It seems many Nintendo fans are enjoying the company’s new fun and frantic fighting game ARMS for the Switch which has been released to most of the world.
If you’ve got it, or want it, who will you be maining (or choosing as your main character). With a range of silly characters, from a globby DNA-based character to undead mummy, there’s probably one that has caught your attention.
Personally I’m a Kid Cobra stan and luckily my roommate purchased the game so I’ll practice and then hopefully see a few of you online 😉

Tbh, I think I like every starter. The ones that I end up “disliking” are the ones that are horrid in competitive, like Meganium, Torterra, and Samurott.
Im normally like that for every other pokemon, but starter pokemon for some reason I either like or dont!

I think some of it is people still haven’t gotten over the 3x Fire/Fighting starters in a row. Although everyone’s entitled to like/dislike it for whatever reason. I personally have grown to like it more over time.

I just feel it’s just too ghost like, too soft in the texture but that’s me I like clear defined outlines that give the artwork a sense of structure

They’ll likely still use cel-shading for models. It fits rather well for Pokemon. It’s ultimately dependent on the development team and art direction though. I think the Switch is getting Generation 8 at this point.

ARMS is a pleasant surprise, I’ve had tons of fun with it so far and I look forward to taking on the Grand Prix and some competitive matches. So far, Kid Cobra and Ninjara have been wonderful for me, but I’ll be experimenting with everyone!
