How does it looks like?
It’s essentially a pixie like Jewel beetle. It uses four of its wings to wrap itself in a cocoon like state around its lower half but can leave this state when fighting is needed. It’s basically a flying baby cocoon bug thingy that looks like a gemstone

Connie comes from Coni, which is part of a species name for a poisonous plant species. His full first name, Conifer, refers to a type of tree which goes with his mother being born into a family just as obsessed with Grass types as Connie’s paternal family is obsessed with Poison types. Hemlock, the surname, is a type of poisonous plant
All in all poisonous plant which makes sense since Grass and Poison types are his calling cards really
