New Mobile Game ‘PokéLand’ Announced

PokéLand, a new mobile game for smartphones and tablets, has been announced. The title is now in alpha testing in Japan for Android devices. The game seems to be a follow-up to the Pokémon Rumble series and features stylized Pokémon fighting in real-time. The current version features over 130 monsters to collect.

Although the game is only being tested on the Android platform an iOS release has been confirmed for launch.

Excited?? How do you feel about more mobile Pokémon games?

  1. unpopular opinion but what do you think the next direction of Zelda will be?
i kinda want to see if they’ll make another Touch to move Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks incarnation
this time with Air Travel like Planes or Blimps (and before you say anything Sea, Land and now Air travel)

    • Tbh I don’t think ‘we can be sure’, I wouldn’t be surprised if they got Megas, Z-Moves, or jack shit

Especially since Sinnoh is close in proximity to Hoenn (geographically and in the time line) I can see Megas making a return tbh

      • Well, gen 6 introduced megas, so they were in ORAS. Gen 7 introduced Z-moves, so I think that’s what they’ll focus on in Hoenn remakes. And Z-moves deserve more love, megas have enough of that.

        • I wouldn’t really say Megas have enough love, they weren’t given half the attention Z-Moves got in game (every important trainer but Lusamine, Faba, Guzma and Plumeria had a Z-Move in SuMo’s main story and a bunch of random trainers had them, whereas only three other trainers use Megas in Kalos’s main story and only 3-2 being version exclusive-use Megas in Hoenn’s main story)

I do think they probably will get Z-Moves, but tbh at this point I wouldn’t go as far as to say they’re definitely getting. Unlike the Hoenn, Kalos and Alola Starters, they don’t have moves that are either their signature moves or moves heavily associated with them (but Eevee and Snorlax use random moves they get so it’s not a strong point)

  2. For all Arms players this is important!!!
Apparently you need to beat level 4 of the Grand Prix mode to play ranked

Somebody with Arms is concerned that Kid Cobra is going to be receiving a nerf…
    Apparently he’s REALLY good

  5. Fucking great. I just had the 10 worst Overwatch games ever and ended up with Bronze. Players kept leaving, no one understood that when you group up you don’t die as often and then my little brother came in an did every single thing he could to fuck up my games by annoying my team mates and just annoying me. I’m so fucking sick of him.

    • And yet probably the safest bet is still an enhanced port of Pokken. Gotta get that Empoleon and Scizor into the game somehow.

    • If the next game not about Necrozma I would like RGY remake more than anything else it’s too early for Sinnoh remake.

      Reply
      • Not really? A Sinnoh remake this year would be eleven years after the original – FRLG were eight years after RG (1996 to 2004 compared to 2006 to 2017)

          • I can see ur point but every space theory that about DP r actually fanmade no guarantee about it.

          • What are you on about? ‘Space theory’? Most people think Sinnoh’s next because

            > Day/Night themes

            > Return of various evolution methods introduced in Sinnoh (location, move-based)

            > Sinnoh references (Sinnohan being revealed as the term for things from Sinnoh, the same store having a Mt. Coronet reference)

            > Contrast (Sinnoh is cold, Alola is hot)

            > Patterns (The games so far have been remade in order: Kanto > Johto > Hoenn > ???)

            > Sinnoh has the least amount of Pokémon in the Alola Dex besides Unova and Kalos – and even then, most of the Sinnoh Pokémon in the Alola Dex are evolutions of Pokémon from other gens.

            > Once again, the legendary Pokémon are from other dimensions, or at least reside in other dimensions. We first saw this in Platinum with Giratina

          • He’s referring to the fact that you can obviously get super mega Venublastizard by catching all three Tapus in Heavy Balls, releasing them and catching them again in beast balls

          • Yellow doesn’t make more sense though – at best, they make as much sense as each other.

          • U can’t catch all the 3 starters earlier in the game only yellow allow u to do that …….it’s better to give Pikachu new form or something.

          • Pikachu’s already a bunch of promo stuff for the twentieth anniversary, including the ash hat variations

          • And I said it already got a bunch of promos and shit and has already got a new form last gen

Dude what you want isn’t speculation, it’s a hope

          • Don’t worry life will not end this early u can live and see every remake u want ……no matter wat u say I still want kanto in 3d.

          • It was literally just to cash cow the anime, if they wanted to do that again they could just do it for the current gen

Also, Japanese Blue, Crystal, and Emerald weren’t remade – why should Yellow be? Who’s to say Kanto remakes would even include Yellow’s plot line

    • We really do have a mixed bag of signals now a days. Usually while it’s not a given we get hints towards one singular thing and not a whole bunch of stuff. Could be anything at this point lol

  6. So, any recent E3 rumors? I know that I’d probably know by now if there were any, but I’m eager for some E3 something.

