Shiny Tapu Koko Download Event Begins

Players in Europe and North America can now download Shiny Tapu Koko to their copies of Pokémon Sun & Pokémon Moon for the Nintendo 3DS. It has the ability Electric Surge and knows the moves Nature’s Madness, Discharge, Agility, and Electro Ball. Just select ‘Mystery Gift’ from the starting menu and ‘Get Via Internet’! It’s that easy! The event Willa only be available until August 14 however so don’t wait!

This event was available previously in Japan, but has finally made it over to the West to celebrate the release of the Shiny Tapu Koko GX TCG box.

  2. Whelp sounds like the 2018 movie teaser was nothing more that them saying there’s a 2018 movie….Unfortunately no real tease. I wonder why they even bothered not showing it last week in Paris. It’s not like we really needed them to tell us that there’s a movie coming next year…….

    • I mean……even if gen 8 DOES come out next year next year’s movie wouldn’t be about a gen 8 mon necessarily. Movies that start focusing on new gens usually aren’t until the year after a gen starts. Unless they’r planning on pulling another Lucario/Manaphy movie thing I don’t see next year featuring a gen 8 mon front and center. It’s still disappoint tho that they didn’t show anything worth while. It’s not like they really have anything to hide at this point. It would have been better even if we got something like when they showed Ho-oh and Lugia fighting. at least then we’d have something to speculate about.

    • Correct me if I’m wrong, but the last movie of each generation features a pokemon from the next one. Like Lucario/Zoroark/Mewtwo Y/Magearna. Also wouldn’t it be kind of weird for the only Gen 7 movie to not even be in Alola..?

      • I think that would only apply if Gen 8 was actually coming next year, since 2013 was Mega Mewtwo and 2016 was Magearna. So with this logic, we should actually be able to determine whether it’s coming next year based on this movie alone.

    • Really I’m down for anywhere as long as they make it interesting. I would like a polar-type region though. I’m tired of the icy places being lame and out of place and making no sense, like Denedemille Town/Frost Cavern, Mount Lanakila, Shoal Cave….

      • How do any of those not make sense tho?

        – It snows in France, and kinda gets with that whole four seasons theme Kalos does. Also, mountain Kalos, mountain contributing to snow.

        – High Mountain = snow, even in some of the hottest places on earth.

        Can’t think of anything for Shoal Cave but tbh a watery cave is going to be cold anyway and if that’s what attracted Ice-types in Hoenn it’s possible they froze it or some bull

        I mean lame is subjective but I’d argue that at least the first two make perfect sense and aren’t out of place at all

        • Because in Kalos it’s so sudden. It goes from fall land to the arctic in like 0.5 seconds. The whole layout of kalos is just bad anyway, there’s no flow, everything is just thrown together and it’s bad.

          Mount Lanakila and Shoal Cave make enough sense, I guess, but they’re just really lame to me. I want actual snow locations that aren’t out of the blue. Either do it how Sinnoh did it, or do seasons again like Unova.

          • Thing is tho, all the snowy areas in Kalos are explained

            -Frost Cavern appears to be caused by the number of ice types there, or its just because it’s right beside a mountain. This can be seen as Abomasnow intensifies the coldness in Dendemille and it calms done after save it from Flare.

            -The route after Dendemille is where you find wild Snover in Kalos, and that plus its kinda bowl shape makes it obvious as to why snow could easily carry and hold there.

            -The coldness is a bit more subtle as well as Anistar still has your precipitation visible, showing it’s still cold, but not to the level of snow.

    • How are the first two movies rated that bad??
      I mean, I haven’t watched those in forever, but I doubt it’s that bad if I did.
