“This Summer will be Legendary” for Pokémon GO

Niantic was the recipient of several Webby awards for its global hit Pokémon GO and accepting the award was their Global Marking Lead Archit Bhargava. In traditional Webby-award fashion, he made a 5-word acceptance speech, “This summer will be legendary.”

While there have been multiple hints that 2017 would be the year Legendary Pokémon debuted in GO, we now have a much smaller time frame in which to expect them.

    • honestly anything the humans tried to do would probably just be destroyed by the gems anyways, the only ones who can really defeat the gem warlords, are other gems

        • well I mean, its not our earth, and once upon a time, probably before recorded history (maybe after) the gems fought on their earth, so tbh, they have always had some sort of presence on the planet… but people don’t really seem to care at all that they are aliens, even when they find out its like, never a big deal its just another thing, which means that it must be common knowledge that aliens walk among them maybe

          • yeahhh idk, they never really talk about the humans on that earth, I imagine because its just not as interesting in comparison to the gems

    • i’;m just waiting for the Rose Quartz origin story showing her emerge under the rule of Pink Diamond on a primeval Earth and soon beginning to defect and start the rebellion
      because i’m confident that :Pearl belonged to PD

      • Pearl could also belong to white diamond (considering she’s only ever had white diamonds on her gear when she did have it) , but its more likely she’s just a random pearl considering she’s off coloured and not quite white, not quite pink, the pearls that serve the other diamonds seem to be 100% the same colour as their diamond

      Now we have the Medieval torture for 590.99 where you are pulled apart by four horses of your choosing but I highly recommend the Clydesdales
      The death by chocolate is very popular where you are “chocolate boarded” strapped down to a board and have liquid chocolate poured on you until you drown, a sweet way to go but we must say that this chocolate does contain a almond extract so alert us if you have any nut allergies
      And lastly is my personal favorite is where you are crushed by a runaway semi driven by the Incredible Hulk, but based on Lou Farrigno’s net worth a private killing will be expensive and may have to settle with a group package