    Reply
    • Surprisingly no, for Nintendo at least. Part of me’s worried we’ll be having a bad E3 it we’re not even getting rumours, but another part is hyped that we might get some cool unexpected/newer stuff

Buzzwole would be perfect for a character
And idkw but I could see A.Persian being in it oddly enough

      • Can we not have another wrestler? I thought Pokken would be varied
So we should obviously have Vikavolt

        Reply
        • Um for wrestlers we have

          > Machamp

          And

          > Machamp

          And

          > Machamp

          Who is not:

          > Two handed
          > Flame-belted
          > Doesn’t have Darkest Lariat
          > A Heel
          > Doesn’t have the perfect Burst Attack in Malicious Moonsault

Dude I’m sorry I know you have a hate boner over Incineroar but you can’t deny it’d fit well

          Reply
          • I’m sayings its ANOTHER BLAND HEAVY WRESTLER
Not even that it’s incineroar, if it was friggin Hawlucha I’d be mad, and I LOVE hawlucha

          • Pikachu Libre isn’t anything like the heavy weight wrestling Pokémon lol

          • How is it bland? We haven’t seen what it’d be like in the game, and there’s only one other ‘heavy wrestler’ in it who doesn’t do dirty fighting or spit fire from its naval

Might as well say Pikachu Libre means we can’t have Hawlucha

          • That does kinda mean that though
What is it doing that other fighters already haven’t done? It fights dirty, but that arguement can be made for weavile

          • What is Hawlucha doing that any other fighter can’t do? Literally at this point you can bullshit that argument for most Pokémon

          • Nothing, it isn’t doing anything
I’m saying if any wrestler Pokemon got in, I’d be upset
plus, i’d rather have more weird choices like Chandelure where they feel unfit for a fighting game but manage to work

          • You do realise it’s a fighting game, right? Yes weird picks should go in, but Pokémon that would actually have their design work well in a fighting game are good for the game as well

          • But we really only have like one weird pick
Plus… we already have three fire starters

          • Literally everything is a weird pick in Pokken tho, only three combatents are based off of traditional fighting styles

And it’s because Fire starters are

            A) Popular and marketable, just by virtue of being starters

            B) Have all been bipedal in their final forms (mid for Braixen) making them easier to animate and utilise

There’s a difference between a weird, but working pick and a ‘this won’t really fit the game design but I want it’ weird

          • I mean weird as in its has no actual hands or limbs sort of thing, a majority of the characters (outside of suicune and Chandelure) have legs, arms, and are humanoid in some shape

But what about water and grass starters who have one each?

          • Simple. Either the devs just didn’t want to pick them because they had impractical/niche designs or they just didn’t feel like they’d fit the game

          • Or because simple humanoid close quarters or comboer is stupidly easy to design for a fighting game

          • Because

            It’s a fighting game

You add another fighter with a different move set

            And they fight other fighters

If it’s easily designed and you can put moves on it that are new or variations of existing moves, you’re going to put it in the game

          • I mean why just add another typical humanoid fighter
Even if its easy, its less memorable

          • For you maybe? Other people might like their move set or their design. Literally every other fighting game has mostly fighting based characters and they do fine because *gasp* fighting game

          • Suiciune – Quadruped
            Croagunk – Odd behaving
Chandelure – Its a freaking Chandelier
            Braixen – Magical girl

That’s like four right there, and whilst the rest might be weird there’s still more ‘weird picks’ than actual fighter picks

          • Is Braixen really weird? I mean that one seems pretty standard
And Croagunk’s the token joke character

The first two are the weird ones

          • A joke is still weird, especially when it’s added content and we already had a joke content

            And weird is subjective

          • Weird as in they aren’t humanoid in some sense, don’t have both arms and legs

          • Why should the devs go out of their way to make more difficult designs when they can make more efficient, easier choices better for the games development? ?

          • And more tedious to develop when you can produce perfectly viable characters that actually match a fighting game better

I thought arguing with earthen was bad

          • Just because it’s ‘weird’ and ‘memorable’ doesn’t make it good. A more efficient character production is going to be better than making everyone ‘super quirky and unique’ because a good design is a good design, regardless if it’s a wrestling tiger who pissess fire from its naval or a fish that flops about and bites sometimes

        • I vote……Incineroar or Bewear
          AND KOMMO-P

or Passimian, i can see a bunch of high mobility tackles and lobs

    • Its design brings to mind western European monarchs, and the way its tail is designed might refer to the Fleur-de-lis and similar designs. The patterns on it also give a very western European vibe
