Release of SM2 Brings Some Amazing Cards

Recently we got a peek at the cards in the newly released Japanese set, SM2. I’m sure most of you have seen at least a few of these by now, but a brand new set warrants another look. I will include a few in the article here from various Twitter posts and if you’d like to see them all, there will be a video at the bottom of the article that has everything else that has been released.

We don’t know what exactly this will mean for the next English set just yet. If we have everything that’s been released in our English set, we would have over 35 Ultra Rares, Full Arts, or Secret Rares. That just sounds outrageous. But only time will tell. I’ll be sure to keep you guys updated as we get news about English releases.

First off, we have the Wishiwashi GX/Full Art. The first card of Wishiwashi we have in its School Form.

 

Next up, we have a Secret Rare Fighting Energy. The Metal and Psychic Energy Secret Rares from Sun and Moon Base Set are really holding up price-wise so it’s nice to see TPCI continuing the trend. We also have a Secret Rare Lightning Energy in the set. We saw a Secret Rare Double Colorless Energy and Grass Energy in SM1+ which we still have not had in English. So potentially 4 Secret Rare Energies for the English SM2?

  10. I’m sorry I’m constantly complaining about my art and stuff. I wish I could just do it for fun. Now I just feel awful every time I draw something. 🙁

    Maybe I just need to stop for a few weeks? Or maybe I need to keep drawing? Idk. I’m so tired of everything right now

  12. One thing I really loved about Sinnoh was how big the region is during the main story. I liked how the routes were long to get to each gym, as it made the journey more memorable.

      • don’t forget that you can expand the levels and there are 25 Pagies, 200 quills and a bunch of collectibles because that’s what the core of this game is, transversing giant colorful worlds collecting moves and items to get to the new areas and plenty of challenges and baddies getting in the way

    • Every game in the universe has flaws, Deer. Even Breath of the wild isn’t perfect. But we have to take it at Face value and enjoy what we can. We could always look at how hard the team is actually trying, i like this team, they were my childhood heroes reassembled, so have a little good faith in them, failure or not, cuz they are trying hard for you~

      Mighty #9 was tortuously mishandled, rushed and overly bad with it’s piss poor everything from story and gameplay

      Yooka-Laylee is scores better due to a team of highly dedicated Rare veterans and greatly funded to glorious excess which can only be made better

          • And rightfully so, I’ve seen the golden Era of rare as a child, it’s pure genius~ That team was the only one doing DKC when the world was screaming Super Mario World, and they cranked out a good game for 3 straight years. then came Banjo Kazooie and the world finally saw them as an authority on 3d platformers, they changed the way we think about them and i have little doubt they still can blow out minds today~

      • You can’t prematurely judge what the game will be like based on the staff. Sure, the odds are better, but you can’t already say that.
