. So what do peeps think the orb of light is that Necroman is grabbing? It’s not the same color of Solgaleo or Lunala so it has to be something different. I doubt it’s a Pokemon, but I’d imagine it’s whatever turns Necroman into the bright light form

    • I think it’ll be represented as an item in game, but it’ll actually be a missing part of Necrozma: its own light, and the lack of it is what causes it to attack Nebby.

      but yes its supposed to be a representation of life/light of the world because necrozma represents death/darkness
      it is stealing the light of the world and thus ending life as we know it

  14. You have to admit, it’s pretty darn cool that they’re adding (at least) a few new Pokémon and a new villain team, along with a bunch of new cutscenes. Think back to Platinum and how the biggest thing they added for Team Galactic was a short scene featuring a bunch of Grunts in a room.

    • Platinum was basically a fixer-up for DP. Fixed the dex, prettified the overworld, improved the boss fights (three things Emerald and USUM also did/are doing, though the Dex fix was needed more for DP). When it comes to new content, it was mostly ‘just’ the Battle Frontier and extra dialogue here and there.

    • well rn its still just 2 new pokemon and 3 new forms. nothing too great but the new team is pretty cool. this makes 3 teams; skull, new team, and the facility or whatever it was called in sun and moon with Lusamine. 1 more than rse

  15. I mean seriously. Just when you thought the stakes were high in SM USUM take it one step further. I can’t believe they’re seemingly making a Pokemon the bad guy for once. Could be a really cool change

    • I mean tbh, SuMo’s stakes become lower after you remove Lusamine’s ability to create as much wormholes as she wants, with everything after just being a rescue mission

      Whereas here… Necrozma’s at least got Alola at threat, possibly even the world! If Aether’s still shady the poor protag and Lillie can’t get a break! :p

    • ok as i was talking with my brother i am very conflicted if Necrozma is truly evil
      Yes we’ve seen pokemon do naturally evil things but half the time it is just their natural instinct
      i’ve had theories on the concept of truly evil pokemon and most fall under two catagories
      Evil preformed by abuse
      Evil as a result of its nature

      many pokemon are forced to to bad things by a real villain or their natural abilities come off as harmful to bystanders

      Necrozma so far is shown to be stealing light from Alola but we do not know if this act is committed out of malicious intent or ensuring its own survival

      Example Yveltal absorbs life energy causing death and decay yeah pretty bad but is this done because i’m an asshole or that this is what makes me live longer

      or the idea of Kyurem freezing over Unova a ploy obviously set in motion by Team Plasma

      until we know more about Necrozma’s biology and its role we cannot assume Necrozma is the bad guy for actually intending to do harm or that stealing light is its biology

      • Oh stop it with the flat chest thing…..That’s the dumbest reason to use against it being her. the new character is clearly wearing armor. There’s no way to tell that she has big boobs or not.

          • While all the new team that shown in the trailer have the same color of hair that’s we kinda have this in every gen …….armor part not convincing for me

          • I mean going by the poster from when they were revealed the shorter new character has reddish orange hair so they really don’t ALL have the same hair color. Could just be a coincidence the two in the new trailer have similar colors

        • Boob armor is actually very impractical and would do more harm than good for the female body. I am sure Pokemon is aware of that. Just saiyan if that was where you were going with it.

  18. Well just counted with all Evolutions and Legends (excluding the one mythical)

    I have exactly made 91 Pokémon for Granite Version

    13 of which happen to fall under Grass type so far (I counted that earlier so yay if you love Grass types)

    Flavor text: “The user bursts into a frantic rage to relieve stress”
    In game effect: boosts BP by 10 for each stat change, loses all stat changes afterward and the user reheals 50% of health.

    Broken? Yes for one of the Pokémon who gets it, it’s very broken
