Shiny Tapu Koko Download Event Begins

Players in Europe and North America can now download Shiny Tapu Koko to their copies of Pokémon Sun & Pokémon Moon for the Nintendo 3DS. It has the ability Electric Surge and knows the moves Nature’s Madness, Discharge, Agility, and Electro Ball. Just select ‘Mystery Gift’ from the starting menu and ‘Get Via Internet’! It’s that easy! The event Willa only be available until August 14 however so don’t wait!

This event was available previously in Japan, but has finally made it over to the West to celebrate the release of the Shiny Tapu Koko GX TCG box.

    Normal/Dragon
    The Milk Stealer Pokemon
    This giant serpent Breaks into people’s houses to steal milk. It can regain its health to max by drinking one cup of milk. Its body is made of milk in 90%.
    Signature Ability:
    Power of Lactose
    Milk drink restores 75% of his HP and has 20 PP

    Goldiwarz (Gold + Atiwar + Warz (weigh in Polish)
    Electric/Flying
    The Gold Distributer Pokemon
    Goldiwarz steals welth from rich people. It sleeps on piles of coin. It gives some of the welth to the poor.
    Signature ability: Take and Give
    Thief has 30PP and 80 power and Pay Day has 25PP and 60 power

  5. Tomorrow (or technically today) is the start of D23 Expo, which only takes place every 2 years! They’ll announce new Marvel, Disney Animation and Pixar projects as well as other footage, like Incredibles 2 most likely. I’m super excited!

  9. I think I want re-work my a Dark/Flying Harpy Pokemon Harpunish
    So I decided to have it have an absolute bitch of prevo called Cookruel which Harpunish lay their eggs inside other bird pokemon’s nests and they raise the gluttonous offspring until it overpowers the pseudo mother figure and step siblings

    And Harpunish unsurprisingly is beyond cruel and enjoys tearing live prey apart savoring its painful screaming

      One of my favorite types. Love their designs and I like how most of them are fast. But they need more good physical pokemon and moves.

      Elesa, she’s important in the story, her gym is awesome and she has a very good design

      Least fav:

      There isn’t a Pokemon that I truly dislike from this type but I guess it’d be Manetric, is not very interesting and it’s mega has a very questionable design

      Sophocles, is boring and the Totem was very easy, but honestly, I kinda liked his trial as easy as it was.

      Electric isn’t a very interesting Type for me, the Mons in this type are mostly pretty uninteresting and boring and there are like two electric trainers that I like, the rest doesn’t quite grab my attention

    • Favorite: Lt. Surge and Electivire: Unsurprisingly Electivire is my favorite but can you blame me? I love it’s body shape and I always liked the Electabuzz line and the idea of it jamming its tails into a opponents and unloading over 20000 volts of electricity flash frying them to a crisp my kinda Pokemon, and as for Surge it’s a soft favorite since the rest I don’t care for
      Least favorite: Rotom and Elesa: I ABSOLUTELY HATE THE ROTOM FORMS ESPECIALLY THAT STUPIDLY BULKY WASHING MACHINE, and for the electric waifu totally not my type
      Thoughts: Electricity is once again a polar opposite for me, focusing in speed and special attacks while ground is slow and physical, other the years I’ve been finding Electric monos more difficult to fight, Thundurus, Wash Rotom Zapdos all bulky that avoids a good Grounding, now I gotta worry about Electric now having a new bulky wall they can take a hit or two that can easily set up or the mass of wires that can use tail glow

    • FP: Manetric. This was such a hard decision. There are so many cool Electric Type Pokemon. But overall Manetric has to be my pick. Its amazing look and battling skills perfectly resemble electric types as a whole. I love its red eyes, or blue eyes when its shiny. Plus its a Hoenn Pokemon. Gotta give props. Also the Mega form looks awesome. I love how its just a lighting bolt. I do wish it used Blue electricity.
      FL: Volkner. I love his attitude because if gym leaders ar barely beaten, you would be very bored. such a cool thing to think of. Also Electric is a good late game Gym type. Glad they made his Ace elective in Platinum

      LP: There is no bad Electric Type :(. Stunfisk. Its just kinda lame. It doesn’t really do much for me. I don’t think its ugly, but there are definitely better picks.
      LL: Sophocles. You made the Festial Plaza! You ruined online!!
      Thoughts: Electric Types are amazing. It was hard choosing favorite and worst. Electric being my second favorite element is probably fueling the bias fire. Definitely top 5 types! I wish there more blue electric types. Blue Lighting pokemon are the best

      A lot of the Pokémon in this type have been known to not have versatile Move pool. That is my only qualm with it.

      LFP: Alolan Golem. I don’t like the back cannon thing or the stubby arms.
      LFL: Sophocles. I don’t like his design.

      Electric is in my top 5 types. I love many of the Pokemon of this type, for their designs and battle prowess. Other Favourites of mine: Elekid+Electabuzz; Raikou; Zekrom; Thunderus(+Therian); Zapdos; Blitzle line; Emolga, Pachirisu; Elektrike line(+Mega); Tynamo line; Pichu line (+Alolan); Mareep line (+Mega); Chinchou line; Minun; Shinx line; Dedenne; Togedemaru; Rotoms; Joltik line; Helioptile line; Charjabug line; Magnemite line and Tapu Koko.

    • Favorite Electric Mon: Heliolisk – I absolutely love the move pool it has
      Favorite Electric Leader: Elesa – I was surprised by how inspiring she was to Bianca in the moment between Bianca and her dad

      Least Favorite Mon: Minun – Nothing really isn’t special or unique about it, and it was tied with Plusle for my least favorite initially, but I ultimately went with Minun as LF.
      Least Favorite Leader: Volkner – He was just… kinda there. Nothing too special about him imo

  23. For those that didn’t see it earlier, I’ve got my second town done! One forest and four routes away from the starting town is Livadi town! To the north is Livadi Academy. This is where you meet the 4th protagonist (you meet the 2nd and 3rd in the starting town) out of 5. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know!

      • Thank you so much! I can’t remember how much time it took to make, but I think it was around 2 hours. It helps that most of the design comes to me in my dreams, so I just need to try and recreate it as much as possible (and improve on it too!)

      • To make the tileset, I edited FR/LG’s one using a program called paint.net
        For the actual map making, I use RPG Maker XP, with the Pokemon Essentials package. I like it more than use a ROM; there’s so much more freedom! (Sorry @StarStorm)

        • You create some of the buildings from scratch using just paint.net? Dayum, some people are really talented. Here I am just learning about how you generate and consume electricity to lets some things rotate.

          • Oh wait no I don’t do the tiles myself. That’s way hard lol! I just recolored some stuff. But all the other spriting (mugshots, trainer sprites, overworlds) I do myself 🙂
