  1. Random guess thingy: to evolve Crabominable in different regions, you’ll need to evolve it at:

    Kanto: Mt. Silver
    Johto: Ice Cave
    Hoenn: Shoal Cave Basement
Sinnoh: Mt. Coronet (honestly perfect for it)
    Unova: Cold Storage (BW)/??? (BW2)
    Kalos: Frost Cavern

Really don’t see why they didn’t just make it an Ice Rock evolution, would’ve gave that thing another reason to exist beyond Glaceon

  2. God Gen 1 is stupidly broken and I love it

You can get Nidoking/queen before the second gym (not recommended, leave it for Gym 3) and Wrap + Poison is like the worst thing you can do to something

Yep Weavile is my super close second Pokémon fast reflexes, a cool demeanor, the fastest Dark type (F*ck you Ash-Greninja you don’t count!), a neat color pattern, appears in one of my favorite Pokémon movies, nice move pool its got it all, but only one has toppled the rest to become my Favorite Pokémon!

No hint today it is 100% surprised

  4. For anyone who’d like to know, I discovered Moon’s entry for 100% Zygarde:

“This is Zygarde’s 100% form. It has enough power to overwhelm even Xerneas or Yvetal”. It’s nice to have the entry reference X/Y.

  9. Okay, so I know people have asked favourite types here literally hundreds of times, but has anyone ever asked why? the answer is yes but I haven’t seen it in ages sooo

So what’s your favourite type(s) (anywhere between your absolute favourite and your top ten) and why?

    • Water
      Dark
      Fighting

There’s no real reason except (if you’ve seen my top 10 favorite Pokemon lists) I used these Pokemon in competitive and they were cool so I grew to like their types.

    • isn’t it obvious
Ground: because i am the Earth Element, the Earth Element has been something i felt and revered for as long as i can remember its just always been with me

Fighting: i am a very pugnacious individual who values physical strength, and IRL i’m extremely strong (but i will admit i have low stamina since i’m hella fat)

      Rock: similarly to Ground’s reasoning

      • Huh, surprised Steel and Grass aren’t higher up considering their connection to the earth. How far up are both of them?

        Reply
        • ehhh Steel in all seriously i’ve only used Aggron and Excadrill (Steelix too but honestly its just not that good….)
and Grass…..i just don’t use em i mean Breloom, Abomasnow, Tangrowth, Chesnaught and Torterra are only ones i like, i need phyical grass monsters

which brings me to my next little fakemon

          Grogre
          Grass/Water
          The Quagmire Pkm
          Tangling Hair/Water Absorb HA: Regenerator
it’s hulking mass of swampy plants and muck, it has a wide body with hulking arms and branch like craws, it has a hump on the top of its body with ferns sticking out, an eerie red light peers out through the hump like angry eyes, its mouth takes a good portion of its torso and its filled with disgusting yellow snaggled teeth
“Grogre eat anything that gets near it, it hides in deep dark marshes with its mouth wide open hoping for prey to wander by”

    • 1) Poison – I just love how varied and unique the designs are, and the ideal of subtle/consistent lethality and trickery, as well as fluidity just kind of resonates with me. It and Fairy alternate between 1)

      2) Fairy – I love the elegance that the Pokémon of this type tend to possess, but also the underlying unnerving qualities that ring true with old fairy myths. The fact they’re basically the ‘light magic’ type also scores them points.

      3) Grass – They represent life, growth, change. They don’t stagnate until they die and I find that amazing. Also, the types aesthetic’s just go well with me and I love nature, which also feeds into Fairy-Type.

      4) Ghost – Death, spirituality, literal darkness, and black magic. This is what Ghost represents and I absolutely love it. It goes well with Fairy and Grass in different ways, and how varied the Pokémon in this type are whilst confirming to a common theme is amazing

      5) Fire – Fire sustains life, and get it also destroys it. It makes sense to round off my ‘two death types two life types’ shtick with a type that brings both. Plus, fire is cool and the way it burns with an inevitable end just speaks to me.

    • (1) WATER: There’s something so elegant about water, and I’ve always appreciated the beauty and power of oceans and such. Plus when it comes to water, there’s so much diversity in the types of life it supports.

      (2) BUG: Ok, so the funny thing is that I hate bugs in real life. I really can’t explain this one too well, I think I just find them really interesting and more approachable when they’re not real lol.

      (3) GRASS: Similar to Water, I love the diversity of life that comes with this type. Flora are something else natural, like water, that have always amazed me and caught my attention.

    • 1- Ghost: the Pokemons if this type are my favourites ones, why? Because their design choices, I think that Ghost have some of the most interesting designs and background behind them (like Sableye, whose design is based on an UFO incident and I love those) and their creepy Pokedex entry is something I also love about them and finally the ghosts trainers specialist are iconic in my eyes. I have more reasons but I can’t remember them 😛

      2 – Ice: Cuz they’re cool

      3 – Grass: Cuz they’re green

      4 – Fire: Cuz they’re lit
