New Mobile Game ‘PokéLand’ Announced

PokéLand, a new mobile game for smartphones and tablets, has been announced. The title is now in alpha testing in Japan for Android devices. The game seems to be a follow-up to the Pokémon Rumble series and features stylized Pokémon fighting in real-time. The current version features over 130 monsters to collect.

Although the game is only being tested on the Android platform an iOS release has been confirmed for launch.

  2. Oh god when did SU critical turn from actual valid criticisms (the plot, the art, the filler, the characters) to complaining that Lars being turned pink is somehow racist? What the hell

    • Blame this generation I guess. Just look at the whole Evergreen State College crap that’s going on right now. People want to complain about something or they want to be offended by something. They probably want to see Lars being made pink is some sort of White Washing given Lars was of a darker skin tone.

      • Maybe it was the lighting but isn’t his pink shade skin actually darker than his previous skin tone?

        I think people are just angry and touchy about this stuff so they will blow up about it because they’re frustrated. I understand that, but I wish they didn’t act on it. Communication is the only way we’re going to get anywhere.

        • They can take their frustrations elsewhere. SU is socially conscious, it doesn’t need rabid fans who will give the show a bad name

          • Well I don’t think they are fans. They are hate watching it. At this point they are becoming worse than the normal fandom (which still isn’t consistently THAT bad but again maybe I haven’t seen the bad part)

            Because the only Star Wars movies I can understand hating are the prequels because they aren’t well made movies (great meme material though)

          • TFA, yes, but before that everyone just shits all over the prequels. Which, I’ll admit, are pretty flawed movies, but the ferocity that some people have toward hating them is startling. And then there are the annoying fans who won’t accept that the EU was a big mess and is dead and gone. And the fans who won’t accept that Darth Maul actually lived. It’s just annoying. Everyone loves to hate something in that fandom

      • I honestly say I hate this generation for being offended by everything!

        At my old elementary school no more Holiday parties of any kind because of a Jahoba’s witness parent being offended!, A kid at my school in memory of his dad wore his dad’s helmet from Operation Desert Storm and he got threatened it would be confiscated due to someone being offended, racist trash hating on shows for changing a characters color pallet (even though they are totally fine with Lion being that way)

        What I say to all these people who go and ruin other peoples days by getting offended at something others have or do/did I say go sit in a f*cking corner and bitch to yourself if you don’t like it or just shut the f*ck up and stop butting in to everyone else’s likes, ideas, or traditions! Really sick and tired of it now

    • Mehhh honestly I only keep the Bone X to play Fallout
      Which is something I feel like playing again

      I’ve been in a gaming rut, I want a good action adventure platformer or a life sim like the next Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley

    • I’m going to be, though honestly my hypes pretty low this year. My MMO of choice launches its early access for its expansion the day after E3 so I’m probably going to be tuning into a lot of the media coverage for it. Seeing people fight the new challenge and having a better idea how to handle it ingame. I really don’t want a repeat of the last expansion with its preview fight.

        • I use to play wow. Played until near the end of WotLK. THe the Bright Crusaders Raid happened(I think that’s what the faction was called) and I lost all joy in the game. Then I switched to Rift for a year as a hardcore raider, and now I’m happy in Final Fantasy 14. Its a great game and I can’t praise it enough and always welcome anyone to join in with it. Heck they finally added in Jump potions to help out people who want to skip content for a price. Also the new classes look super good, even if their a bit hard to figure out how they’ll fit in the meta. Samurai’s super high dps, but almost no raid utility, while Red mage its pretty much a master of all things, but is still a caster and caster’s suck in the current meta.

    • That is a really weird exchange, I have to say. Maybe they’ve both been given a scoop which isn’t going to be shared before announcement.

      • I mean honestly I don’t think Joe knows anything. I think he’s just optimistic. Tom on the other hand clearly knows something. Many people have been down on the idea that we may get our “Stars” game due to us not hearing anything, but it’s clear that something is up. I really doubt he would continue pushing the subject up to this point if he didn’t have very hard evidence or the utmost confidence in his source. I believe we’ll get something at e3. Sure it’s unprecedented, but Pokemon have been a growing part of e3 since they first started showing up back in 2013.
